Good location and easy to get about the city. Poor attitude of some staff - we have chosen not to use the bar/restaurant and go elsewhere. Staff on desk could have been more informative but were quite pleasant. Rooms are pretty poor for a 4 star. And car park is for confident drivers - really steep and tight.

I stayed here for three nights during my stay in Vienna. Its extremely close to Wien Westbahnhof train station and tram station. The place is extremely close to all major types of commutes. Food is decent. Rooms are decent. Wheelchair accessible and Parking is available on the streets nearby.

Nice hotel and very friendly helpful staff, great buffet breakfast 5 star. Room OK but nothing special. No milk in room for tea! Position of hotel is near station and trams easy to get around. Small garden for smoking that has furry friends, rats. We laughed at this they didn't seem bothered. Lovely area to stay very busy. Vienna is not a cheap place to stay.

Poor, shabby and noisy hotel. The room I was in had a mirror just standing up the wall it used to hang on, at the bottom was a wood bar with sharp pins facing up (!), the furniture was dated with scratches, the TV old and bulky, and, worst of all, you could hear the neighbors talking, the WCs flushing, the bathing water rushing etc. So a lot of noises that kept waking me up. There was tee and coffee in the room, but no kettle to heat water... I asked in the reception, and was told it was an error from the housekeeping. The receptionist was alone at the time (around 7pm), so she could not bring one up before 11pm. However that did not happen. Only good thing to say, is that the bathroom were recently renovated.

I really really wanted to give them a good review because of a personal incident which elicited some exceptional customer service from the front desk. Alas, this hotel is old and falling apart. Doors won’t shut properly, there are limited charging points next to the bed, lights flicker, wall hooks are physically falling off, etc. Nevertheless, I agree with the rest of the Agoda AI review recommendation - The staff was friendly and helpful, making our stay enjoyable. The location was convenient, close to shops and within walking distance to the train station and bus/tram lines. The room was clean, with a comfortable bathroom. However, the amenities were limited. Overall, we recommend this hotel for its value for money and walkability.

Superb experience staying here. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the U3/U6. It’s also very accessible by the various trams. The room is quiet at night and very clean. There’s air-conditioning and the bathroom is well lit. Staff were very helpful with check in and also assisted to store luggage for a couple of hours so that we could explore the city more before our flight. They also have a luggage weighing device, just need to ask the staff at the check in desk to borrow it.

Big rooms , spacious and 5 minutes walk to train station. Lots of eateries around . Rooms don’t look luxurious , need a makeover . Same goes to toilets . Just decent for little over 100 euros a night.

The hotel is a "come&go" type, pretty crowded at any time of the day. It's a few minutes from the train station, but pretty far from the city center, if you go by foot. Even with the metro, you still go for about 20 minutes. The breakfast was good, diversified. Also, the hotel offers underground parking. Be very careful as you can scratch your car on your way in/out. It's a very tight squeeze. I was within millimeters from scratching my mirrors on my 3 series. The rooms are ok, but they lack AC or refrigerator. All in all, our stay was good, the hotel is good value for money.

I stayed twice in one week. Friendly staff, clean rooms, excellent breakfast, nice bar. The decor is a little dated and the number of easily accessible electricity sockets is limited in an era when we all have mobile phones, laptops and tablets. My single room was small, as expected. It had AC, which was a pleasant surprise but no kettle. The Hotel is two minutes walk from the Westbahnhoff station and this is served by the airport express bus that gets you from Vienna airport to Westbahnhoff in 40 minutes for E9.50. Westbahnhoff is well served by U-bahn and tram services. There is a very good traditional Austrian restaurant next door to the Hotel and a variety of food and retail outlets in and around the station; and an IKEA!

We stayed two nights in this hotel. The room was clean and well appointed. The hotel is well served by public transport.

Good location for transportation via West Bahnhof, close to underground and trams and also airport bus, very convenient. I and my friends stayed here for 4+1 nights. Our large luggages could be deposited here during going to Germany for a few days. An upgrade was made for platinum member with various complimentary drinks at minibar in the room. Although the hotel looked old but it was clean. Front desk staff was nice. Bar staff was kind to provide ice when we ask for.

A nice hotel for short and long stay in Vienna. Well connected to Tram 6,18 and U3 Metro to easily access all tourist places and city centres.

Location is good. Close to Mariahilfer, etc. The rooms are from a few decades ago, probably inherited from whatever hotel there was at this location before it became Mercure. Room was smallish, with nonexistent view. Staff was generally nice. Parking is horrible. Access to their garage is extremely narrow. We also had issues exiting as it seems the intercom doesn't work, so it required walking over to reception to clear up the matter, so they could open the ramp remotely.

I chose this hotel for our stay last week and I was more than pleased with it. The location is perfect, I simply love this area (Westbanhof) for the sheer number of transport options and connections. The rooms, while a bit dated, are pretty cozy, warm and very comfortable. The bath is also big and very clean. Overall the hotel is good and clean, perfect for a short or extended stay. I had one of the best breakfast in a long time, very diversified and plentyful. You can't simply beat this. I recommend this hotel. Will definitely be coming back.

I booked this hotel as it was near the Raimund theatre and just at street level opposite the train station. Added bonuses include rapid access to the city centre and the Airport connection train station at Landstrasse without needed to change U-bahn lines; and being next to a good sized shopping centre that had a Lidl meant getting essentials was really helpful. Standard stay, but some of the soft furnishings are in need of an update. Also, the mattress felt like it needed replacing.

One of the worst hotels under Accor Group. I'd even say "the worst one". Poor customer service, rude staff and they are unhelpful. That is the reason it is one of the cheapest hotel. It doesn't even deserve a 0 star. But there us no minus sign on the rating. Do not book this hotel. The staff is very rude, unhelpful. I presume it comes from an incompetent Management.

The hotel is commendable and well-maintained. Our experience in the corner room on level 6 during our 5-night stay was exceptional. Particularly noteworthy was the older housekeeping lady of Filipino background, who displayed outstanding qualities of respect, helpfulness, and accommodation. On the flip side, the reception staff appeared less informed about the Accor Hotels member scheme, specifically the AXA Insurance Benefits for Platinum members. Despite this, the overall impression is positive, making it a recommendable place to stay in Vienna.

The hotel had everything we needed, although the property is a bit old. The connectivity through metro/tram/bus is excellent. The westbahnhoff station is right next door, where you can also get good fast food. Melanie from reservations team was very very helpful and made our stay a happy one, we're grateful. Will recommend staying here, for budget travelers who don't mind a 15 min travel through public transport to reach City center.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at your establishment – truly outstanding. The facilities are top-rate and the service from staff was extremely outstanding. The staff I met/encountered from the front of house to the breakfast room did their job well with a friendly attitude and a smile. I will like to mention the Front Office Agents delivered an exceptional service as they went an extra mile in the course of their duties to the meet the customer’s needs. One example: They were able to suggest places of interest to visit and happily provided directions on how to get there. To the management – Kudos to your staff and well done for providing a good customer experience. Keep up the good work. I will definitely recommend your hotel to people and will certainly return for another stay when next I’m in Vienna.

Great location right next to the Westbahnhof. All transit options just across the street. There’s a pub/restaurant on the corner, and food outlets (supermarkets too) in the station. You can even walk into Old Vienna (2.5km) straight down Mariahilferstrasse, the main shopping street of Vienna. Hotel itself is clean and comfortable but a little undermanned at night - we asked for an extra pillow and were told it would take at least 2 hours (until 10pm) because the young lady on the desk was on her own.

Bad lighting in the bedroom/bathroom. Noisy/unstable bath tub floor. Everyday had issue with my card key to open the bedroom as it wasn’t working constantly during all my staying. The location is very good but not sure if I’d book this hotel again.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Good location, close to transport. We even walked to the canal and U-line back. Clean and bright room and windows opened so not too hot. Vienna tourist bus picks up across the road at the train station, also airport express bus which is convenient. Definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff are really nice and helpful. The location is AWESOME. and there’s a bathtub which is superb. BUT! The bed was low, mattress was so uncomfortable and the sheets and towels are all worn off and out. Kinda sad for such a great looking hotel. Also not many vegan options on the breakfast manu. :(

The room was very clean and had all the amenities necessary - a little fridge, a kettle, a blowdryer and they restocked tea / coffee bags daily! Wifi was strong and the lobby was warm and welcoming. Location- the hotel was a 5 minute to westbanhof station and travelling around the city was extremely easy with the day passes. Would definitely stay here again!

There seemed to be a difference of opinion on my stay arrangements Whd I checked in the receptionist confirmed my 7 nights stay and breakfast was included. On that basis I settled My bill. The first morning however when i went for breakfast was not included. I didn't get an invoice and indeed on checking out asked for the invoice to be emailed to me but it has yet to arrive. So i have no way of checking my stay details. Otherwise my stay was uneventful and my room was fine. .

Location is great but on Sundays, everything is closed, including the supermarket nearby. So be prepared if you are staying on a Sunday. Rooms are dated and small. The carpet was dark coloured, lights were dim, not suitable for long stay. Still acceptable if you are staying for a short while of no more than 3 days. It is walkable to city centre through a busy shopping belt. About 30 min walk. There is a 5 euros schnitzel at the start of the shopping belt, makes a very economical lunch.

I stayed in this hotel from 07.10.2022 and checked out on 10.10.2022. My room was very clean and the entire staff was so exceptionally welcoming and kind. I also didn’t encounter any issues despite that I solely speak English as reception is multilingual. I highly recommend this hotel to travelers. Thanks to all team members of hotel Regards, Birendra Kumar Singh

All in One room has no drinking water, no fridge, no aircon, no kettle - I upgraded to next room for extra charge but still need to pay for drinking water. Bog standard Mercure hotel. Staff on reception need to smile - your actually in the hospitality industry not tax collectors

Very close to Westbahnof station. Convenient to catch metro and trams. Reception and check in was smooth and easy. Good staff. Rooms were typical at this price range- comfortable but not luxurious. Age does show in rooms. Would consider staying again if need to be in the area.

Well located for the station, but about a 2-3km walk to the main city centre. Hotel was very basic - there was no kettle, no water and no air con in our room. They didn't even have a kettle that we could borrow. Overall an OK experience for one night, but would struggle for longer than that.
