By Googling for Mexican food/taco’s, I stumbled upon this great place where you can enjoy some delicious comfort food and delicious cocktails. It is Mexican-street food, with a modern twist that is. My description of Queru: Good vibes! Good food! Good drinks! The personnel is genuine, very friendly and they know their food and drinks very well. They are very knowledgeable indeed! The food was absolutely delicious! I had the “Taco de choriqueso” and the “Taco de baja prawns”. They were absolutely delicious! A party in my mouth, soft, crunchy, sweet, sour, not too salty and not spicy at all! To add some spicy goodness, they did provide a habanero(?) “spicy” hot sauce with pineapple. I have to say though, that I am used to my grandmother’s spicy chutney... So the sauce was not spicy at all haha! One little let down for me, were the “Churros” I had as my dessert… The thing is, I know what good and tasty churros taste like. Crunchy on the outside and still soft on the inside. The ones that I got were crunchy on the outide and crunchy/dry on the inside… So if I can give you guys some specific feedback, please take a look at your recipe and the way you bake the churros. There is definitely room for improvement there. Still, I’m going to give Queru 5 stars. It’s a great and tasty addition to the city of The Hague. Highly recommended to spend some quality time here!

This Mexican fusion diner was a incredible find. The music sets a nice vibe. The service is brilliant, friendly with detailed explanations of the restaurant concept and menu which you don’t get often. The food was mouth watering, I tried the ceviche to start which came as a larger than expected portion but was truly incredible, the fresh beetroot, avocado, onion, guacamole, lime gives the ceviche that Mexican style, highly recommend trying this dish. For mains I tried 4 tacos, chicken, 2 variations of pork and prawn. All were exquisite, the meat flavouring was amazing coupled with salsa and a very spicy sauce served on the side.

Cosy place, cute vibes and feels authentic. The food is definitely on a different taste spectrum for me, but in a good way. I would like to visit again some time and try other dishes.

One of The Hague’s best Mexican restaurants with delicious tacos and a simplistic theme. The taco menu is extensive, and also includes a few vegetarian / seafood options (all wonderful). Drinks and deserts are also well prepared. Dinner is served during two specific time slots and can get very busy at times, make sure to reserve in advance!

Nice Mexican and very busy so we were fortunate to get a table even 30 minutes after opening. Would recommend reserving a table. Ordering via mobile device and food delivered as and when it is ready and not necessarily in the order you think/want it to come. Meatballs were fantastic, though fish taco was pretty bland. Good vibes and friendly place for families also as there were many families here even early Saturday evening.

We had dinner at QUERU and it was great! The flavors were good, the service was nice and you could see that they are very hard working, the cocktails were amazing and the home made salsa was amazing. Would definitely come back!

No words. Just incredible!!! So fresh and very tasty. The meat falls apart in your mouth. The guacamole is smooth and well seasoned. The margaritas are like nothing I’ve ever had - the best margarita I’ve had outside of Mexico. And the tacos are right up there with it! We tried the pork and chicken carnitas tacos and the shrimp taco - all amazing. Great vegetarian options too. And don’t get me started about the churros… incredible! Best I’ve ever had, all around. Great atmosphere and staff, too. Can’t wait to go back!!!

Top recommended Mexican restaurant. They provide modernized Mexican street food. Very nice restaurant with very nice staff. They serve salsa with every dish which is a bit spicy. They have a very nice veg as well as non veg options. They have a small kitchen. The main dish on the menu can be shared by two persons or three to be ideal since all are served with three tortilla so that each person gets 3 different tacos instead of same taco three times. The filling on tortilla are very tasty and satiating. Very friendly staffs and Pleasant outdoor seating

I had high expectations as I am familiar with the exceptional food at Ruis Señor. Queru Cantina is loud and tiny but that's that cantina vibe. The food was really good, but it took a while. I can't help but think it had to do with all the delivery people coming in and out while the place was already full. You have to choose the amount of time you'll be there when making reservations. I recommend more than an hour if you're going to order multiple entree's. Cocktails was heavy on the tequila which is a good thing. The staff was very nice and helpful. Also the layout is great for the size. We will be back so maybe I'll raise it to 5 stars as it has the potential, until then it's a solid 4 stars.

The place to go to for tacos! They're a bit of a fusion restaurant with Mexican flavours and cooking mixed with international dishes like Takoyaki, but it's a delicious combination and everything we ordered was packed with intense flavour. We got the pork chorizo tacos, the prawn and white fish tacos, the tako-yaki main dish, and guacamole. Everything was excellent, and it's nice that they put the extra spicy sauces on the side so if you don't have a high spice tolerance you can still really enjoy every dish! Be careful, you may rack up a high bill because you just keep ordering more :D I definitely think this place is a hidden gem in the Hague and I can't wait to come back here again!

This restaurant was fully booked still they had a very good service always nicely asking how our food is and if we need anything. The dishes were good portions, meant to share. Mexican food with a local twist…for us it was very delicious and perfectly made.

Good food, friendly staff, slightly pricy. The restaurant is in a nice neighborhood. Inside it looks a bit simple and noisy if packed with people. The food is simple but really tasty. No complains there. The margaritas are small and way overpriced. Hence the 4 start...

3 stars because of the service. One of the employees does not know what customer service or smiling means (female with blonde hair) while the other is professional and passionate about her work and made our day (female darker hair). Please train your employees to smile! The food is delicious, we tried multiple things and all are recommended. The shop is nice and has a good vibe. We tried it on the 28th of July

Very pleasant restaurant. Mexican street food at it’s best! We loved the ceviche and the Mexican ‘bitterballs’ as starter and had several delicious taco’s. We will definitely return here to taste the rest of the menu.

Been here couple of times and food are always taste good. I tried everything what's on they're menu and Tacos are the best. Very cozy place and service is amazing. For the desserts ,try the churros as they served it warm and crunchy .

Casual, delicious, fast service. Make sure to make reservations, it will be busy. Acoustics could be better, once it's full the ambient noise is no joke.

I wish the food was spicy and the guacamole was chunky, this one felt like a purée from Doritos dipping sauce. Also there could be more menu options to choose from. The chicken in the taco was a bit bland, the sauce made up for it. But that feeling of hot peppers can’t be replicated by putting a hot sauce on top of each bite. Of course the restaurant has to adapt itself to the bland Dutch palette and I think considering we’re in the Netherlands this is one of the best Mexican restaurants around. The waitress with short blonde hair and with long brown hair were incredibly attentive and caring, the service is on point. Thank you for the dinner!

As a sole female traveler this cantina makes you feel.comfortable. The wait staff checks in have a short comment or conversation even thou they are extremely busy. Food simply delicious more elaborate than “street food” seabass crevice plus the slowed cooked pork taco with a classic Margarita leaving no room for dessert.

Food is really good, with attention to detail and taste. The place is loud and lively, which was good for us, but should be considered. Point of criticism: They still have their corona (not the beer) style order system in place where you scan a code on the table to open an online order tool. Still the waiters take orders if you prefer. However the experience was not smooth and we had to ask multiple times to get our stuff.

What a great experience! The atmosphere inside is really relaxed, bright, clean and basically all of the things that you expect from a taqueria. I was so quick to order a michelada, that I didn’t scroll further on the menu to see it made with Corona and accidentally ordered the Heineken, never the less, it was perfect. The spice level was exactly how it should be. The tacos were absolutely, hands down, the best taco I have had living in the Netherlands. The carnitas meat was so juicy, even after I was full, I still wanted to eat more. I definitely recommend having the mezcal, either in margarita or as the digestif. I honestly want to eat everything on the menu, and I can’t wait to go back! Last but least, the service was amazing, such big smiles from everyone working, helpful on questions about drinks, just so wonderful! Thank you!

Amazing staff and service. The freshness quality and flavor just is out of this world (except mexico ofcourse). I havent eaten as this tasty mexican food in europe. Its authentic and very grounded in flavor. The inherent flavor from even food item such as starter, tacos and main dish is mindblowing. I would visit here again just for the food provided

Been here twice now, but could honestly eat here daily if my budget would allow it :') expect brilliant fusion tacos that's give off an authentic vibe. Cocktails are great as well. I wish I could've taken a picture, but the tacos simply won't last that long.

This was honestly the best Mexican food I have ever had. Everything tasted delicious and fresh! Special recommendation: Take the surprise dinner as a big group which gives you the possibility to try a great variation of the menu!
