Lovely boutique hotel in the heart of the museum district. Included buffet breakfast is first rate and the staff were helpful and very pleasant . We were upgraded to a superior room which is still a modest size by North American standards but it had a Juliet balcony overlooking the tree lined street which was a nice feature. The Only thing missing was a second mirror. The one above the bathroom sink quite small and high so you can only your face - can’t check your outfit! Would definitely stay here again .

A great, spacious and clean room. Hotel staff was amazingly friendly. The location can't be beat, close to a subway/bus/tram station, close to hop on hop off bus stop, tons of dining around, walk to all kinds of attractions and completely safe. I loved Vienna and will definitely be going back, when I do I will 100% be staying at Hotel Das Opernring again. I want to go right now!!!

We had a large room and a comfortable bed. The hotel is located in a great spot in the center of the city with many sightseeing highlights around the area. The staff at the reception was very friendly to us. The only issues we had was the boring view from our room and the somewhat dirty TV remote control.

We stayed two nights here and got a free upgrade to a junior suite twice the normal size. It was huge and clean, though the hotel itself feels a bit aged now. The bathrooms are clean and the amenities are very good, so we had a good stay and the location across from the Opera House.

Had a great stay here. The receptionist at check in was very kind and helpful, and this continued throughout my stay. The air conditioning was a blessing during the hot days. WiFi was reliable and fast. Breakfast was delicious and in a gorgeous setting. If you’re looking for a hotel in Vienna near tourist sites, great restaurants, and public transportation, this is it!

Very nice hotel in a super central position, walking distance to Stephendom and near a big station of the underground with 2 different lines - it means access to all the city. The staff is super welcoming and nice, the rooms are tide and warm. Plus, the breakfast is very interesting with many options sweet and savory. Just one thing to mention: ask for a room at the upper floors. There is a club nearby, we were at the mezzanine floor and the first night had an hard time falling asleep because of that...the second one we were just too tired after walking all around Wien ;) enjoy!

Perfect location, very good breakfast. Rooms are rather 3* than 4*. Personal is helpful and nice. Price is reasonable for such level of services. I can recommend this hotel.

Nice quaint hotel with nice helpful staff! Breakfast includes all essentials for a nice hearty meal...eggs, croissants, breads, cheeses and meats, jams, honey, juices, fruits, cereals... great little place in the heart of action. You can walk to all major monuments including the famous Opera

The desk people are super friendly and very helpful. The breakfast has really great options and a great view of the opera house. And it is a 5-10 minute walk to so really great places (Hero's Square, the Opera House, Parliament, the National Library, etc) We were very pleased with our stay!

We enjoyed staying in this hotel from 28-30th October 2017. Excellent location, good sized room, very clean bathroom make stay very comfortable. Opposite to Opera House, and shopping street of City Center makes this hotel very close to places of happening. Reasonably good breakfast is included. Only negative point is that Airport Bus service is available after a walk of 20 minutes. People in Front Desk are very friendly and helpful! Otherwise overall, 'Value for money'!!
