Overcrowded. Mediocre food. One egg came undercooked. Charge $3.99 just for cream cheese for the bagel. Avoid this location. Bathurst & Rutherford is way better. Also not sure why they don't get proper cups for serving soft boiled eggs, or cut the top off for serving. Their "chive cream cheese" is just plain cream cheese with a few pieces of green onion in it...not chive. The deserts I got are ½ the size of the ones I got at a downtown location, and much drier. Definitely far from impressed with them or that 4 cost $4.40.

THe bagel was pretty good but the rest of the experience was poor. Staff didn’t inform us they didn’t have some of the items before and made our bagel wrong the first time. It was an extremely difficult situation just ordering a bagel.

Always my go-to spot for fresh bagels and a large egg salad that I can use for my own toppings. This place is nice because it's also a built-in diner where you can pick your bagels and choose your toppings. Great parking availability and the lineups are usually pretty quick if you don't come during rush hour times.

One of the best bagels in the Greater Toronto Area. The staff is very nice and helpful. Since I like spicy food, I was suggested to try their hot sauce by the sweet old lady, and their hot sauce is really good, goes really well with the cream cheese and their bagels.

Absolutely yummy brunch. Good variety of selections. Extremely crowded on the weekends for obvious reasons. When they are busy then the quality could be below the expectations. My coffee cup had lipsticks on it originally but after I notified the server he changed for me quickly.

They have a lot of workers, but depending on where you sit, you might need a while to get serviced. The food is bomb though =] The avocado turkey sandwich and shakshouka were great.

I've been coming here for bagel sandwiches for as long as I can remember. Generally, I've had positive experiences dining here in the past, but today's experience made me concerned about the quality assurance in their bagel production. As I was eating my bagel sandwich, I pulled out a hair not from the sandwich toppings, but rather from the bagel dough itself. This completely tainted my experience and made me not trust their production processes. Please make sure to follow safe production practices and ensure your staff wear the appropriate gear to prevent situations like this from happening.

Great place for bagel lovers! All the baked goods look and smell fresh and delicious. I had a tuna sandwich on a twisted bagel made by Patricia and it was fabulous! She definitely put love in the sandwich. I recommend this location for a great and friendly eating experience.

Horrible experience. I love the franchise, I seek whatabagel out for lunch t least 3x a week. This spe ifoc location, very rude staff. I spend $30 on lox bagel (salmon) and they were sure to get the gross salmon slices from the bottom of the bucket and proceeded to pour pepper on the bagel when I specifically asked for them to not do that. I already paid before they made the sandwich and they denied my refund. Again, I've eaten at many locations. I will never again eat at this one. Update: I didnt want a further argument with staff so i took the sandwiches and ate them againt my better judgement. I got food poisoning . Threw up everything an hour later.

My name is Michael. I don’t know what I would do without what-a-bagel. These are single handedly the best bagels I have ever had. So happy they’re located right next to me. The cream cheese is always so fresh and delicious. Thank you what a bagel

I really like the food here. But the service and maintenance is just a nightmare. Incredibly slow, rude people at the checkout are very reluctant to take orders. When you pay so much money, I would like to see good service. If you place an order at the checkout, you can’t sit down and eat at their place, it’s just terrible.

One of our favorite brunch places with great variety of dishes all done well, but the schnitzel is on another level. Everyone we’ve brought here has loved it and come back for more. The staff is super friendly and accommodating even in peak times. The bakery is also great with super fresh and flavorful bagels and challah. The sweets and cakes are also good.

The baked good cinnamon danish have no flavor. Its like a roll with cinnamon rubbed on it. The best What a Bagel Is located and Westminister and Bathurst. Different owner who really understands how make baked goods. Try them and you will never go back.

Used them to cater a party. The food was so fresh and tasty. The veggie platter looked so cute. Everything was great and the price was reasonable! Will definitely use them again.

The main entrance door changed, if you’d like to have breakfast you must go from the patio side. The food quality was good, but no kid’s menu, the staff were very friendly.

This was my first time here and unfortunately the hostess was unorganized and we were stuck waiting for 45 minutes for a table. When we approached her about it she did not apologize and left us to keep waiting. We spoke to the manager about it and he apologized, acted quickly, and comped us our entire meal. I'm glad he was able to fix the situation quickly and make sure we didn't leave angry. The food is great and the service was great as well.

FRESH! HEALTHY! TASTY! went for breakfast. Very clean, bright and friendly atmosphere. Staff were pleasant and attentive. The What a Benedict was absolutely delicious. I was able to substitute fruit with my meal. Food was fresh and tasty. Also, purchased baked goods, cream cheese and bagels. Definitely check it out and stay for a meal. You won't be disappointed :)
