The city is wonderful, full of beautiful buildings. The square has an extremely beautiful and famous fountain. Unfortunately, taking pictures is difficult because it is always full of people. We really enjoyed the square and the whole city during our visit.

This is a wonderful place to visit. This square dates back to the 18th century and is symbolic of the beauty of Bordeaux. It is outside the original fortification walls of the city and is on a wide open space, next to the river Garonne. It is encircled by some amazing, historic buildings, it is the location of the Water Mirror and the views all around are magical. Just wonderful place to enjoy with your family.

Incomparable views with majestic buildings on one side and the Dordogne on the other, under a beautiful sky. Kids and adults alike will enjoy cooling their feet and taking pictures at the reflecting pool.

BEAUTIFUL EVEN UNDER CONSTRUCTION When I visited Bordeaux's most famous buildings, some of it was under construction and there was no water in the fountain. That didn't ruin what was otherwise a memorable visit to the Place de la Bourse. It's a nice square to hang around in and looks even better at night. Admittedly, you can't really visit the inside (not that I'm aware?) but it's nice to visit.

I was looking for a perfect angle for photo ops until I came across to this. The idea of a reflecting pool is very ingenious and when there's no wind, it magnificently reflects the original image into the water. You can also walk on it and take pictures with your friends. I was here the start of winter and didn't really had the perfect weather with me but I hope to be back in here and enjoy the ambiance on a warm sunny summer.

Beautiful reflection of the magnificent early modern architecture reflected on water, this square in the heart of the UNESCO heritage city of Bordeaux is surreal. Facing the river front of Garonne on one side and the old city center behind it's a perfect place for sunset walks along this awesome square!

This is a square landmark for the town, where everybody comes here for view of the town and the river, and it's an amusement park for kids to play with fountain. The tram stop here as well, just right next to the walking area.

It’s a nice place, if you go by the day there’s a museum in a side, but if you go by night you can cross the street to the mirror of water and see the beauty of this building. * If there’s not water you can see it but not that nice * they put publicity so it doesn’t look that nice that

Here at dusk, we saw loads of photographers and thinking it would evolve into some kind of fountain show, we waited, and waited as the water drained and returned.... I asked another 'watcher ' if anything else happened and he told me there was a fog to come - a bit later he said after googling it, that it had been cancelled through Covid and never reinstated so who knows 🤷‍♀️. A pretty place but not spectacular.

Beautiful place to visit, especially after dark when you can see the mirror of the building.

Amazing place to visit, I strongly recommend visiting at night. The view is amazing and there is a pool of water. You can take your shoes off and walk in the water in the middle of the night, enjoying the view of the place and the canal right behind you. Unforgettable.

Nice place, not spectacular. Mirror pond is best in the morning to reflect the buildings.

Mirrored water feature in front is a great place to cool down in the heat.

We were visiting Bordeaux and wanted to have a good lunch. It was a hot day and we wanted to sit indoors. It was close to 12:30 so we chose this restaurant. There were not many people but it started to fill up as we ordered and waited to be served. We wanted vegetarian and non veg options and we had we wanted. We didn't have to wait too long to be served, it was perfect. The food was fresh and warm besides very tasty and good serve. The ambiance was nice and sitting was very comfortable.vee were very satisfied.

Great fun on a hot summer day, as there's a fountain that floods a vast area in several inches of water. Great fun for kids and adults alike if you need a cooldown during your sightseeing.

Very fun place to take a walk on a breezy evening. The Mirroir D'eau is a fascinating installation. We were told it was meant to be just an installation for one to see the whole Place de la Bourse get reflected in the thin layer of water, but the place has not been invaded by children of all shapes and sizes. While it's a joyful spot now, we couldn't find a vacant spot to capture the essence of this installation.

Very picturesque iconic area of Bordeaux. Only a quick visit required but nothing bad to say about the area.

Beautiful buildings right in the middle of the city centre. Definitely worth the visit and admiring the architecture.

Eindrucksvoller Ort. Es gibt ein Parkhaus direkt am Platz, etwas steil und ungewöhnlich, aber super zentral um die Stadt zu erkunden

What can you say? It is beautiful at all times of the day but at night under the lights it is spectacular.

Place de la Bourse is a masterpiece of urban design that graces the banks of the Garonne River in Bordeaux. This iconic square, framed by the stunning classical architecture of the 18th century, is a visual delight. The square is not just a historic landmark; it's a dynamic space that captures the essence of Bordeaux's architectural splendor and invites locals and visitors alike to savor the charm of this picturesque destination.

The place is spectacular. I gave only 4 stars because of the wind. Go and visit Mirroir d'eau in the morning when the light is the best but also hope that the wind won't blow, otherwise this is all you can do. However the area is beautiful, large and green.

Amazing historical place. Great place to spend evening with loved ones. Bordeaux tourism is incomplete without it.

Really nice but not always with the water for the mirror effect!

Absolutely nothing special at the moment. I don't know if it's due to scaffolding or otherwise

Awesome sightseeing spot. The mirror effect is above wonderfull, but when we visited we the 'mist moment' did not happen. Look it up before hand if you want to see this spectacle. A nice view over the water and you can just cross the street to be back in the middle of the city.

Almost half a mile of elegant 18th century design buildings overlooking the mighty Garonne river. In front of them is the Miroir d'Eau which is decorative pool and reflects the buildings. The whole place looks very beautiful during the golden hour of the day.

The site is more fabulous in the evening after dark, but worth a visit during the day as well. Nice square, often with street performances and with the famous shallow water before the buildings.

Bordeaux is a beautiful city to visit and there is so much to see and do, you should probably have to stay for a few days to see all the highlights!

Beautiful architecture on a great Friday evening. Parts under construction but still great to see this in person.

Amazing place. Must see if you traveling in Boardeaux. Trum's stop very close.

  • 4/5 Trevor J. 9 months ago on Google
Elegant building. Large Inch-deep pool across the road. Maybe the pool is a mirror at night, however it was full of kids having a whale of a time during the day.
