Great place in Bordeaux! Great atmosphere, good selection of wines and boards. We went for the veggie one and it was delicious with a good variety of dips and vegetables.

Amazing service & super nice staff. The cold cuts were excellent and also the cheese table & the cammemver with honey. Very good atmosphere & plaasant environment. Recommend to book if going a Friday or Saturday night.

A lovely restaurant with great service. The meat and cheese platters are good value. There was a wide range of wine choice to suit our party of 7. Best of all, in my humble opinion, was the fabulous choice of craft beer, which is worth a return visit on its own. My only trivial issue was that the music was a bit loud but perhaps that suits the regular customer better than me.

Super chill place, with good drinks renewed every so often so good discoveries made in that place ! There's a room underneath that offers sofas and super comfy vibe !

Very cosy place, good music but above all: good wines! You get a little explanation with every wine you taste (which grapes, which region the grapes are from,…) which makes it a very enjoyable bar to learn more about wine. Would recommend for sure!

A very nice bar for wine and food. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He can recommend you in what wine your want. And for a non native French speaker it helps that he speaks English very well. I recommend.

We came upon le Metropolitain when we were looking for an early meal in Bordeaux after an afternoon in the city before taking my brother to the airport. And what a lovely finale to his stay the Metropolitain was. We each had a mystery tasting glass of wine chosen by the proprietor after a asking us for our wine style preferences and we were each delighted with his choice. The glasses were sparklingly clean, the decor and atmosphere is great. We loved the music too! We shared a very delicious tasting platter and chatted. A wonderful experience and one to add to the memory bank. Thank you and best of luck with this new venture.

We found it very quiet and inside it was very dark!! The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. No issues with food or drinks, and fair pricing.

Good wine, wide selection, nice food and friendly staff. Can really recommend this place especially because staff speaks English and will explain at length what exactly you are drinking.

Absolutely wonderful little place! I was really second guessing why there have so many 5 start, but as soon as we arrived, we were welcomed, sat down, wonderful food, wine and great prices. Warm cosy atmosphere. Great fun. We ordered a lot of wine and a lot of food, and came out great price.
