The taste is normal like street food shop. Only self service is available. Not worth the amount spent

In recent days, the standard of hot chips food is deteriorating.. bought a paneer butter masala parcel for chapathi.. tasted like old preparation and very very sweet.. felt like eating chapathi alone would suffice than spending on this gravy.. please improve to your old standard and quality and taste

Poor response.doesnt know what to give and what they have prepared.I have ordered food last month. Out of three items I ordered, only two has come.When asked the response was poor.The management didn't take the responsibility.Similarly today when I ordered they gave the wrong parcel.Food is good but service is poor.Please don't do this to the valuable customers.

Please taste anything before selling something and ask your conscience whether this food taste good before selling it. I ordered 2 dishes one is sambar rice and another is chzwan fried rice. Sambar rice was really good but the chzwan rice was so effing bad that I had to throw it away. I gave 2 stars because the sambar rice was good or else it would be just 1 star

This a pretty decent restaurant. We had breakfast. The food quality and quantity was good. Only issue is, its self service. Rest are good.

The man at the counter doesn't know what on the menu is available and what not. Unclean atmosphere. Need to be more clean and tidy.

Decent food at a prime location. There will be a limited crowd whenever you visit and it is self-service. It is a quick food restaurant and so you only have limited options of food which is fine as it is targeted at daily customers. Sometimes they take so much time due to limited employees. I went on a Sunday and I had to wait 15 mins for a Coffee as there was only one employee who was busy serving food and there was no one to take care of Coffee section

Worst place to eat. You can find better place near.

Restaurant 's staffs service to be improved, to fullfill the public's requirements. Note: There is no table service only SELF-SERVICE (We had mini masal Vada with 2 kinds of chutney & sambar. It is warmer and crispy and nice taste. We had taken as starter.)

Not great but an average restaurant . But I do like their coffee .. !! Its a place where you get the best Coffee in Chennai.

Worst experience. Came to Hot Chips buffet here with family. Totally waste of money. Food was also not tasty. Menu was also limited. Hygienic serving methods weren't followed. Proper spatula for serving food wasn't available. Naan and Chips were are served by bare hands only without any gloves and all. Items were also not refilled on time. There was not even 1 person available the whole time to administer the food availability and serve the customers. Ice cream was also refused stating stock got over but when we said that we wanted to meet the manager, ice cream suddenly became available. Food is also very mediocre. It was as if eating in a Charity food camp but the only difference is we've to pay ₹200 for even such mediocre food. Never going to visit this place again. P.S: Even as I'm writing the review and taking a picture to prove my point, no one was available and no one cared about the review also. My experience was very very bad here. Hope Hot Chips notices this review and improves it's quality, standard and Hygiene.

The price of food is affordable, We had Breakfast (idly), expecting it to be a bit smooth.

we were given parcel , when we ordered for eating ... parota was not fresh ... after we moved , the cleaning lady swiftly came turned the used tumblers up side down.

Online delivery. Lunch.worst food no taste no salt bland food no pappad no pickles it appears that at Velachery people are considered to be tasteless animals by business people. Lunch was spoiled. but low cost cheap food.

Worst experience ever. Too costly not worth the taste and Service. It is self service but while eating we remind for a coffee, which we already paid. While eating they are asking us to come and take it. Cheap attitude can't even consider that we came with the baby in hand, with the baby we went to collected our coffee, and billing person attitude is worst in velachery branch.

Went for lunch. Not crowded; only 3 or 4 people.. very slow service. Limited variety but tasted well and served hot (self service). Will not go with family; but wouldn't mind to go alone for a quick lunch.

On 17.12.22 we went to this hotel We ordered some food. One employee checked the taste of coconut chatni by licking by left hand in front of us and not wash his hand and do another one food process We are stunded and asked cashier to educate the employee for hygienic In our mind comes don't go to this hotel again Request hot chips management to take care about hygienic and educate the employees properly thanks

Had Veg Rice, Noodles, Hot chips special biriyani, chilli panneer fry, mushroom masala, shezwan fried rice. The rice felt undercooked in all the rice dishes. Noodles was some what ok. Panneer fry could've been better. Overall was not happy with both quality and quantity. ₹ 700

Worst Quality and taste. Used to be a fan of hotchips and went with that thinking. The kids and myself who eat in hotchips got food allergy. Request the food officials to look at the quality and cleaniness

Need to improve Brightness of the hotel and ambiance of the dinning area....Look like incompleteness.....Entrance of the hotel hard looking...Good Area section but need to improve hotel atmosphere...put some Senior staff person to handle crowd

The quality of food is really good. I have observed that the prices on zomato/ swiggy are higher than that of dine-in prices.

Food is good. Tasty with adequate portions. Reasonable price. One needs to be patience during peak hours. I can't comment on quality. I doubt there is any tight process in place around that. Saw a counter girl touching the food with bare hands I don't know what she was trying to do. I don't have full context to be conclusive.
