Very friendly atmosphere and good variety of drinks, including Guinness! They even have a SNES mini, just ask for the controller if you want to play. Recommended!

Couldn't recommend Vulcania more! The staff are awesome, the music is great, drinks are well priced, and the atmosphere is excellent. Our favourite place to come to in Vienna. Thank you, Dominic! Let us know if you're ever in South England.

The pub is nice and the beer was good and cheap. Sadly, we went there to listen to some rock/metal, that we couldn't hear at all outside, so we went inside. After we switched our spot to listen to some music, it was not "adequate" to the pub (but maybe it was just bad luck). I wouldn't say that the bartender was rude, but she was a bit arrogant and not very friendly...

Me and my friend came to have a drink on Halloween night and we felt not welcome at all, the staff was really antipathic and rude, looking at us in a very hostile way, even though we tried to seem as friendly and polite as possible. Also when we tried to order beers at the bar asking if paying by card would be possible the barmaid told us "Not possible" in a contemptuous way and just went away leaving us, to avoid !

We just wanted to stop by for a short drink but ended up staying for roughly 4 hours. Great atmosphere, very nice people, awesome service, good drinks and just a memorable time. ☺️😊 Thanks Jenny!!! 🙏🏼

Don‘t like to write reviews about the workers but behavours need to change sometimes… Ordering a Radler but getting a warm Wieselburger is normally not the biggest problem. Said just nevermind, it happens. But looking for a service, guy is sitting/smoking outside with his friends all the time. If you are lucky, he looks around and you get a service. Looks like not the place to go, sit and enjoy. We felt really uncomfortable and like we ruined his good time, sorry…

The only open bar that we could find that was playing Rock/Metal music so that's a big tick, plus the barman Dominic gave a great service. Would recommend.

I first came here in 2019 and met Domenik, Adrian & Eva when checking out rock bars. I was made so welcome I spent most of the next ten days in Vienna in Vulcania. After a four year break I came back to meet up with them and it was like I’d never been away! Had a great night on the Tegenseer beer and had Eva dancing on the bar. Haven’t been that drunk for a long time. Awesome place if you want rock vibes!

Nice pub. No smoke free area's. The staff are friendly.

Negative point: the servers are not traders because after 6 glasses, we were not offered a drink or shot. We had the feeling that the tourist is not welcome. Positive point: good rock atmosphere.

Pleasent place and very good prices for Wien. We did not know why, but we paid less for the big beer than for small. Maybe was some action and we didn't know. Good music inside, if you like good rock music evergreen. You can see it on the photo 😁

Small bar near to Schwedenplatz Ubahn station. Drinks ok, but very variable staff unfortunately. Trying to be fair, but it takes away from the overall experience.

I was taunted because I did not order alcohol but an ice tea that cost 50 cents less than the drinks instead, unprofessional and flat out poor-minded. Toilets were labeled in such a confusing way that even some Austrians were not sure were to go

Brilliant pub, with great music, especially rock and metal. Domi the manager will your best friend from the first drink, and the rest of the staff are very friendly. Great place to have a beer and meet new friends. Cheers beutiful people.

7/16 after 10pm. Drinks were great, and atmosphere was awesome, and server was best we have had in Vienna! Wanted to try Philosph but service was too good to leave. Tipped 25%. 7/17 around 9:00pm Came the next night after dinner for a relaxed time around 9pm. Server challenged the fact that we were here the previous night demanding cash payment immediately because I did not remember the wheat beer I had last night, “saying there is only 2 on menu”when Schneider Weisee and Hacker Pschorr are both on menu. Then proceeded to do shots with friends in front of us. Entire outdoor guests left immediately due to rude bartender. Tipped 0%. Demeanor completely changed when boss/owner appeared to show up. Bar is great value, but feel out the bartender before you enjoy. So sad a place this awesome doesn’t know their bartender is running off customers to party with his friends.

a place that seems welcoming and yet the waiter is aggressive when you approach the tables, I literally got yelled at in front of everyone after asking a simple question about the places...

Great bar! Good music, staff is friendly. I had a great time there! Will definitely go back soon.
