Restaurant Breakfast restaurant

😠 Overpriced, very long waiting time, coffee below average (can’t properly make foam - flat white is simply black coffee with milk). Waited 15mins for coffee. Food was fine, but nothing special considering the price. Not returning. People often mention breakfast, eggs, coffee, time, brunch, wait, minutes, delicious, service, good,

Good breakfast place! Minimalist stylish and cozy interior. The menu offers a variety of breakfast options. My Benedict eggs with salmon was delicious and stylishly presented. I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful water carafe where you can pour free water. The service is attentive, even the smallest details are noticed, even though there was only one member of staff at the time. I will definitely come back here for breakfast.

If you're looking for a delicious breakfast and brunch spot in Vilnius, look no further than Daily Poison. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the stylish and minimalistic decor, which created a relaxing and inviting atmosphere. But the real star of the show was the food - it was absolutely exquisite. Everything from the coffee to the breakfast dishes were top-notch and packed with flavor. The service was also great, with the staff being both friendly and efficient. I was particularly impressed by the reasonable prices, considering the high quality of the food. I highly recommend Daily Poison for breakfast, lunch, brunch, and drinks, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. This is definitely a must-try spot in Vilnius.

Nice brunch in this little cafe 😊 the Avocado on toast was good, and the berry/peanut butter smoothie was delicious (especially the bits of dark chocolate at the bottom) 😋

An amazing brunch experience! As a group of 9, we were told to visit Daily Poison for a nice brunch around the city of Vilnius. We weren’t disappointed at all with the cosy location, quality customer-service, speedy food service, and tasty food options. The waiters took our orders separately and helped clarify any question we had from the huge available Menu, and managed to serve us and other customers with a big smile on their faces (something that changes an entire experience). Food Taste: 8/10 Quality of Service: 9/10 Cleanliness of Restaurant: 9/10 Restaurant Vibe: 8/10 Value for Money: 9/10 I rarely recommend highly Brunch places, but this one is an absolute must! Advice: Order the PB&J toasty to sweeten your tastebuds.

Excellent food, fresh products, friendly staff and nice quantities for a reasonable price. Stop searching you've found the best spot around for breakfast and brunch. The spicy potatoes with the borsh are incredible.

The eggs and bacon on brioche were to die for! However, the smoothie and the choco porridge were a miss. Come with a lot of patience, it takes a bit.

Cosy urban spot for breakfast or a coffee with your friends /family. Overall vibe is chilled, music is lounge and relaxing, it's really clean and well designed. Food- looks good but it's was a bit blunt, missing some flavours and coffee a bit too sour. I would get back here for a 2nd time to give this place a second shot on food for sure :)

I’ve read some negative reviews and they have some merit with regard to wait times for food. Yes, the wait times can be around 20 minutes for your scrambled eggs platter, but it will be delivered to your table with immaculate taste and texture depending on how you like your eggs. Scrambled or fried? Americanos are bold and earthy, not acidic, curious about the espresso roast they source. Presentation of the food is great, the bowls are tasty as they are colourful. However, the presentation of the “Sweet Toast - Banana & Dates” is so underwhelming for such a great concept. Atmosphere is great, lively and clean. The patio area is nice and in its own nook that provides both privacy and accessibility for guests. Definitely worth a try. Skanus!!

We went for breakfast at 11:15. We ordered two eggs benedicts, one veggie and one with salmon. We also ordered two smoothies and two coffees. I asked if it was possible not to put chocolate in my smoothie. My smoothie came with chocolate. I did not complain as it was just some pieces on top so I just gave them to my boyfriend. The rest of our order didn't come to the table until 12, both eggs with salmon. I told the waitress that mine shouldn't be with salmon and she took the plate away with not a very pleasant face. She came back 5 minutes later with my dish, left it on the table and left without an apology or anything. It was quite uncomfortable. Must say that the food was very good, but for a 34 euros breakfast I expected way a better service.

Too many people, waiter did not clean table for us after previous guests, waited for our food for 40+ minutes, we were asked to pay in front for our order. Definitely not worth visiting. The place pretends to be fashionable, but is in fact cheap and amateur.

Such a disappointment! Bad location next to the main road, sparingly decorated with the simplest furniture. No style, no atmosphere and the staff was remarkably inattentive. Though pretty the food underperformed to the mightiest. Tasted absolutely nothing!

Amazing atmospheric breakfast place with most delicious (& generously sized) portions. Food & coffee was delicious. Super friendly, nice & kind stuff. Our 3yo managed to drop & smash the full glass of orange juice, they just cleaned it all up & were so nice about it not blinking an eyelid. Coming back if ever in Vilnius again 🌸☀️😊

This cafe deserves more stars. Friendly staff. Roomy, plenty of tables. But let me tell you that the cafe has a policy of preparing take away food before serving customers seated in the cafe. Waited 20 minutes for my scrambled eggs. Enough. Poor service. Then went to the counter and asked for my money back. The woman behind the counter could not do this but prepared a takeaway which I did not want. She was nervous but I explained that it was not her fault. Management have to change their policy. At some point the seated customer must be a priority and the takeaway will have to wait. I will return and review my assessment of what should be a 5 star cafe. Dr Leonard Stone

A very nice quiet place for breakfast/brunch. However, the food and coffee were very normal, yes they taste good, but nothing special or outstanding. The service is slow also, but friendly. The best thing here is that prices are cheaper than Old Town area!

Daily Poison or rather slow poison of waiting. First place we've visited in Vilnius and so it's just sad. Drinks and food were served separately with a long time interval. First juice, after 10 minutes smoothie, 15 minutes later porridge and another 10 minutes later eggs with bacon on bread. It felt like there was one person cooking in a 2x2 meter kitchen. Food itself is normal. Would not recommend visiting Daily Poison even if you have patience to wait for food.

One of my favorite breakfast spots in the city. Unpretentious and not very expensive. Food is delicious. Nice modern minimalistic vibe - makes you feel productive :) A bit less busy than other brunch spots. Caveat that I've mostly been there on weekdays. On weekends it will most likely get pretty busy.

I heard that some of my friends had brunch here and they were happy about their avocado toasts or eggs Benedict. However, I got nicely surprised that Daily Poison has a small lunch menu! I ordered potato pancakes with crispy bacon. Each bite made me realise that the pancakes were made from scratch - crispy outside and soft inside. The curd sauce was also delicious! By the way, I liked the interior, it’s very cosy and hipster-ish. It reminded me of some small cafes I visited in Amsterdam. The cons? If you want to order food, be prepared to wait more than 30 mins. It’s a slow food cafe. Food and coffee are a little too expensive compared to other places in Uptown. Recommended! Update: I tried cold beetroot soup there. It was delicious, but a little pricey.

It’s great to see such an amazing new place in Vilnius. The only reason it is 4 and not 5 — the salmon was very chewy. 😔 Update 2023: Loved our recent brunch there, updating it to 5 stars as we loved everything.

Food arrived after roughly 1 hour and 15 minutes since ordering. Not sure why it takes so long to toast the bread and poach an egg. It was warm, not hot, pretty much zero seasoning and really overpriced. Staff doesn't seem to care much. Not recommended at all. EDIT to answer to the owner: Nobody informed us about the wait, it was our 2nd time here (1st time was roughly a year ago, on a weekday, in an empty café and we still had to wait around 30-40mins for the food). A little salt goes a long way, as it's best added when cooking, not on a warm food which won't even dissolve it properly.

Amazing food and great staff. The chef made.my vegan friend a vegan version of their potato pancakes because they didn't have anything vegan on the menu. Great service.

Cozy place, with an excellent selection of breakfast options. Unfortunately it's difficult to find a menu, and I was also asked to pay before finishing my meal. I recommend everyone to visit.

The place is ok..very minimalist no sugar or salt on the table, I asked a caramel latte and was almost cold. Then the Benedict eggs has some chilli flakes and was not in the menu so I had to ask to bring me again.. they did but with bad mood. I don’t know the menu is online it does not cost nothing to mention they come with spicy 🌶️ flakes!!! Then the value for the money no worth it.. 8,90€ for a small slide but very small almost nothing of avocado I would not recommend to ask for this maybe something else. Shame I came because I saw it 4 stars but disappointed

Had breakfast at this place the other day. The atmosphere is very clean and simple. You have to order at a counter and then food is delivered to your table. The food was good however not the best meal you can have in Vilnius. Poached eggs were overcooked. And cappuccino was alright. What I liked, the opening hours are very convenient for early risers and the place was not overpacked.

Nice latte, pleasant waiters. Awful toasts - all ingredients tastes separately, avocado was overripe, mushrooms floated in oil. Doesn't worth it's price

Pretty bad coffee. Avocado toast below average - avocado was not ripe, scramble egg was completely tasteless & watery. Not really worth the price. Atmosphere pretty nice though.

I really like the taste and softness of the dessert! Food taste is also nice, however I felt like the portions are a bit small and it took a bit long to serve. About the interior, it looks ok but it is completely minimalistic and white which is not so much of my taste :/

Hi. Sadly, not the best experience. The food seems a bit pricy given the served amount (we even had to go to another place to have an additional meal). Awaiting time was over 1h to get the food. Somewhat a weird moment was when we were standing by our table waiting for the chairs, and the employee took a chair and was moving it above one of the guests head… It just didn’t feel as a great experience. Sorry.

Been sitting here for nearly 1 hour after ordering a cappuccino and toast with scrambled eggs, payment upfront...So far I only got a very sad cappuccino with no foam and a weird aftertaste. There are 4 peeps working but seems to be looking at robot mops walking randomly in all directions. Well at least is pet friendly! Not coming back Music is awesome

The food was okay, but nothing special. Same goes for the coffee. Here's were it gets spicy: They made us wait for 50 minutes for our food and didn't even bother to apologize or explain anything. We didn't order complicated dishes and people arriving after us got served way before we did. Also dozens of deliveries were sent out before our food came. They really need to work out priorities and time management (nobody seemed busy) Sadly definitely can't recommend!

Food - 5/5. Service - maybe 2/5. And it’s always the same. Mixed dishes, waiting for an oatmeal for an hour because they are making Wolt deliveries instead of live clients - you always think that something bad will happen there and it always does… Still coming back for the food

Busy breakfast place. Food and coffee are great with many vegetarian and healthy options. Allow a livid time as kitchen is small and demand high with delivery couriers queueing at the doors

Stopped in for breakfast this morning— guy upfront did not speak lithuanian or english, ok for me, but not too good for people visiting or locals. Egg Benedict wasn’t anything special and the egg wasn’t runny as it should be, wouldn’t come back for breakfast, but latte with oat milk was delicious! Good spot for coffee only😉

What an experience it was dining at Daily Poison. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! We ordered a smoothie bowl and a toast but the preparation process stretched on for well over an hour, leaving us frustrated and hungry. Despite our repeated inquiries about the food's status, the responses we received were not only impolite, but shockingly inappropriate as well. One staff member, in particular, went so far as to make a sarcastic remark, "Do you think we're just playing cards in the kitchen?" The quality of the food was equally disappointing; the smoothie bowl was garnished with frozen berries that felt more like rocks, threatening to damage my teeth. I found this completely unacceptable and expressed my displeasure. Once again, their response was inappropriate and out of line. I was told, "There are bigger problems in the world than you not liking your meal!" Despite all of this, they offered a replacement smoothie bowl. What's infuriating is that I had clearly specified my severe almond allergy in my initial order. They assured me that the new bowl contained no almonds, but I still suffered a serious allergic reaction shortly after consuming it. The staff’s unprofessionalism was extremely shocking and I would advise anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience to explore other options!

The wait time of our order was adequate, however it really is overpriced and coffee is horrible. We ordered two Benedict eggs with salmon - eggs were tasteless and salmon was questionable quality. No fresh juices.

We had a breakfast here, which was nice, but kind of average. We had sourdough bread with eggs and mushrooms and brioche bun with avocado, egg and bacon. Both satisfying, but nothing too special, a little bit blunt in flavor.

Food was very tasty and price were okay. However waiting time was too long for a breakfast. We have waited more than 30 minutes. If you are not in a hurry, for sure you should visit here. I recommend.
