How lucky I am to have made it to Doctor Barakat. I came backwards, constrained and forced. Apprehension and pain had made me delay treatment for much longer than was reasonable. Doctor Barakat and his assistant make a human, reliable and competent team. The patient is taken into consideration as a whole, including his or her moods. All gestures and timings are explained. The assistant shows nonverbal kindness when she feels that one moment is more complicated than another. The equipment is top of the range, and the work under the operating field provides comfort of care which makes all the difference.
