Really cool place with affordable beer and great music. I also did not meet any other tourists here which was a huge plus! Really enjoyed my time here!

This place is great if you are in the area after midnight and want a drink. The prices are moderate, there's a huge choice of spirits (especially regarding whisky!) and service is friendly usually. Unfortunately smoking is still allowed which, while adding to the atmosphere, can be annoying.

A hidden gem with reasonably priced drinks. Enjoy a warm summer evening (and perhaps a peek at the sunset-colored sky down the street if you're lucky) on the terrace, or seek shelter from the cold rain in the cosy interior -- either way the kindness of the staff will make you feel welcome. I'll be back!

Very cozy little bar in the near of the shopping mile, but a bit hidden in a parallel street. Fast and very nice bar women and tables on the outside and inside. Fair prices, good beer and nice music lead to a perfect surrounding for an evening with friends.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I go very often and I had pretty amazing and fun nights over here: the drink selection is great and the people are very nice! But (and this is a big but) I found the smell of smoke very annoying.. It says with you and your coat forever!! I would love to see this place without this "inconvenience"..

This is my kind of place. You meet good people. You get to drink beer at a good price (cash only) and you will have good time. If I lived in this city this place would be my to go place for a beer and to hang out with friends.

Dark, unadulterated bar with a wide selection of soft, mixed and alcoholic drinks on offer. Wonderful cocktail selection too. We spent over 3 hours in here surrounded by locals, and will definitely be returning on our next visit to Vienna 😌

Great spot for a drink if you're looking for cozy vibes and cool music! The bartender was very nice and found us a spot to sit despite the busy Saturday crowd. Lots of great beers and I'd recommend the watermelon spritz if you're not a beer drinker.

Cocktails at an affordable price and the team is really nice and caring. The homemade cocktails are actually really tasty. Good for spending a nice night and staying a while.

The whiskey selection was excellent. The hosts were very helpful. I was there in the early evening and it was a very relaxed place to sit outside and enjoy some sipping wiskey.

I love Vienna... Visit here whenever I can and this bar is one of the things I love, always a good mix of people, friendly bar staff and great tunes. Pretty reasonable prices is a nice bonus too!

Nice location but getting served by screaming pubescents is not my thing.

Don’t get too comfortable if you’re a party of 2. You’ll be forced out by the greedy owner if a bigger group comes in. Man, I always used to say: let’s go to Stehbeisl, it’s the best! Until last night when we were thrown out because a bigger group came in. And the owner was extremely rude. We were 3 people, had 4 beers and 2 teas, and I was drinking occasionally tap water from my own bottle. The third person left, a group of 5-6 maybe came in, we had no more beers, actually talking about ordering some more, and I took a sip of water from my bottle, and the owner came straight to us and told me I shouldn’t be drinking drinks from the outside of the bar. I said: but it’s just water. He shook his hand and said we need the table and sent the waitress with the check. Which was around about 30€. Bottom line is, you chose the worst way possible to tell us you need the table, you were rude and frankly ungrateful. And it’s sad, because now I can never go back to Stehbeisl.
