The food and experience was absolutely fun! We were sat around a table and grill with a few other people, all of which were super nice. The music was bomb, the food was bussin, the waitresses/hostesses were incredibly kind and accommodating, and the chefs displayed incredible skills and made the experience really fun. Plus, the drinks were great - they definitely weren’t stingy with the alcohol. Definitely coming back again!

Absolutely amazing! Delicious food and incredible show! Definitely upgrade for their fried rice. A lot of people were coming here for birthday celebration. They include the service charge already (but it's only 15% and I wish it was more because the cooking show is amazing!)

Great show, they really know how to entertain you during the cooking. The food is cooked well, especially the filet. A bit disappointed that all the meat and seafood ended up having the same flavour. The fried rice was good but nothing special. Sushi is good too. Overall an enjoyable experience because of the show and seeing the cooking, the food itself was fine but nothing you couldn't get at another restaurant.

Never been to this place before. Heard about it from one of my friends. Had to try this, as per the recommendation. Good: Ample parking space Ambiance is good. Food is great Quality of service is good as well. Price is moderate. Can be improved ( or may be not ): It's too noisy sometimes. Must try , if you are a foodie or not.

Stopped in for dinner on a Friday night with some friends. Overall the experience was nice, but felt quite rushed. They seemed to want to get people in and out. We still had half a glass of wine and the waitress asked if we wanted our bill. It's a good spot for birthdays, get togethers etc but overall 3.5/5.

The ambience had good vibes, food was good. Chef’s skills & interaction with guests was also good. Service was OK. However all these aspects have scope for improvement. Hence my rating is based on relative experience with another famous chain Teppanyaki restaurant that I had in Dallas, Texas. I believe the menu can have some more options like Teriyaki Chicken etc.. Also was a bit surprised not to find in house hot chilli paste / sauce. They just had store bought Sriracha sauce.

I was looking forward to Hibachi Teppenyaki when a friend suggested it to our party of 8. Unfortunately things went downhill very quickly after we were seated. The server seemed very friendly at first but didn’t last very long. The main server tried to impose the group menu onto our party. With the group menu, everyone in your party gets the same group menu foods that are chosen. At first he attempted to deceive us and told us that the group menu is our only option. I tried to ask a secondary server if that was legitimate but they were of no help - often coming to the table to drop small items off, also with no smile or personality. When I insisted to our main server that we all didn’t want the same thing and that we wanted the normal menu instead of the group menu, he changed from friendly to extremely unpleasant. It didn’t get any better when 7 out of our group of 8 ordered waters. We could literally see the smile disappear from his face. And it never returned throughout our time there. I guess it’s more work for them if everyone orders their own meals as opposed to a group meal. But the server we ordered from wasn’t even preparing our food so I found it unnecessary that he became so unpleasant. I personally ordered the crispy wontons as an app, the steak and shrimp teppanyaki dinner course with chicken fried rice and spicy miso soup. The spicy miso soup was good but not spicy at all. The crispy wontons were over fried - please refer to my photo where you can see they are clearly burnt and not even close to a golden fried wonton. The fried rice was lacking salt and any sort of flavour. The steak was also very much lacking any sort of seasoning, flavour or rub. The shrimp were also underwhelming. Both the proteins were incredibly bland. This is a Japanese cuisine restaurant and not a single pinch of any sort of Japanese seasoning or flavours on any of the foods. A secondary server, who looked like he hated his life, served us two sauces on the side, one weird brown one to eat with the chicken and beef and one white to eat with shrimp. But no explanation even as to what the sauces are. I understand that part of this restaurant experience is the performance that the chef puts on but that too was kind of boring but by far not the worst part of this restaurant experience. He put on a small performance while making our bland food and served it to us. Afterwards he attempted to throw broccoli at us for us to catch it in your mouth. I guess if I was drunk, this might have been somewhat fun and maybe I wouldn’t have care about how much the food sucked. The entire restaurant - service as well as the food - is not worth it, especially at their price point. With the upgrades I got, my bill was close to $75 for just myself, all for a dinner plate that looks like I served it myself at a Mandarin Buffet. Except the food from a Mandarin Buffett actually has some flavour. If you go with a party, it seems they automatically add 15% gratuity. Good for them that I was with a group because my experience at this Hibachi Teppanyaki didn’t warrant even a $3.00 tip. The service was atrocious. No smiles, no professionalism, not even once did a server come to refill our waters. The food was dull and boring. No flavour, no seasoning. The chefs performance was passable but ultimately it’s a restaurant; where people go mainly to eat. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this Hibachi Teppanyaki to anyone. I feel this restaurant has no standards for their serving staff, the food has no connection to Japanese cuisine and therefore you’re just paying to go watch a chef cook your food for 10 minutes. Overall, it’s not worth it for the price that you pay. Go somewhere else.

The rolls were delicious and beautiful served. I also ordered mango salad with seafood. Wasn’t impressed by it. What I especially enjoyed was their green tea, also served highly aesthetically and such a good taste!

The restaurant is tastefully decorated and clean, much like the other locations, and the exhaust systems WORK as soon as they're turned on, I think that's where a lot of the complaints about being cold come from. Personally, I'm happy with a breeze if it means I'm not walking out reeking of meat and onions. One thing to keep in mind here is sight lines at the tableside grills, we were positioned beside/behind the chef. Be sure to sort that out upon arrival if it's an issue. The portions of the salad and sides here are slightly smaller than other locations, but the taste and quality is on par. The steak, chicken, and shrimp were delicious and cooked to perfection. The chef was friendly and entertaining, he delivered a wonderful meal and was entertaining from what I could see from my less than ideal vantage point. All in all, good value for the price paid. It met my expectations.

My cousins and I booked a late evening reservation here for a group of 10 recently and overall had a really great time. The food was delicious and everyone seemed to have enjoyed it thoroughly. One more major complaint we had was that the service seemed to be slower than we are used to and it was a solid 40 minutes of us just sitting there hanging out before we actually started up on the food and cooking fun. Communication was a bit of a struggle too, when we asked for sake recommendations, they basically said yea get anything which was not helpful for guests who may want more information and descriptions of the items to better select what they might like. A warning for people who choose to order dessert...the fried ice cream was delicious but comes in a much larger portion size than expected. I'm used to places that give you one smaller piece and this place gave a plateful which was awesome for sharing but totally unexpected and not clearly mentioned in the menu or from the staff when we asked about the portion size (they also kept changing which flavors were available still and it all got really confusing)....essentially we ordered way too much and after a full meal like that, it was just too much to finish and a waste of food and money! Additionally, while the staff was overall super friendly and pleasant, our cook definitely seemed extremely "tired" so to speak; there was a major lack of energy the entire time and the show was rather disappointing. We had guests visiting from England and this was their first hibachi/teppanyaki experience so we were hoping for a bit more than what we got here. My local family goes to similar restaurants quite regularly, but this was our first time at this particular location and it was definitely not as lively as we are typically used to for this style of restaurant. Overall, the food was great and we did definitely still have a fun night eating here still though!

We came for our cousin get together. The service was top notch. The chef was great and very entertaining. The food was good and very tasty. The only downside was the price. Overall a great experience.

This was my first visit and it was a pleasant experience. The decor was simple but welcoming, they had a little waiting room for you to sit in while they prepped your table. I haven't had teppanyaki in a while so it was really nice going again. We ordered the beef gyoza and the shrimp & veggies tempura as a start and they were both really good. The teppanyaki itself was delicious and quite filling (we got the steak & lobster tail), they add butter into everything which made it way better! My only complaint about the food is that it can get pretty saucy when they cook it so it's a little more on the saltier side of things. For dessert I got the fried mango ice cream and honestly it was more like fried cake with a bit of mango ice cream in the center, definitely a new taste but a pleasant one none the less. It is on the pricier side but I would definitely come back again for a special occassion (apparently a lot of people celebrate their birthdays there)

I like it. I went here for lunch with a party of 12 people. The place was clean and well organized. The staff are friendly and attentive. They were accommodating to the food allergies that some of the people in my group has. The food was delicious and the 'show' was entertaining. There was a discount for larger groups so I found the experience as a whole a good value.

Flavours are really good! The chef puts on a good show; he was entertaining, friendly, and had a good sense of humor. We liked the shrimps, chicken, fried rice, and the udon noodles. My dad loved the lobster. Found the portions to be slightly small, but enough for our party. We were also pleased with the selection of cocktails. Waitstaff was friendly and quick to help us out as well. Good for parties.

I wish I took more pictures but honestly I absolutely love coming here. I always know it’s going to be a good time with good food. I would rather come here with a smaller group of people just due to the table arrangement. We came in a group of 10 and it was really hard to talk during dinner because of the distance and how loud it was in the restaurant. So I’d come back in a smaller group of 2-6 max. The food is great, service is friendly and entertaining, restaurant is clean and I highly recommend coming here!

The food is really good but the service was incredibly slow, even though we were 2 out of 5 people in the restaurant. Took a long time to get seated, a long time to order food and a long time for our bill to come. The restaurant is nice looking. And every song they played was about s*x and really explicit even though there were kids in the restaurant. Even as a grow adult, that made me a little uncomfortable.

For halal meat need to be preorder one or two days ahead. Customer service was really terrible but the chef was really nice. Im giving it 2 stars for the vibes only. the meat had only salt and pepper no flavour like I would never expect the food taste from an Asian restaurant even the sushi rolls weren’t tight enough and they were below average.

Even that food was really good and the chef who prepared our meal was good too. The service and atmosphere were terrible. When we entered the restaurant, there was no one to greet us. We waited at least 5 minutes until someone came out. The music was very loud and not appropriate for the place. Then, they were rushing us to finish like someone was waiting for our table when we were the only ones there. I do not recommend this place.

Hibachi was definitely a fun eating experience. We were entertained to a superb display of chef skills, with my favourite being the egg hat catch. It was all so smooth. The steak came out tender and not over cooked. What really surprised me was the quality of fried rice that came out. One would think that the quality would suffer after a showman’s routine. It was actually very good fried rice. I was pleasantly surprised. And, most importantly, the chef asked for my consent if he could throw broccoli that I would catch in my mouth (I declined). I appreciate that he asked before doing it to save us both some embarrassment and the restaurant a lot of broccoli on the floor :) Shout out to Mr. Johnny who runs a great restaurant.

We had the set menu. Tried chicken with vegetable fried rice and chicken yakisoba (it was a little dry, the noodles were good). The chef put up a good show and the birthday celebration was fun with the crew being out a drum and wishing happy birthday.

It's a pleasant place offering a unique experience with good food and service. However, celebrating our anniversary there was a mistake. We shared a table, spent only 1.5 hours, and couldn't enjoy a drink or have a conversation. It's recommended for a different experience, but not ideal for a date unless you're looking for a quick visit.

Went here to celebrate my wedding anniversary and the food was delicious and the chef puts on a show as he cooks in front, which is super fun. We got scallops, shrimp, and the deluxe combo (fillet mignon, salmon, lobster, and chicken), and opted for chicken fried rice. Everything was really good, the salmon in particular was our favourite. The karaage was a bit lackluster, I didn't quite like the breading/batter used. Also the miso soup and salad that comes with the teppanyaki set seemed kinda watered down/bit as flavourful. Overall, worth checking out this place if you're looking for a place to celebrate. Seems like everyone who was there was celebrating something (i.e. birthday, anniversary)

It was my best choice to visit here today. First time visiting this place and we went during lunch time weekday. I have been to few teppanyaki places and it is one of highly recommended as they have great menu for kids with reasonable price. My husband and 5yr old son visited for the first time. They absolutely loved it. We had seafood combo (shrimp, scallops, lobster), salmon and AAA filet mignon + upgrade veggie fried rice and my son gave thumbs-up for AAA filet mignon and scallops! Other stuffs were also amazing. Our chef was very professional and a server was quick, polite, and very welcoming- best service ever had. Hope I can give 10 stars for today's experience. Will visit again soon!!

Our chef had nice skills, was courteous and communicated well. The food was ok, could have been better (noodles was bland, veggies was well-spiced, steak was good). Giving three stars because they didn’t wipe the guest table tops but threw the cutlery. Price was fair They sang and played the drum for birthday celebrants. First Teppanyaki experience and it was good.

Good experience. Just some points: - Asked for a birthday song and I wasn’t made aware that there’s a $10 charge for it. -The bill already have 15% automatic gratuity. - If you want to upgrade your rice , prepare for a $4-5 charge same idea if you want a noodle instead of rice. (Not pricey if noodles. )

We had dinner here with 7 adults and 5 kids ages 6, 11, 12, 13 and 14. We had reservations for 7:30pm, but had to wait until 8:15pm to get seated. There were 2 ladies working at the front. The first lady told us our whole party had to be there to be seated (which we understand). We had our party pulling in already anyways. When our whole party was there we were then given the excuse that they didn’t have enough cooks and were just waiting for a cook to be available. They should have just told us that in the first place. Once seated, it took about another hour before we had a cook. It just seemed like we had to complain every step of the way to get seated and serviced. The good part of the dinner was the cook, as he knows how to entertain the patrons. The food was nothing to wow about, but I would still say it was pretty decent. Our group ordered: - Deluxe dinner (x4) - consisting of chicken, shrimp, steak and lobster - Fried chicken for the kids (x2) - Steak for the kids (x2) - Salmon Lover Sushi (x2) - Edamame (x2) If your family has big eaters, this amount may not be enough for you. The order was just enough for my family. We are not small eaters by any means, but we are not gluttonous. For those who do not know, Teppanyaki is where a cook makes the food in front of you. You can also order side dishes and sushi in addition to your meal. For the price, the sushi is quite small. We did not order any sashimi.

Overall: Poor service overshadowed the otherwise good food and dining atmosphere/experience Note: This review was written in August 2021 during the COVID pandemic, which may have impacted our experience. - A reservation was made for our party of 9 guest ahead of time. Prior to the date, the restaurant attempted to up-sell us on the party options at a considerably higher cost (even though I was informed that it would be more cost-effective) for only a few additional items/upgrades (sushi appetizers, fried instead of white rice, ice-cream dessert). Committing to a party option also meant that each guest was limited to the entrée(s) included in the selected package, which wouldn't have worked for my party where guests had different entrée preferences. - We were seated promptly at our reservation time. However, it took another 10-15 min for our orders to be taken, and then an additional 30+ min before the food started being prepared at the teppanyaki table. Other guests that night seemed to have to wait similarly long. - The food quality was good, but not so exceptional compared to other teppanyaki restaurants in the GTA that I would recommend this place over others. Our chef was a novice and understandably didn't give as outstanding of a performance as more seasoned chefs; I saw at least one more seasoned chef serving other tables. - Table services following the the initial order-taking was infrequent, making it difficult to place additional orders. - The price of the individual meals were very reasonable; however, be aware of additional charges that add up, like drinks (no free refills) and upgrades (e.g., steamed rice to fried rice), mandatory service charge of 15% for parties of 8+, birthday cake charge. Nothing out-of-the-ordinary but good to be aware of ahead of time.

We love eating out. Last night we found this magnificent place which we didn’t know before. We spent a lovely time there with excellent cooking and a professional team and a great chief cook. We added this place in our list and we shall no doubt go again soon. We warmly recommend.

we did takeout. overall, they were great. ordering was pretty easy and the food was mostly good. they lost a star because the vegetables tasted better than the steak. the steak wasn't horrible but it was a bit on the bland side. if they didn't include so many sauces, it wouldn't have had any flavour at all. that being said, i've never been so excited to eat vegetables before. the mushrooms especially were fabulous.
