One of my favourite places to visit when I’m in Paris. I’ve been on all three of my trips and always enjoy the art. It’s also a great place to snap photos. Plus it’s free to enter, but you can leave the artists a tip. The stairs are an experience in themselves and it’s always cool to see what the resident artists are creating. If you’re lucky, you might even get to chat to them. It’s very different from the galleries, providing a more grungy art experience.

Exploring the place with artists' exhibitions was a unique and fantastic experience. The diverse array of artistic expressions created an immersive atmosphere, leaving a lasting impression. Each exhibit felt like a journey into the creative minds of the artists, making the visit not only visually stimulating but also intellectually enriching. The fusion of talent and imagination in this artistic haven made it a truly memorable and inspiring outing.

Initially I thought this place was just an average building until someone at the desk came up to us and said “this is another world, a brand new trip into the life of art.” Couldn’t believe it at first but these 6 floors changed me, each room and each unique artists with so much passion brought me and my partner a tear because the love for art and expression was shown to us. Artists from different countries and cultures bright and taught us many lifestyles which took our breath away. Unbelievable and remarkable. Truly.

Amazing experience. DIY-exhibit particularly was very delightful, you could write down your favorite book or moment on a giant poster and read through previous entries. The artists all had good work too look at and were there themselves. Not to mention the stairs, loved looking at all the details. A good photo spot as well.

What a wonderful place! So many incredible art pieces and artists. We could talk to some about their work and even watch them create their newest pieces. The space itself is a piece of Art, with amazing murals and poetry flying around.

I found this by accident and i was in awe!! Even if you are not a creative person or have an eye for anything art related you will undoubtedly love it here. Going up the stairs (great photo spot) you see art everywhere. Every floor is filled with different artists and their studios. You get to explore different kinds of art, you see a little bit of their imagination and talent everywhere you look. You also get to meet new creative people which is amazing!! They have art for everyone but only take cash. You support amazing artists and you get inspiration from every corner. If you visit Paris you should definitely go there!

Omg wow - free exhibition but one of the best I’ve seen in the city. Highly recommend the whole place is magical! Take some cash as there are lots of cute little things you can buy from the resident artists.

I was positively surprised when I came here. The stairway which is already such a beautiful art all the way up, is leading you to several floors where artists are displaying/making their art. You can ask them questions about their work, they are super friendly! The entrance is free, but please leave a tip on the way out as an appreciation. I gave 5 euros because I was really surprised!

Beautiful art space. There are multiple floors with different artists creating their art right when you are passing by. Just a very different atmosphere to look at art being created in the busy center of Paris. You can buy some art, talk to artists or just enjoy the vibe (and it's free!). Even the art on the staircase is worth the visit.

A great gallery, with a lot of stories to tell. Artists sit along with their art, and would continue to work while others explore.

Resident artists can be seen creating new pieces every time, is a good way to look into the creation process. Nice way to start the day before heading to the Pompidou Centre. There is also a gallery on the first floor that brings new collections.

An amazing place where different artists come, work on their art, exhibit them, and interact with the public. Whenever I have people come visit, I always take them here. Fortunately, entrance is free and usually there are no lines. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded, but with all the amazing art that can be seen, it’s well worth it.

The interior of the art gallery was stunning. Watching artists during their work was very enriching and inspiring experience. Moreover it was for free and you can choose an artist which you can always support by buying his artworks. I would highly recommend this to any artistic soul who visits Paris! :)

(Translated by Google) It is a contemporary art museum where you can see the present of Paris. A place where you can feel a variety of things at once, starting in the form of an occupied art exhibition, joint work-space sharing-open studio-art work and public communication. Even if I stop by every day, I see different things every day. The fact that this atelier is in this most expensive building in Paris is encouraging. Sometimes there are concerts and events, so it's even better to check out! Ah, I don't know if it will be there now, but the time I went there was also at the Korean artist's atelier.

Interesting building for different artists' views and techniques. We went with children and it was different from what we expected. If you are in the area, make a fast jump there. Otherwise, I will not go only for that.

  • 5/5 Cesar M. 2 years ago on Google
Always a great experience! Resident artists change every now and then, so going every once in a while is a different experience (every 6 months or every year). Painters differ in styles, techniques, you can talk to them, buy their art... The place is very original, with a very grunge vibe. The entrance is free, but you can leave tips for the artists or at the exit (up to you).

59 Rivoli is a very unique experience, as you have the chance to stroll around artists while creating their pieces. It is a very authentic way of experiencing art in Paris, as there is a wide variety of pieces - fitting for everyone’s taste. Definitely recommend!

  • 3/5 Irma Z. 11 months ago on Google
This is a very cool spot. The building, and staircase in particular, is definitely worth checking out. I got there just as they opened and while the overall vibe at the entrance and on the stairs is amazing, the studios were a little more difficult to decipher in terms of the art being created.

  • 5/5 Pepper P. 1 year ago on Google
I love the unique art experience all the artists have joined to create. They make me feel the creativity even from the stair decors. It's even free entry and u have the chance to get things custom made for you. Highly recommend

This was an amazing experience. Found this place as I was walking by. Plenty of things to look at and so many different styles of art. You can see the artists themselves create the art on the spot and even purchase some of their creation. Such an interesting feeling walking around different studios, you would have to go there to experience it. Would go again for sure

A very creative modern art hub in Chatelet. There was a temporary exhibition by 3 Argentinian female artists in the ground floor. Each of the remaining 6 floors feels like a separate world than the others. Various artists display their work, and you might catch them in action working on their newest masterpiece. Even the stairs itself is a masterpiece on its own, with drawings, writing on each step, and stickers. Highly recommend visiting it

(Translated by Google) One or even the most interesting museum that I have visited. The artists are very nice and don't hesitate to explain their approach. The works are very original and daring but have one or more messages behind them. The fact that we can follow the different artists on social networks is also a plus, we can have access to even more of their work. I recommend this museum to everyone, no regrets (Original) L'un voire le musée le plus intéressant que j'ai pu visiter. Les artistes sont très sympas et n'hésitent pas à expliquer leur démarche. Hyped up as a creative art center. It's not that bad but not worth the time during a limited stay in Paris. Good to visit for locals. Full of fresh ideas but not necessarily great or good ideas!! Staff are friendly and accept donations.

A unique art place in Paris. It's often overlooked as it's close to louvre and the crowd is saturated there. But if you want a more peaceful art experience that's quirky, modern and thoughtful this is the place. It's colourful and has a good artistic persona

Cool and unexpected place to visit. This is a spot that isn't very well known but is a hidden treasure of the city. There are artists who feature their artwork in the rooms of this house as well as work on their art there. A more modern type of art "museum" and admission is free!
