Great art-center! I liked their exhibition and performance with an old clock. An old man who works here is very friendly and ready to explain everything, talk with him. There is also nice booklet with all the info. You can go up to the top and see the city view. Museumcard doesn’t work here, entry is 10 euro.

Really nice art gallery dedicated to Jheronimus Bosch. Hosted in a former church, it includes high quality copies of his work as well as 3D representations from his paintings. The staff is really friendly and helpful and the guide book is very useful. You can also take the elevator to the 5th floor for a nice view of the city. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is that there are no originals, but it surely provides a great immersion in Bosch's work. Recommended!

We went to Hertogenbosch just to see this museum. Very friendly and helpful staff, the museum was really up to date and the paintings were just astonishing. We could have spent 3 hours just looking at one and still have so muck more left to contemplate at. We had a great time and we nourished our brains with all this knowledge and art from Den Bosch. Thank you for this amazing visit!!

It’s great too see so many 3D figures from Jeroen Borsh’s painting. Impressive! The copies of his works are also with very high quality. It’s a wonderful feeling in the middle of Jeroen Bosch’s world.

An absolutely unbelievable experience. An old church renovated into a tribute to Hieronymus Bosch, as weird of an experience as there may be. All the works are replicas, of course, unfortunately, but very very well made and give a great scope of his works and a nice perception of his art journey.

Really nice little art gallery hosted in a former church. The location is at a walking distance from the city center. There is an elevator to the tower. From the top you can see Den Bosch. You can take the stairs on your way down and look at some temporary exhibitions. The Art Center is filled with reproductions of the original paintings and statues based on his work. If you are lucky, you can see the famous church clock playing. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. When purchasing the ticket you will get a small book with a short explanation about every painting.

Nice educational Art Center, also for my 16 year old daughter. We have learned a lot about Jeroen. Too bad there isn't 1 original painting hanging there.

Great place with special atmosphere and 26 reproductions of paintings by Bosch. You can also take the elevator to the observation deck with city view. Recommend it

Incredible Museum with the work of Jheronimus Bosch all of the paintings are reproductions, but they give you a guide and you can see were in the world is the original painting. Even if you are not familiar with this painter is really a wonderfull experience and you can learn a lot about the meaning of the paintings and the artist that were inspired by this painter like Escher and Dalí. The entrance it's only 10 euros. When you see the painting "The Garden of the Earthly Delights", ask to the people in charge to show you the back of the painting. At the end of the visit yo can go up and see the view of the city.

Situated in a church which has been transformed in to a complete gallery of jheronimus's work. A small glass elevator will take you up 5 floors to nice panoramic views of the city. It had some interactive activities to do. Well worth a visit to see the inside of this artists mind.

10 euro entry fee (no museumkaart) but definitely worth a visit. Make sure you see the clock chime on the hour for a special treat. Handy booklet explains story behind the different pictures.

It cannot be a 5 stars just because there are no original works from Bosch. The concept here is to have a look to the entire work of Jheronimus Bosch in one place to enter in the mind of the artist. The atmosphere was amazing but you will miss the sensations transmitted by the real paints. Do not miss to visit the top of the tower to enjoy the view of the city.

Not a part of the Museumkaart, but absolutely worth the ticket. Only replicas as all the originals are all in different museums. The modern takes of contemporary artists inspired by Bosch makes a great complement.

Such an amazing experience, especially to see how his Art has been displayed in modern ways as well. It was so great to show a couple friends to this museum. The staff were lovely and very friendly, especially when talking to the children. They had a great scavenger hunt with great clues, very suitable for our 8 and 10 year old. Highly recommend this museum as the Art is very unique. Such lovely views from the tower too.

  • 5/5 Marta W. 2 years ago on Google
    You can breath Bosch there.

Church re-designed into museum. This adds to its unique atmosphere along with all the fantastic illustrations depicting religious narratives.

60 ish reproductions of the artists' paintings and sketches in a grand setting. Helpful guidebooks available in a few languages, that tell you where the original pieces live. Very helpful staff too. You can book a tour in advance for €50. €7.50 admission. An hour or two is plenty. Watch the astrological clock on the hour!! Go up to the 5th floor for a nice view of the city. Some English books in the giftshop if you want to dig beneath the superficial. Too bad the boat tour was closed for the winter, would have been a neat compliment.

A very interesting collection of Bosch's paintings, and although replicas, that seemed to be in our favor as we were able to touch them and open-close the triptychs. Really enjoyable visit and they even give you a booklet with descriptions of each painting. Huge plus the elevator to the top from where you can see the cathedral at all its majesty!!

Wonderfull experience, also my children found the experience extremely intriguing. A true jump in the visionary and disquieting past of middle-age guided by the magnificent art of Bosch.

  • 5/5 LiverPool Of L. 6 years ago on Google
The museum building is a former church (great decision), and you can also visit the bell tower. I love this museum and after my visiting I collected many photos of art sculptures from his art along the water canals around the city.

Fabulous exposition of bizarre paintings by Hyeronimus Bosch in a beautiful church, located in lively and lovely old center of the city Den Bosch, or 'sHertogenbosch.

  • 5/5 Iryna P. 1 year ago on Google
This place was in the list) we took kids with us and at some point it looked like they recognized the museum as a huge playground to have fun at. Slightly mad, but meaningful, combination of church atmosphere and Bosch's personal world vision made me stop and ask important questions to myself.

  • 3/5 Tony A. 1 year ago on Google
Extensive collection of reproductions of Bosch's art, well presented around the Art Centre... a nice little guidebook with descriptions of each of the exhibits, but without any illustrations to refer back to later.

  • 4/5 Marcin C. 1 year ago on Google
Interesting place, but there is no single original picture of Jheronimus Bosch. All are the reproductions. On a plus note you can take a really close look at them. Also the museum card is not accepted, but the access to the tower is included in a ticket price.

MUST VISIT for any art fans and especially for Bosch's fanboys. A lot of very well made replicas and accompanying informative booklets. Fantastic place, polite and helpful staff. An interesting unexpected addition to the visit was a short live presentation on the unfathomably complicated town clock. The man running it was great!

  • 5/5 Robert M. 8 months ago on Google
I really enjoyed the fact it wasn't very crowded for a start. It was very well laid out. Also, there are two floors above the main gallery that have beautiful paintings as well. Not by heronomous Bosch but really good and in that style.

Like it a lot, though museum cards are not exempted

  • 2/5 Pippa J. 3 years ago on Google
I enjoyed it of course because of the artist . But I felt it was a very poor tribute to the work of probably the most original artist (considering when he was painting such works) the world has ever seen.

  • 3/5 aukje r. 3 years ago on Google
For kids, this place is an absolutely must. If you are in to Bosch, with heart and soul, you will like the permanent exhibition, but off course, don't expect the real deal. That's why this art centre should definitely be more used for educational purposes. As for the art loving adult. You'll enjoy this, and if you end up feeling discouraged. Please, step into the St Jans Cathedral and pray with me 😘💙

The museumkaart does not include this museum but the place is great and definitely must be visited. Bosch has been my favorite artist so far by his unique “devils”. Guides are really nice and helpful people. They don’t accept cash, and for students the entrance cost is 5 euros. You don’t need a reservation.
