We stayed 6 nights at this lovely hotel. We arrived at the hotel around 9 am hoping to leave our luggage because it’s way before our check in time. The man at the reception was extremely friendly and helpful. He gave us our rooms right away which we really appreciated. The rooms were very small but clean and nice. The location was amazing. 5 minutes walking distance to the subway station, many many restaurants around the hotel that open at least till 10.30pm and grocery stores to buy alcohol. If u like to walk alot you can also walk to one of the hop on stations to the hop on hop off city bus. The location felt safe even to walk late in the night. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

I love Ibis out of all the Accor Group the most. Best price and most comfortable beds. The rooms are small but space is overrated when it comes to a good sleep. Ibis City Vienna is located beautifully at the Vienna channel. I wish it was better connected with public transports.

The location is undeniably excellent. It is located near to underground station, line U1, which pretty much allows you to access most of the important attractions in Vienna. As for the room, it provides the most basic needs you'll require for a stay. The cleanliness is perfect. However, the price is way too high for the quality they've provided. To do them justice, it is probably because of peak season when I went. Still, I think it is way too expensive and not compatible with the quality of the room. They did not even provide a bin in the room, which is strange because you'll have to throw all your waste to your toilet bin. Also, the hair dryer they provide is incredibly terrible. The breakfast they provide is decent as the price is reasonable. If you are thinking to get a breakfast during your stay, be sure to go early because they started to keep the food half an hour before they actually close.

Low price, but clean room with all most important amenities, friendly staff. Only bad sides for this price and chain standard - window curtain was torn and hair dryer was melted - but that were just small details and were not key for economy travel.

Great location, near U line, market Spar, quick reception formalities, quite strange elevator but OK, large room with nice view, small desk, TV, easy self setting of air-conditioning , bathroom was OK, great fragrant hand wash gel, towels... we had no problem.

Well breakfast was expensive to me so I personally just went outside to a market and pay 2/3 euros and get like the same you can get for 15 euros in the hotel. Apart from that all good.

Friendly employees and great customer service Location is ok, 10 minutes walk from the metro station, but from that metro station, you usually need to switch two metro lines in one way to get to almost every tourist location. Like all Ibis hotels, it is comfy and good value for the money, but this hotel could be cleaner. If you are a tourist in Vienna, I would recommend the other Ibis Hotel, Ibis Hotel Mariahilfer, which is in a much better location with better connections. You can visit lots of locations by foot, and here you need to use public transportation.

I stayed at the ibis hotel for three nights and I was very satisfied with my experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, the check-in and check-out process was smooth and fast, and the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located near the city center and public transportation and offers a variety of services and amenities, such as free WiFi, a 24-hour bar, and a buffet breakfast. The price was also reasonable and affordable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality and budget-friendly accommodation.

The rooms are clean and well maintained. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful. Great location, about 5 minutes from the subway, the grocery store is also nearby. I highly recommend :)

I had a lovely stay at this hotel and can recommend it. It’s about a 5-7 min walk (depending on how fast you walk) to either of the two metro stations. If driving, there is a parking garage (looked like it) but once you’ve arrived, it’s probably better to take the metro into the city. I had friends staying at another sister hotel and their room was a little smaller. My room was spacious, had everything I needed and the bathroom had a large shower stall. Very nice indeed. Breakfast was good. The buffet spread had a bit of everything - good selection of fresh breads, freshly baked up croissants, pastries, müsli, cheeses, cold cuts, bacon and eggs, warm drinks, juices…They also had a waffle bar which was a lovely idea but gave the poor staff more unnecessary work cos the guests kept messing it up. :) Everyone whom I came into contact with was very nice. A tip if you need a quiet room. Ask for one. I got one facing the inner courtyard. Of course you will have no view and it’s not so bright but it’s super quiet cos you only have one neighbor who will hopefully be quiet. :) Suited me fine. This is a budget category hotel and I was happy with the quality and the service I got.

Nice rooms, friendly staff, plenty of food shops in the area, about 40minutes walk to the city center which can be a bit far for some, there is an underground station about 5minutes walk from the hotel which you can get direct to the center and to many of the main attractions, if you book a public transport ticket in advance it only costs 17.50 for 7 days use of any public transport.

  • 3/5 Lamuccastabene 5 months ago on Google
Room nice and big but at the back you can hear the metro going by. Staff not particularly welcoming. Great to have a garage available in that location.

It has much less facilities than other ibis hotels. Actually, no refrigerator, no tea/coffee and no safe at room. It is just a bed and a chair! Not all staff at the reception are friendly! The nearest metro station is at least 500 meters away.

Probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The location is ok, close to two metro stations, but the neighbourhood doesn't offer much. The staff are mostly unhelpful, making funny faces when you complain about something. Only one staff member really tried to help us, but we got the impression that he was working against his superiors. The rooms are small and not very modern. They don't seem to clean the floor under the beds. The water in our bathroom did not drain properly, so the whole floor turned into a lake after a shower, and it took them two days to fix it. Breakfast was rather modest. The only thing really worth recommending are the waffles you can make yourself for breakfast.

Good hotel, better staff. Our original room was sweltering and we were facing the street so we couldn't open the window. Front desk moved us to an inner courtyard room at 11 pm and gave us two fans for the room. The ladies serving breakfast were also amazing. A little outside of town but a quick metro ride to the center.

If I had the chance to visit Vienna, I would stay in the same hotel. Its location is simply great, 7 minutes walk from nearest Ubahn station Pilgramgaße. Very near to city centre where all attractions are. Very close within minutes to nearby grocery store, laundry store, cafés, pubs, and bus stops. You can walk to many restaurants around the location. The room was basic, yet very clean. The staff are very friendly, but sometimes they occupy the lift during morning time. So, if you are there for work, plan your lift trip ahead because it can be very busy. The breakfast was lovely, despite no huge change in day to day food offered. I loved the waffles bar though.

The hotel was ok and we had a nice check in, thanks to the lady at reception however in the evening there was a guy at reception who acts like the owner of the hotel, not friendly at all with some attitude He refused to help at everyone we ask for help. My son dropped his shoes from the window which got stuck in front of room 114 window, we asked him to help and he saw the little one crying however with a very cold face he said sorry I cant help. You guys need to train him how to take care of your guests specially its called hospitality not hospital

Pleasant hotel with really helpful staff. Breakfast offered a good selection. Only downside was quite a walk from nearest railway station although underground stations are fairly close.

Basic hotel - clean and hot water with good pressure. Place to store bags when you check out. I was able to check in early. The staff were friendly and there is welcome water. No coffee/tea. Close to two subway stations.

Delicious breakfast, you could try to make waffles by yourself. Reception wasn't that much good. Not so much welcoming attitude. Room was standard ibis quality.

Great central location, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are spotlessly clean. I requested a quiet room and got a lovely peaceful location where I literally heard nothing. Breakfast was really good and kept being replenished so you always had full choice. Can't recommend this place enough.

Pretty good hotel! The decorations are pretty stylish and the room was very nice. We had a bathroom for disabled people, which was extra large in size. But there is a button next to the light switch which can easily be mistaken for the actual light switch. Believe me when i say: It is not. Long story short: Good experience!

Good hotel for 2-3 nights stay in Vienna. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Rooms have very limited lighting and are dark as compared to the wash room. Reception is very helpful. George at the reception is little bit arrogant but helpful. Lady in the reception in evening is very nice and helpful. Breakfast is good and has variety. Boiled eggs served cold when asked to heat them or make them warm then everybody looked at is as we are asking them something which is not possible? Hotel kitchen refused but we found out our way dipped then in hot water. Overall good stay. Check out Indian restaurant Tawa nearby run by a Delhi guy Bobby Chopra, excellent food.

For the price, a bit too basic. Small duvets, hand towel had to be requested at reception. Friendly staff and clean room.

Really nice hotel, looking very new and elegant, only a few meters from the main train station, but still very quiet place at the night. Really tasty breakfast, you can combine everything what you like. Kinda missing the fridge at the rooms. And at the reception the people were very nice and spoke also in english. Totally would recommend.

Room is nice and clean when we arrived but disappointed when there is no kettle or any coffee and tea amenities in the room. There room pictures on booking sites showing there is kettle on each room. We needed to ask downstairs for a hot water then brought it in our room in 6th floor. We went out the next day, when we came back in the afternoon the bed is fixed and we didn't asked for it. We are overwhelmed because we had our valuable things inside and the room was opened by the staff to clean, though we appreciate it because it was cleaned. But we only felt that we didn't have the privacy we needed for our holiday. The bed matress is okay a little bit hard, you can feel the pillow is old and you need to fold it so you can have a little comfy with it and only 1 pillow per person. Staff are friendly when it comes to questions about something like tourist spots etc. , but there's one staff that we asked him to smile to make the ambiance better. The breakfast buffet is okay for a €14 per person a day. Hair dryer power went out after 2minutes of using it, half of my hair is still wet because I have thick hair. All over experience with them is okay, the hotel is near to the train station Pilgramgasse and Margaretengurtel. Also near to the stores like Billa and Strap. Near to a lot of restaurants. I hope they will make little changes.

The staff was very nice and helpful, one of the best experiences I had with a hotel in the past years. The locatipn of the hotel is also good, approx 30 mins walking to the city center. The breakfast was tasty and the coffee was also quite good. The only thing I didn’t fully enjoy was the heat in the room (too hot for me), but the services were 5 stars!

Never again, just because the girl wanted to help but the syrian guy wouldn’t be helpful. I payed the the room but just because they didn’t receive the transaction immediately the guy told me he can’t help me. He was not even trying to be polite or helpful. I did stay in this hotel eventually.

We have stayed one night in the hotel. Besides the fact that my husband and I needed to ask for a additional sheet (the one provided by the hotel was a single one, although we had a double bed), unfortunately we forgot one white pair of pants on the bed. We have contacted the hotel the same day we left the property, just a few minutes we left it, just to let them know that we would be going back to the hotel in 10min in order to get the pants back, but the receptionist said they haven’t received anything from the housekeeping and that we would need to contact them again the day after. We said to them we couldn’t wait for the next day as we were leaving the country in one hour and the receptionist said that they couldn’t do anything, instead of trying to check if the pants had been left in the housekeeping room or at least contacting the housekeeping. Therefore I couldn’t get my pants back. So disappointing! Not good customer service at all! Never again!

Cozy hotel, nice area with lots of supermarkets and restaurants. Very close to metro and bus. Quiet and safe area around. The room was cleaned daily and the furniture was ok.

  • 5/5 Chloe T. 1 year ago on Google
Hotel is located approx 1.5 miles from the main attractions, but there is plenty of public transport around nearby. The room was big, airy and clean with a street view. The bathroom was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. Slightly disappointed that there was no kettle in the room despite the room pictures showing that upon booking. There is a laundrette across the road that is open until 10pm every day and is recommended. It's approx 80 minutes for a wash and dry. There are eating establishments nearby and 'JustEat' also deliver to the hotel too.

Good location, quiet and clean. Everything you expect from an Ibis. However the man who checked me in was extremely rude. The manager of the hotel apologised profusely the next day but it was a disappointing first impression.

  • 5/5 Christine L. 2 years ago on Google
Super friendly team and very helpful! The hotel is well located, close to public transport. The popular shopping street Mariahilfer Strasse can be easily reached even on foot. The rooms are very clean and offer good comfort. The breakfast buffet was also fully sufficient for us. We have never been disappointed and will stay there soon again!
