I was expecting a luxurious and full of historical place decorated with beautiful paintings, furniture, artwork, etc; nevertheless, it lacks character for a "presidential house". It is just a big house. Having said that, I still recommend it to anyone that hasn't visited yet. Outdoors is starting to look in the rough side and soon it will need some cosmetic work along with the garden areas.

It was an interesting experience. Nice seeing where past Mexican presidents lived. The park and gardens are nice, but the house, despite it being a big residence, it was VERY stripped down of its history. There's hardly anything on the walls, you can't sit on the presidential office chair for a photo, I think that's the least they could offer. No one to explain any details of the rooms. The older house, which is adjacent to the "new house," has paintings on the walls, and more furniture. Over all, it's something to see if you have the time and you can say you've been there.

Took my kids to see the mansions used by past Mexican presidents and they enjoyed everything of it. It's a must see place.

It's a place which brings many emotions for Mexicans, it remained hidden and then was opened for the public. The tour is short but it is impressive to see something it was not available for us until now. Worth visiting

This is basically the Mexican White House. The garden is very nice, but they filled the whole estate with dinosaurs. There was one tiny art gallery, and just dinosaurs everywhere. The few education parts of the estate are very interesting.

This is the place where presidents lived. The current president Amlo has no interest to live here and opened the whole thing to the public so people can see how presidents lived. The president before him Nieto took / stole everything even the curtains. Some presidents built their own style house in the property instead of staying in the presidential house.

Visited the ORIGEN exhibition! Great ! Free entry, more than 1000 artisans, mostly clothes. Also different bands and music from all over México and food from different areas. Very big. A lot to see. Cash and credit card possible.

(Translated by Google) It is a very beautiful place, full of political history, where luxury, ostentation and corruption came together. Today made a museum allows us to take a tour listening to anecdotes from the leaders of our country and admiring the cultural diversity of Mexico. Visit it as a family !!

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. I only did not go 5 stars because this place would benefit from a map and/or recommended route to go instead of just walking into where you think might be open. Must see while it is open to the public. It is free by the way so big plus.

Recetly opened to the public, this complex that once was the home of past presidents is now home to various art exibitions that change througout the year.

Interesting walking tour of the presidential complexes, with access to many of the presidential homes inside Chapultepec park, a separate building for each president, showing the various styles across the decades. Open for the first time ever to the public, it gives a great insight into Mexico's government's history. The entire tour, if you go through every building, takes about 2 hours and is a 4km (about 2.5 miles) walk.

The fact that you can now visit the home of every Mexican president since the 1930's is awesome. However, it's like looking at an empty spec home for sale. Much of the furniture and art has been removed. It would be much more interesting to have some of the historical presidential artifacts present. All that said, apparently no entry was possible until 12/2018 so enjoy it since it's free.

(Translated by Google) Impressive but at the same time outrageous only that you have to walk a lot to get there both by subway and parking, the truth does not end the tour the place is already used as a museum, I imagine that later on it will have more uses, a victory for the democracy of the new times.

Nice place. Finally we can to know all the commodities and excessive luxury in the past administrations.

  • 1/5 Erik M. 1 year ago on Google
If you happen to be in the area go ahead and visit but I don't recommend going out of your way to visit. They shut down areas abruptly for special events and there is not much to see except a Lazaro Cardenas exhibition. Everything else is dead. The grounds are nice but nothing you don't see in the Chapultepec park. The worst museum in this area.

  • 5/5 David P. 2 years ago on Google
Historical Mexican place to know Lázaro Cárdenas life as president, he made more things in 6 years than last former presidents ( Peña, Calderón, Fox, Zedillo and Salinas) together.

It was a great honor to be able to visit this lavish presidential estate. Though the house was gutted of almost all of its furnishings by the previous occupants, it is still very impressive. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. Definitely worth a visit!
