It is always such a treat when a local shares their love of home with you. Jean-Christophe is a life-long resident, and provides a charming, funny and informative tour around Bordeaux. If you only have one day in the city, be sure to do this tour. You will not regret it. The man’s a treasure.

This was a highlight of our visit to Bordeaux. Jean-Christophe is an incredible tour guide with perfect English. His love and pride for his city is immediately evident. The bikes are great - probably the most comfortable saddle ever and the route is flat and mostly in areas with little or no traffic. Plenty of historical information, backed up with old photos makes this a very interesting tour. The group size of 8 is ideal too, unlike other tours that we saw. Highly recommended for teenagers and older.

Our bike tour was definitely one of my favorite things we have done on our trip here in France! I have been on several bike tours all over the world, and this is definitely the best I have been on. Our tour, Jean Christophe, was super kind and friendly and spoke fantastic English which was helpful for me with limited knowledge of French. The tour was a perfect blend of history mixed with cool insider spots that only a local would know about. Jean Christophe made the history of Bordeaux come to life with amazing explanations and even pictures to enhance the experience. Because of this tour, I now have amazing recommendations of where to eat and where to visit more. I would recommend this to anyone visiting, English or French speaking. Jean Christophe is an amazing tour guide with a passion for the history of Bordeaux. His tour took us to the most amazing areas of the city were we learnt all about bordeaux's rich past and incredible present. The city is very safe and friendly to cycle around. My wife and I had a wonderful time on our tour. Jean-Christophe was very knowledgeable about the history of Bordeaux, and the tour did a great job of telling the story of the city. He was also a great guide. Biking on my own I found some areas to be difficult to navigate, but the route chosen on the tour was carefully selected to stay off the busy streets and travel down small back streets with beautiful architecture.

This tour was an easy, friendly, informative and enjoyable way to get introduced to Bordeaux in a few hours. Bike tours are so much better than walking tours when you have children! No more complaining about how tired their feet are. And better in hot weather too, as you get a breeze while riding. Bordeaux is designed to cater very well to cyclists. Jean Christopher is a knowledgeable and passionate local of Bordeaux, who shares key insights in bite size and engaging ways. After this tour we had a good idea of which parts of Bordeaux we wanted to go back to explore in detail. The bikes were in excellent condition and comfortable and Jean Christophe provided helmets (by law for children and at our request for us adults) and cold water in little cooler bags in our bike baskets. Highly recommend!

Excellent way to discover the many parts of Bordeaux!! Jean-Christophe was an excellent guide and loves his city and how it has transformed from car centric to bike and walking centric city which this tour takes advantage of. Bikes were in excellent condition with helmets included. Inclusion of ponchos and water bottle was lovely touch. Tour last for 12k but we were never under pressure and Jean could answer and question on Bordeaux. I appreciated that he even looked up when the Pont Jacques Chaban Delmas would lift! Highly recommend this tour!

Cannot recommend this bike tour highly enough! From the first booking I made (I made a few mistakes and changes while making my booking), Jean-Christophe was very helpful and responded quickly to inquiries. The morning of our tour, we got stuck in traffic and were late. Despite our tardiness, Jean-Christophe was so kind as to still manage to get us the bikes and include us in the tour that had already started. The tour itself (after our hiccups!) was lovely. A great overview of the city- especially if you’ve only got a few hours there like we did. The bikes are extremely comfortable and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our recent bike tour of Bourdeaux with Jean-Cristophe. The city lends itself to getting around on a bike. We were fortunate to visit many places in the two and a half hours that we would never have considered if we were to do it ourselves. It pays to have a local show you the ropes! Jean-Cristophe is a talking/cycling encyclopedia (excuse the pun) regarding the city's history. We're so glad we decided to book the tour. If you're planning to visit Bordeaux and want a flavour of the city before exploring it more thoroughly yourself, or if you're limited in time - like us, we'd recommend the tour.

Firstly I organised rather last minute to try and book a tour. The gentleman in question was very cordial and quickly accommodated us into the days plans. The tour itself was excellent. The information provided was very complete and organised. We learned a lot about the city, more than we anticipated to learn. The tour guide had lived his entire life in Bordeaux so he provided some very interesting and insightful anecdotes. Regarding the places we visited, it was not a difficult bike ride and we covered a lot of terrain. The bikes were of excellent quality, making the tour very enjoyable. Water bottles were also provided. However, since we had brought our own bottles, insulating bags were given to keep them chilled and refreshed. The only potential downside would be the consideration that because I am a student, the tour seemed a bit pricey. However, given the circumstances of Covid and the quality of the tour, I cannot let the price take away from the genuine enjoyment of the activity. Additionally our tour guide is bilingual being capable of speaking French and English. He was also very kind. Overall a great experience, I would definitely recommend to book a tour.

My wife and I were Jean-Christophe's first bike tour post COVID-19 lockdown. It was only the two of us on the tour and was raining in the beginning. The reason I raise these conditions are the simple fact that Jean-Christophe did not have to take us given it was only two of us; however, he did without hesitation and provided a wonderful, intimate, and memorable bike tour of Bordeaux. Jean-Christophe was very passionate and knowledgable about the history and culture about his city. We were able to see every touristic sight in Bordeaux on the very comfortable bikes his company provided. This tour was the highlight of our Bordeaux trip!! I hadn`t been on a bike for nearly 30 years so was a little nervous on the day but Jean Christophe was brilliant. He took his time to explain what we`d be doing, adjusted the bikes to suit us and we were off to explore this beautiful city.
