I wanted to reschedule my appointment with Dr. Kavousi due to an emergency, the clinic made me redo my referral b/c its cancellation policy. After getting my family doctor to refer me again, I found out I can no longer book any appointment at the clinic, it turned out Dr. Kavousi blacklisted me. What kind of doctor rejects seeing patients that he/she has never met before? The lack of integrity is absurd.

I started receiving physiotherapy treatment at Athlete's Care, Maple from Brenda Lantz just over a month and a half ago. Brenda has been the best physiotherapist I have ever dealt with. She truly cares about your recovery and about you as a person. Not only has my recovery been a smooth process, I enjoy every session with Brenda. She has been supportive and like I said, very dedicated to improving my life through treating my injury with care. Love, love, love her - would recommend her to anyone!

I was referred to Dr. Kavousi for knee pain control. Well zero listening skills! I explained that I have pain while walking, sitting or even when I’m lying down and my pain started postpartum and that I have pain with my day to day activities with my 2 years old daughter, yet he asked me to do cycling and other exercises and to loose weight which is fine as long as I have some sort of medication to control the pain and start exercising. I was blamed for my condition by saying you are too big, it’s too soon for you to get this, this is the reality of your life! Well I don’t know the root cause of my condition but I know that I was in your clinic for a reason and you didn’t even bother to listen to me or to show me the exercises to straighten my muscles. You said that the exercises will be emailed to me after the session. I’m still waiting for your email after 2 weeks with pain that prevents me from the simplest activity to make the pain go away. At the end of the session he asked me if I got any knee injection before and I said no then he left the room saying you are obviously not interested in the injection!!!!!! I don’t know how he came to conclusion that I’m not interested in the injection but avoid this clinic if you are OHIP covered. I wish I have read the reviews before choosing this clinic to understand other patients experience who were OHIP covered and didn’t get the treatment they needed.

Athlete's Care Vaughan was literally my second home when I tore my ACL in my left knee. My physiotherapist, Mike is hands down one of the best I have ever worked with. His knowledge of injuries and understanding what and how your body moves and heals was invaluable in my recovery pre and post surgery. My recovery time was not only eased in knowing I was in good hands with him, but also allowed me to understand my body better and how to adapt to my new knee. The professional and fun environment there is great, and all the staff quickly became friends! Healing and recovery has never been easier and I love how personable their client experience is as well. Ten out ten would recommend them!

Last year, I had a horrible hamstring tear and Mike managed to fix it within a couple months. This year, I recommended my mom to Mike for her plantar fasciitis and she had incredible things to say, as well! Mike is dedicated and hard working and truly cares about his patient's well-being. I made an emergency appointment with Mike Aiuto for my knee, which had been bothering me for a week and had worsened to the point where I was so sore I was having difficulty even walking and even couldn’t sleep well due to the aching. I had a bad car accident over 30 years ago and have been dealing with soreness in this knee since, but this was something I hadn’t encountered before. Mike quickly recognized that an extremely tense hamstring was the likely cause, and then worked on loosening it up. Within a day (along with a number of exercises at home) my knee started to feel better and within about 5 days it was back to normal. My experience demonstrated Mike’s high standards of professionalism and knowledge, I highly recommend his services for physiotherapy treatment.

I have been coming to Athletes Care for some time snd I have just completed my second full knee replacements. I am at 5 weeks since surgery, and I can’t stress how amazing my therapist has been. I have been working with Michael for a number of years prior to these surgery’s. He is attentive, accommodating and always listens to my concerns. I am usually very careful person where to go for getting a high quality services. I have booked a few physio sessions by super knowledgeable, master Sandro Cestra. I am very happy with selecting my choice Sandro is a very knowledgeable professional, high quality skill who attention to all details and he knows what he is doing. I've been seeing Hussein for about 5 years and I couldnt be more happier with the results. He is educated and very passionate about his job. I have seen great improvements with my mobility since working with him. During COVID he has been proactive when it comes to social distancing between patients and keeping a clean and welcoming environment. His staff are friendly and are always wearing a mask. He is flexible with his scheduling and try’s to accommodate you as best as possible. I

I and my wife have been going regularly for physiotherapy sessions with Brenda at this location. We are very impressed with her knowledge, ability to analyze our issues and always come up with a program to help us get back to our regular physical activities. Mike D’Aiuto was instrumental in getting my mobility and gait to the point that I am walking straighter and without pain. The active release and other treatment modalities at the sessions including continued assigned exercises at home kept improving muscle strength. Dr. Matt Di Nardo has been treating me for just over a year now. When I starting seeing him I could barely walk or sit without pain in my lower back. His chiropractic care including adjustments and acupuncture have been very helpful and I can now workout without feeling any pain. He has also treated me for neck and shoulder pain which I feel relief from. He goes above and beyond to accommodate you, especially if you need an emergency visit and checks up on you to see how your doing.
