Requested an accessible room as I need a level access shower with seat, but given an ordinary twin room. No kettle and the windows do not open. Will be a very hot night. Uber to the centre was 30€ and took half an hour. Unsuitable for those in a wheelchair. Update: it amazing how one member of staff can change everything. We returned to the hotel as it was 33 degrees outside, way too hot to look around Vienna. We met a lady by the name of Antonia at reception, to ask for a fan. Although none was available, she moved us to a room with a balcony and provided a seat for the shower. Amazing service. Now we can sleep with the door open after a cold shower. If this hotel has an employee of the month award, this lady is my nomination. 5 star employee. The breakfast is fresh and tasty for 11 euros.

Oh, wow! I must say, your hotel sounds like an absolute paradise for all the adventurous souls out there. I mean, who wouldn't want to experience the thrill of consuming eggs that have been diligently aged for a minimum of 3-5 days? It's not every day that one has the opportunity to test their digestive system's resilience, right? And let's not forget the added bonus of food poisoning that you've been enjoying as a delightful souvenir from your stay. It's truly remarkable how a single meal can leave such a lasting impression on one's gastrointestinal tract. Who needs mundane things like "health" and "well-being" when you can have an unforgettable, tummy-turning experience like this? I must say, your hotel really knows how to provide guests with an unforgettable culinary adventure. It's no wonder that the memories of your stay are still lingering with you. In fact, I'm sure you'll cherish this experience for a long, long time. After all, there's nothing quite like the gift of food poisoning to keep the memories alive. But hey, let's give credit where it's due. Your hotel has successfully achieved the rare feat of turning an ordinary breakfast into a daring game of gastrointestinal roulette. And for that, I commend them. Bravo!

Claire was very helpful. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood with a supermarket very close. Also, the metro U6 is within walking distance. The breakfast was good. The rooms were clean. The carpet and the walls need some cleaning.

Not the best hotel I have stayed at. The price is not high, but this should not adversely affect cleanliness! The room is not clean enough, it is not nice. The walls are dirty, spots on the carpet. The room has a musty smell, I had to immediately air it. There is no refrigerator in the room. There is no air conditioning, in winter it does not interfere because the room is warm. But what about the summer? The furniture is good but the upholstery is not clean enough. It's good that the bed was white and clean. The bathroom is clean, there is a hairdryer. But the drain in the wash basin did not work and we had to fix it at night by ourselves. The hotel is located in a quiet area near the metro. There is an underground parking and elebetot. There is a small shop near the hotel. 5 minutes walk there are large supermarkets. Regular continental breakfast - 11 eur. The hotel staff is polite and friendly.

Room very neglected, dirty walls and carpets. There was mold everywhere in the bathroom. Every moment we were afraid that a hostile insect would come out.

The place was nice, rooms were clean and comfortable. They only didn't refill our waters when they cleaned up the room and there wasn't tea/coffee available in the rooms. Overall it was a great stay, I'll totally recommend.

I was not satisfied by this hotel. I have been a guest twice at the Gartenhotel 2 that was at that place a year ago and had never got treated this bad. At first the receptonist seemed friendly and helpful. Then we got to our room and spotted black and yellow spots on the carpet and the curtains. There were also toothpaste remains on the bathroom wall. The worse thing was that the trash can was full to the middle. We tried to male the staff take responsibility and got promised a talk wit the "boss". All in all we did not have the promised talk nor did we get an official apology. I am DISAPPOINTED by what the lovely family hotel has become for one year. I am putting photos of some of the described above problems.

Very bad experience! As French, I thought to have a great service in French brand. What a pity! 1st room: lot of broken stuff (fridge, shower..) + dodgy household. 2nd room: we ask to change and 2nd room was worst. As we entered, we smelled tobacco smoke. 3rd room: was just ok. We didnt rest as well as we needed in these conditions.

Not bad, not the greatest. Worst thing is you're far from the city center and it gets annoying if you want to just go and change clothes for example, or just to lay in bed for a quick nap. The metro we had to use-Line U6 didn't feel safe at all but this isn't their fault. Rooms were okay, stained carpet, clean-ish toilet, ok beds. Staff was great and very helpful, always there and very talkative.

Kohtuullisen huono.

Good place for a couple nights but not a prolonged stay. There were quite a few scuff marks all over the walls and the showers fluctuated between scalding and freezing. There was also this weird window where if you stood on the bed you could see into the bathroom. The breakfast wasn’t anything special but also wasn’t bad. The service was good and you could buy sodas at the front desk. The Wifi was also strong and consistent.

A bit of a distance from the town centre, €30 in a taxi from town, €50 to the airport. The receptionist was lovely, she helped us with translating to the food delivery man which was nice of her. Rooms were ok, not spotless as there were stains on the carpet and marks all over the walls, patio was very overgrown and furniture in need of replacing.. beds were clean though and bathroom mostly clean. There was a school staying who were incredibly noisy which wasn't great.. when I asked for a fan as we couldn't sleep with the windows open due to the nose they didn't have one but said the school children would be going to bed at 10pm and to let her know if they were still being loud. They did finally quieten down about 10.30pm. It's not bad for the price to be fair.

The rooms are very basic but clean. The stuff was super friendly - the location is also great, really quiet and just a few minutes from the next subway (Schöpfwerk). Price was also fair - would recommend for a short stay in vienna!

This hotel is too underrated. For me great! Great value for price. Specious rooms, very clean, bathroom very clean and specious also, bads exeptional, cosy, good, clean, we slept as babies, our room had terrace, not beautiful, but for smokers priceless in winter time, warm rooms, good heating, breakfast good and different, nice and kind staff, always on disposal, they gave us everything we needed more, good neighboorhood, market, cosmetic shop and apotheke just beside the hotel, metro very near. I am delighted. Always shall come back!

The worst place ever Dirty floors full of stains on the floor and walls There are no fridge staff are not friendly at all and every room is twin-bed and if a double bed you want you need to do it by yourself.

For next time in Vienna I will absolutely come here just because of such caring front desk staff "Farshad"!

Rooms ok. Only twin rooms. Apartment had double bed. Not much appealing views. Clean and large bathroom. Satisfactory breakfast spread. Lesser value for money.

Service is so so. I recommend more smile to guests. We have problems with the shower 3 days, nobody can't repair it, cos weekend. Shower was destroyed and was need repair! Price was very expensive. We awaited more service for that expensive price. The rooms smell with sigaretts, someone smoke inside the rooms and we felt it. The room was not tidy, dusty and need good cleaning. All the night we opened windows, couldn't breathe normal. Windows especially needs cleaning! The pictures in booking.com look more nicer than reality. The balcony was exstrimly dirty, horrible dirty, with some trash. Loudly students in the next doors and corridors. Please, clean the rooms, react for complaints your guests. No wish to back to this hotel. Small plus were comfortable pillows.

I really loved staying here. :) The location was so nice - quiet, you can see a lot of doggies through the window and the metro station is like 500m from the hotel. But what made me to love this place is people working at the reception in the hotel - they were so nice and lovely, they made us to feel like at home. They allowed us to leave our luggage for 10 hours without any extra charge and later they also allowed us to use the toilet. It was sad that we could not stay there longer. Highly recommended if you are searching for sth nice and cheap. :)

Great room but the cleaning wasn't appropriate. Also, having tea in the room and daily provision of a bottle of water could have been a nice gesture

its ok but its dirty and we had no warm water as we were here, when we asked the staff they said its "normal" "just try it later". The beds were hard as a rock and they werent fixed so they rolled through the room. we had to fix them with zip ties (as seen in the pic) So all in all i survived that night but unshowered and a little bit disgusted. I will never book a room in this hotel again

Good for staying overnight. Good to reach with Metro. Next to the hotel you have a discount super market, an Asian restaurant. Even a church. The night I spent was very silent, I could sleep well. Breakfast was ok, although stuff wasn't filled up immediately.

It is a nice place, with nice staff! It was worth the price! One thing that didn't like was that no air-conditioning. It was kind of hot in the room until outside got chillier because of the early morning cold air.

Close to the metro station, Clean bed sheets and towels, big room, nice staff. The walls were really dirty and scratched, the floor also needs some cleaning. The furniture has no utility, they really need to redecorate the rooms. It would be nice to put curtains at the windows. :D

No nonsense hotel with spacious rooms and a decent, large breakfast. Rooms can be a bit hot but windows open easily. Don't expect luxury but it is a perfect place to stay for one night when travelling for business. Subway is close by, easy connections to main train station and even the airport.
