Sorry, but never more. Standard block of flat with rooms on 1st and 7th floor, plastic bathroom in room. Very small table, smaller than my laptop. Plus is parking on opposite site of road of hotel. Swiss accommodation is generally very expensive

We were given a room on 7th floor but the lift only went till 6th floor. We were not warned of this when asked for different room they refused. So before going ensure it. Room was very small (pics of it did not give us the idea of its size)and washroom was like airplane ones. Again a shock. Rooms were hot and stuffy. No kettle or tea things were provided. Not a good stay. Stay away. After check in no one was available for any help. Stay away.

Dans une régions où les palaces inabordables sont nombreux, il est agréable de pouvoir quand même séjourner à quelques minutes à peine en train de Montreux. Un arrêt de bus est situé juste à côté de l’hôtel et sinon la gare est à 10/15minutes à pied. Les chambres sont très simples, la salle de bain est en mode cabine mais c’est propre et la literie est confortable. Simple & efficace. Le petit dej est complet boissons chaudes, viennoiseries, pains, céréales, yaourts … en bref, nous avons donc passé un bon séjour :)

Appreciated the kindly reception from the front desk man as well as the information he provided to be helpful. We thought that he seems like a sweet man. The room itself unfortunately smelled pungently like urine to me, with the sheets also smelling like possibly smoke even though the hotel is smoke free. The bathroom smelled even worse. Even my partner who has a poor sense of smell could tell. We were both itchy throughout the night. The walls could do with a lick of paint and the floor was a sight. Very hot even with fan provided (which was appreciated, thank you), so we opened the window but there was loud bass from music until at least 4 in the morning. Some of the clientele staying at the hotel were questionable including one couple (?) that decided to park across two spaces and then push our car door shut while we were unloading and then proceed to walk up the stairs behind us at a proximity too close for comfort. The parking lot requires driving down a bit of a short alley where groups of men with children hang out and there are lots of people on balconies that stare down from adjacent apartments while you unload. The view from room(s) where the lake and mountain can be seen seem decent though.

Very nice but simple hotel when you need a location to stay without all the luxury and steep price. Will be my go-to for the times I am staying for a night in Vevey
