The Website and available Information is a little confusing, so I will try to explain a little how this works. The Bus is either driving from Punta Cana to Santo Domingo with different exits in SD, or vice versa with different exits in Punta Cana. The two directions don't have the same stops. You always start at one single location where you also buy the ticket. You need to be there at least 30 minutes before start, else they might not sell you a ticket anymore. When you give them your luggage they will ask for your stop to put it in the right place. You will receive a ticket/voucher with a number that is also put onto your luggage, making sure that only you can get it back. When the bus approaches the first stops, someone will announce the next stop and who needs to exit. At that point you give them your luggage ticket back. Bus stops, you exit, get you luggage, done. Basically all nice and good, just a little confusing in the beginning.

The buses are clean and fairly comfortable. I used the bus from Punta Cana to Santo Domingo and back. The price is very reasonable (DR $450) for a 2.5 to 3 hour bus ride. If you are planning to visit Santo Domingo for 1-2 days I recommend taking this bus from Punta Cana.

Great way to travel to and from Santo Domingo to Bavaro-Puntacana. Pros: •They have multiples schedules ranging from 7am to 6pm • When you buy your tickets you can usually choose the number of seat you want to buy (just like a plane ticket). They tend to be comfortable but if you’re a really tall person I recommend that you ask them for numbers 19 and 20 that tend to have more space • Affordable prices (each seat it’s $450 RD which it’s roughly less than $10 usd) •They make multiple stops along the road, make sure to ask any of the bus staff, which one they will recommend taking into consideration your destiny. Cons: • You can only buy the tickets in the APTRA’s offices. They do not sell this ticket online but you can pay with credit card in their offices. • if you only buy one seat, you cannot control who is going to seat next to you. Sometimes you might get a family with a small child so take that into consideration and if you want to have the space by yourself, I will recommend you to buy two tickets that corresponds to two seats. • In seldom occasions due my encounter that the bus is going to stop for their immigration officers to search the bus for a Haitian nationals to be deported. Overall, this situation, even though it’s tense tends to run really smoothly.

It was good, after it please get a Uber. Taxis are really bad and will look to charge you like 10x times more than it should be. On my case Uber was like 2 usd for a short ride, Taxis wanted 20usd.

Nice cheap transportation. Very comfortable, but it is not an express bus. They will stop in every corner to drop off passengers, so it will make it a big long trip.

Comfortable, clean, and generally on time, but be prepared for 3 1/2 hours terminus to terminus as against 2+ hours by car nonstop. Be clear: there are TWO competing companies right next door to each other at the two terminal stops, APTPRA and Expreso Bavaro. We (family members) prefer APTPRA, where you can request a slightly more spacious upstairs seat. You can buy your ticket any time day of departure, and should board 5 minutes to departure time. Note, though, that the buses do sell out, so if you come shortly before bus time, you may end up on the following bus.

The tour bus was clean, comfortable and the tickets were reasonable. If you are interested on seeing other parts of Dominican Republic this would be a great and inexpensive way. It made several stops for drop off and pick up. Will definitely be doing another Road trip with this company again.

This review is for the bus stop itself. The employee who sold me the ticket did not have a friendly attitude. There is only one bathroom with one toilet which doesn't even have a toilet seat. The door is frosted glass so you basically feel naked and exposed to all the people waiting in line to use the bathroom.

Left over 20 min late. I watched the bus next door(APTPRA) drive away right at 3 pm which is when this bus was scheduled to leave. No wifi on the bus. I couldn’t find much info online on which company to take. Do yourself a favor and take the other company. Their waiting area is also nicer.

Super nice and comfortable buses. Too bad the last bus to and from Punta Cana is at 4pm. Bus is fast, but when entering Punta Cana or Santo Domingo slows down a lot by stopping everywhere.

DO NOT USE THIS TRANSPORTATION COMPANY IF YOU HAVE LUGGAGE. This transportation entity is not fit for travelers, tourist or anyone traveling with more than a hand bag. They want to charge me for anything extra. They want to hustle you for your money, is a hustling skeeme. I had the worst experience because I was able to travel with the same luggage from the Santo Domingo to Bavaro, from Bavaro to Higuey, but Higuey to Santo Domingo. That was the worsts feeling and experience I ever had for a transportation company.

Took the bus from Punta Cana to the capital. Bus was clean and comfortable with enough leg room. It had air conditioning and wifi. It was a smooth and hassle-free ride. The best part is that the seats are numbered just like airplanes, so you can reserve the seats you want and avoid a hassle when getting on.

I always get two seat at 450 pesos/under $10 usd each for a smooth and comfortable ride to the airport. They drop me off basically at the check in counter.

It is strange, there are 2 bus companies next to eachother. APTPRA the other one is called Punta Cana Express. APTPRA has the double decker buses, punta cana Express, a regular but good bus. That's the one we took, it was 45 min. delayed, and APTPRA left before us in time, at 1 pm. It took a while to get out of the city, there was another stop behind the main fire station. Before crossing the Ozama River. All in all the trip to the final station in Veron took 3 hours. The bus stopped also at Punta Cana airport and in Bavaro. There was a guy on-board who sold water and snacks. What was a little odd. But further all ok

We arrived really late at the station, but received help and got on without problem. The bus was clean & modern and the ride was smooth👌

Very adequate safe friendly bus service between Santo Domingo and Punta Cana; only problem is the seats are a bit too close together so if you are tall it is a bit uncomfortable

Used Bavaro Express bus. It was awesome. Bus was modern, cold, and had USB for charging. The Wifi was terrible though and also it took 5 hours to get from Santo Domingo to last stop in Bavaro beach because it makes a lot of stops once im Punta Cana

The bus is great, especially if you get the front window seats on the double decker. Takes about 3 hours. But be on spot 1 hour before to make sure you have a ticket cause they tend to get full, or buy your ticket in advance.

👍 We had mixed experiences with this bus service. We took caribe tours from Santo Domingo to Puerto plata and back. The ticketing process was pretty easy and quick. And the prices were about DR 500 Pesos per person one way and took almost four hours to get there. They have good seats with good leg spa...

😠 We hired a tour with POLARIS buggies for $125 instead of $70 for 6 people. We paid an extra $100 to make it private. When we arrived they gave us other NON-POLARIS buggies, destroyed. Additionally, the brakes and steering did not work. During the excursion they broke down several times and had to c...
