If you do one thing in Bordeaux, Sophia’s tour should be it! Highly recommend! Sophia was our first tour in Bordeaux and she was an absolute gem of a guide! Her warm disposition, enthusiasm about this place and knowledge of the city was infectious and fascinating. We loved every minute! She’s a wonderful story teller, showed us so many fantastic places and taught us so much about Bordelais life. As a private guide, Sophia allows you to customize your tour based on your interests. We didn’t have much knowledge of the city going into it, so really followed her lead and were so pleased with all that we saw. I’m planning a trip back to Bordeaux next year for my family and can’t wait to share Sophia’s tour with them. Highly, HIGHLY recommend!!!! Also, she speaks English, Spanish and French fluently so is really the guide for so many visitors!

We cruised with Oceania and spent 2 days in Bordeaux. We prefer small private tours over the large bus tours with the cruise lines. Our group of 4 hired Sophia for a private walking tour of Bordeaux. We truly enjoyed the tour. Sophia is very knowledgeable about the city, is energetic, and is a lot of fun. She not only gave us a tour of the city's major sites, but she also brought us to 2 of her favorite pastry shops for local treats. If you are interested in purchasing wine to bring home, Sophia can recommend a great local wine store. We highly recommend Sophia, but please note that this is a walking tour so you must be mobile.

What a great introduction to Bordeaux! Sophia knows her stuff! We traveled to Bordeaux for the first time and started our 7 day trip with a 3 hour walking tour with Sophia. It was fantastic, a great way to get your bearings and bonus…we got the inside scoop. It was a great way to learn the basics of the city, culture, history and good spots to wine and dine from a local (who speaks multiple languages) and is willing to share their favorite things! Sophia is just lovely. The minutes went by quickly and she left us excited to embrace this awesome city.

We had a wonderful tour with Sophia! From start to finish it was fun and interesting. She is full of friendly energy that is contagious! We followed her around Bordeaux tasting the local delicacies while hearing about the history as well as modern day stories of the city. Sophia is absolutely fantastic. Prior to our arrival she helped with restaurant recommendations and reservations. She is very quick to respond on what’s app and truly wants to help. Our tour with her was over the top. Her love of the area plus her knowledge of all the best places to visit made for an incredible afternoon. Sophia was the best tour guide I could have ever hoped to have! She's a beautiful young lady that is very passionate about her work and it truly shows. Her attention to details about the city really made it seem Bordeaux seem so wonderful. She was very laid back and let us feel like we were in control of our tour all the while still staying on track! She showed us her favorite pub where we made a pit stop an enjoyed a nice cold drink. WOW this was one of the best tours we've ever had! Me and my husband travel a lot and love doing walking / food tours to learn the history, eat local treats and see the architecture. Sophia was SO friendly, with a bubbly personality and super sweet! She was extremely knowledgeable about Bordeaux and even took us to great stops to eat some delicious local sweets :) We learned so much about Bordeaux thanks to Sophia. She also gave us GREAT restaurant recommendations (thanks to her brochure - highly recommend getting it)! All in all, don't hesitate and book this tour!!

We did a two hour walking tour of beautiful Bordeaux with the delightful Sophia. She totally brought Bordeaux to life, sharing a mixture of history and current day information to create a truly intriguing and enjoyable walk around this historic city. Our only regret was that we didn't do this on day one, and book another tour with Sophia during our stay. Sophia kindly shared so many tips for our stay - which made for a wonderful experience. If you are looking for an English speaking guide, I cannot rate her highly enough.

Bordeaux is a beautiful city with much to offer. Sophia's bespoke tour was a perfect welcome to the city. Excellent communications prior to the tour, and a surprising amount of flexibility to accommodate our changing schedule. Sophia was personable, charming and engaging. She imparted to us her knowledge and local insights with enthusiasm and in an accessible manner. Our tour had the feeling of a meeting with a friend, rather than a commercial exercise. My family and I thought that Sophia was fabulous, and we would love to come back to Bordeaux and have another lovely experience.
