Had a dinner at this restaurant the other day. We ordered starter and Francesinha for a main dish. The food was good overall. What made me give 4* was a service. Gentleman serving our table seemed passive aggressive and made us feel uncomfortable couple of times. Other than that, you can find authentic interior at the place, the area is divided into two dining rooms and we were lacking music in the room that is located further from the bar area. Seems there was something with the sound that didn’t quite work well. Other than that, great place for meat lovers as you would find lots of meat dishes. And this restaurant has quite a nice wine menu.

I ate the francesinha (typical dish from the north of the country) and it was super well made, tasty and the correct portion (it's a massive dish) It felt like being back in Portugal while being 3654 km away For the wine we got Monte Velho (from Alentejo region) and we got Super Bock beer that goes quite nicely with the francesinha.

Paid 30+euro on my own. I think it’s a bit over price. Seafood is not the freshest but 25 euro I would expect nothing is tasting like frozen seafood. Sauce is not bad potato is ok. Wine is ok but 7 euro for a glass, not sure. For me it’s overprice.

Good selection of wines and good quality food. Francesinha was great and so were Stuffed Calamari. Our order was mixed up and one dish was forgotten about. Portuguese cake seemed to have been heated in a microwave. But overall a nice experience and I might come back.

We were very satisfied with the dinner. Lamb and beef was cooked perfectly, was soft and tender. Pan of fried shrimps also tasty. Octopus was soft, but slightly underseasoned. The same lack of seasoning was on tuna carpaccio. But people tastes are different, so I will leave for your jujment. Not cheap, but high recomendations. Staff were very helpful.

A taste of Portugal in the middle of Vilnius 🇵🇹 We came in on a tranquil Wednesday evening and decided to try Cataplana de Marisco with a few Portuguese wines and Pastel de Nata as a dessert. The service was quick and to the point although I would have enjoyed more assistance in choosing a complementary wine, it really would have enhanced our experience a notch ☺️ Nevertheless, delicious high quality dishes, cosy and pleasant atmosphere as well as precise quality price ratio. If you are still considering - come for a visit!

A very cozy place for an evening out or for celebrating a birthday or any other occasion. Visited this place just after the ease of quarantine restrictions, so there weren’t many people at the time but on any other occasion, you will hardly get a table without a reservation upfront. You can sit both inside and outside. The restaurant has an inner patio. Although you can not smoke in the patio. The service was fast and proffesional. The items that we tried from the menu were Pickled octupus, Shrimps, Squids, Cuttlefish that went very well with some sauce made from oranges. Also we tried Stuffer baby squids, and the Beef Tartar. All of these dishes were very tasty and worth the try. The wine was also very tasty and went vert well with all the seafood. Not a cheap place but worth the money. Would definitely come back again, lived the foof and the cozy atmosphere.

Been there two times, both were perfect. As name suggest the dishes are either Portuguese, or with Portuguese notes. Nice, cozy place in a heart of Vilnius. In the basement they have jazz bar. So you can even have a nice diner and then listen to good music.

Loved the place, will come back to try other food. Grilled octopus was good (well, not the best in my life, but still good though). It was a lovely Portuguese food experience in the centre of Vilnius Old Town.

-Seafood cataplana (which should be amazing main dish in a Portoguese restaurant) was a disaster. Especially shrimps in it were impossible to eat. -For starter, we ordered Pate combo, supermarket quality bread& supermarket pate. -Carrot soup was ok. -Music was horrible, low but very commercial, not an authentic experience. -And we paid 100 euro for this experience. Way better places in Vilnius like La Boheme, do not waste your money in here.

I had the signature Galo do Porto cornish hen. It was adequate but not superb. (The carrot soup appetizer, by contrast, was excellent.) Likewise, the service was mediocre. The server was testy and initially flatly refused to provide tap water rather than costly and wasteful bottled water. She finally relented but certainly didn't create any good feeling at the beginning of the evening. All told, not worth it. Try D'Eco instead. Great locavore food and dramatically more customer-friendly service.

Vilnius old town has stunning amazing restaurants .. one better than the other. This Portuguese place is exceptional. Totally reminds me of Istanbul Balat quarter with those colorful umbrellas. The cod fish together with slightly bubbly vino verde is a great choice, so delicious .. and the dessert donuts just out of this world! The owners/staff are friendly and attentive. Only a tiny little minus, because she forgot about the promised tap water.

Last but not least - dessert pasteis de nata are just to die for. It was a great finish to our dinner.

Comming here for many years, the food is really good but the prices recently went too high with >30 eur per plate, so if considering for family including drinks and coffee, it may come to ~200 eur. There are also super good places in Paris and over the all world, but not in not so much well known city as Vilnius. Decide yourself.

I’ve been a regular of the restaurant for a few years - the menu is pretty inclusive, minor changes every so often. Overall - I’ve never been underwhelmed. Charismatic staff too! Will visit again.
