After the amazing Google reviews I have trouble believing the experience I had there today. Was I in a different restaurant? I even checked the photos of the interior - the same place. We ordered a starter and a main meal. The starter - small tortilla, was an untoasted store bought (we saw how the waiter passed it to the kitchen) flour tortola with canned cold beef (!) and a slice of cabbage on top. I am not exaggerating. It was something a college student would whip up after a night out drinking at 3 am. The main course - dish of the day - were dry pale chicken peaces boiled in coconut milk accompanied by half raw boiled onion pieces and flavoured with capers. The ginger that was supposed to be there was missing, though I don't think that would have made much difference at this point. One would think it can't be worse, but the dish was accompanied by an absolute crime - mushy overcooked unseasoned rice. Now when I say overcooked, I don't mean slightly sticky. No no, the rice had the consistency of baged rice that was boiled for 30 minutes after it was done. It was practically a paste at this point. Glue. Molded into a round shape on the plate. Both meals were prepared by someone that obviously can't cook. I am not talking about presentation, freshness of the ingredients or innovation. I am talking basicly edible food at this point. Frozen meal or something out of the can would be better options, because they still have some culinary thoughts behind them. The dishes served to us today have no place in a restaurant, of any kind. It is something you would expect to come out if a person that can barely cook am egg decides to try making a dish at home following a recipe, decides to cut corners mid way and is missing half of the ingredients. 1 Star for the horrible food. The service gets 1 start too, because the waiter clearly knew what he was serving, since he slipped in store bought tortillas to the kitchen staff. Now I don't know what happened in the kitchen today. Was the Chef sick? Did someone fill in? Was it sabotage? The food we were served did not look similar to the pictures posted here today. If something unexpected happens, please close the restaurant for the day and don't expose your customers to this.

We came here for dinner and had the burger - it was very, very overcooked, charred black and I had the pasta with chicken. It was tasty, but nothing special. Neither was as good as the reviews had lead us to expect unfortunately. We were the first ones there, so no excuse for the kitchen being busy. But the waiter was charming and efficient. And it did get busy.

I agree with other reviewers, who said they had to check they went to the right restaurant. The photos on here are flattering, the reviews even more so. There wasn't much left on the menu when we were ordering at 1pm on a Sunday. When the food finally arrived, most of it was disappointing (except the mushroom and gruyere parcels, which were excellent). I believe that it is sometimes good and we were unlucky. There were some nice ideas but there were also silly mistakes like stodgy mashed potato and too much pepper in the chicken sauce. The waiter was very nice but was also helping the chef in the kitchen so he had a lot to do, both looked stressed. At least it wasn't expensive. I wish them success because it is a cool little place. If the chef could choose dishes, for which he can prepare more elements in advance, and avoid anything unnecessarily complicated, they could achieve a more consistent result. Until then, I recommend La Broche De L'Ostal nearby, which is superb.

Rustic cuisine, small wine list with great service. The bread pudding was absolutely divine.

Very quaint small and personal place. Interesting choice of dishes. We had all chosen different appetizers and main courses. It was delicious and we were all very satisfied at first. Unfortunately, one of us got problems just two hours later and needed repeated visits to the toilet until the day after. We assume the soup gazpacho de melon was the culprit.

Lovely welcoming staff, I had the dish of the day. Chicken with rice with a mustard sauce and caprice (11e). Very nice for a balanced lunch. As well as chairs and tables They have a sofa and a low table which was great for me to eat and work.

Tiny little place. Burger was good. Tiramisu was quite tasty. Too bad the location is a bit shady and the table wasn't the cleanest (bird poop that did get cleaned off eventually). Waitress was nice.

Nice outdoor seating, good food and friendly service. Small menu that seems to change daily. Really enjoyed the Risotto. Overall very fair prices and a great option for dinner.

The Basque burger that I had here may have been the best burger I’ve tasted in my life. Lovely wee restaurant.
