Excellent food with great pricing. The bone marrow and beef fillet were good. Wine choices are excellent too. Ask for recommendations.

I had a dinner with my 8y old kid, everything was great! The food is tasty and fresh and the staff is very kind and helpful! all tables were booked, but we told them that we are staying only one hour and they allowed us to stay for this time. Served grilled beaf and chicken and the food was perfect!

I travel a few times to Boulogne for work each year. I discovered Chez Max et Nico last year and it has now become my favorite. This visit was no different. The food was not just delicious but artfully presented. The zucchini/mint/goat cheese soup was flavorful and had me guessing how to prepare this at home. I had the Vegetarian fun that I would rename vegetarian yum. There was so much texture from the creamy eggplant to the crunch of the tiny radish cubes and lentils. The veggies were well prepared, leaving them still Al dente and not a soggy mess. It was filling and I did not have room for dessert. I was alone but saw how the staff took time to make 2 young diners welcome. Bravo! I will be back.

We arranged for my mother and father in law to visit this restaurant as a birthday treat while they were in Paris. That was 2 weeks ago and they can't stop talking about it. Below are a few words from them. chez max et nico was an amazing Birthday experience - a really warm welcome by staff - and table by the window with a superb view. The chef came to our table to discuss menu options - and wow the food was good - wine and timing of courses just right for the occasion. Well worth a visit!

Very good price for the quality of the food. Had a surprising and very tasty smoked beef tatar and a veru good chocolate mousse. Will definitely come again.

You must go there! You feel that passion is there everywhere. The owners are showing it in a very good quality and creative good and with their friendly approach always giving the right recommandation.

Delightful place the be in. Tasty food and very well presented. The wine collection is amazing; do try the Chateau de Lionne if you like red wine. The boeuf Bourguignon was delicious as was the chocolat en mousse. Max et Nico are very friendly and know their menu and clients.

This place exists so the word magnifique is not forgotten. Simple but beautifully served, nice touch every time, friendly staff and cosy space. If you think about it, stop, just come over.
