Really enjoyed the local mushroom dish here. Mains were exceptionally good too. Staff were fantastic. The wine served here is key. They have a huge range. They do a taster menu but check times as we're late. Great service. Highly recommended.

So this was a pleasing surprise. We went expecting it to be quite good but we’re we’re really surprised just how good it was. The food was exceptional and well presented. Wine was fab, I highly recommend this Chardonnay if you like a strong taste. Staff were top draw and we even left a tip, most unlike me. All in all perfect. My only critique would be ver a rather small menu because it limits the amount of times we can return. Well done people.

We mostly enjoyed the appetizers, however, the main courses were also good. The wines were also tasty, but I cannot comment more because I know little about them:)

We went there last week with 20+ people for our early X-mas party. The food was great and the wine tasting was really super, presented with some humor as well as a lot of background information. Even if you are not the regular wine guy, this was really worth listening and trying some great wine over dinner.

Caramelized onion adds delicate scent to plate of cheese. We were surprised to find free table here in Saturday evening, and satisfied by everything!

Saying the service was excellent is an understatement! The staff was incredible! Arrived without a reservation and it wasn’t a problem on a Monday night. Food was perfect and the wine presentation was just as good as the wine.

We had a 4 course tasting dinner with wine pairings and it was fantastic. The meals were really original, fresh and well thought out. We were blown away by the taste of both dishes and wines. The staff was also phenomenon. They were extremely professional, friendly and educating about the origins of the wines and pairings. The experience will be long lasting. We had a meal in the afternoon, April 2023 , we ordered several dishes, steak, duck , prosciutto, and several glasses of wines, everything was quite tasty and the service attentive. What really spolied everything happened at the end: I asked if they had digestives, they did not, and the waitress suggessted a sweet wine, which we accepted. They did not say the price, I forgot to ask. We took 4 glasses, and just this little trick costed 56€ , 14€ per glass of a micro portion of 50ml. Not fair. First of all you have to tell the price, you can't surprise the customers. Second, after such a meal, one would expect to have at least a couple of sips offered. Loss of style, will never come back.

On the surface Somm has it all but there’s just something not quite right. I’m not sure if it’s the atmosphere, over salted food or the long drawn out process clearly designed to sell as much wine & water as possible (2.5 hrs from arrival to mains). The staff are indeed delightfully friendly and very informative about aforementioned wines but the positives stop there. Give it a try if your pocket allows but if not there are dozens of better options throughout town.
