Lets start with the good: 1)The burgers are very well done and have a unique taste to them. Some effort was definitely put in developing the technological process. I am pretty sure the burger buns are either in house made or made by a custom order, they definitely surpass the quality of buns in most burger joints around town. 2)The meat is of high quality, although maybe a bit too much on the leaner side. This burger joint offers local high quality beef, or for an extra price Black Angus beef. If you know your beef well, you will notice the difference in the taste of the meat, but it is very subtle, and I guarantee most of you will not notice the difference when compared to local high grade beef. This of course is praise toward local beef, it is definitely of high quality, the meat is soft and juicy. Definitely in no way worse than Black Angus. 3)The toppings are all good, a bit of uniqueness and extra effort is put in every ingredient. 4)The size of the burger is adequate, well formed, does not fall apart. Now for the neutral: 1) The menu is a tad small. They are definitely good at making what they already serve. But I can tell for sure if I would have decided to come over for a couple of beers, snacks would definitely be lacking. 2)I did not like the location. I think this might have a big impact on the business, not just them, but other joints around them. The joint is located in a very lively place, but there is very little breathing space, only a few tables nearby. There is constantly music playing inside, as I would assume is operated by the administrators of the building. I can only feel sorry for the workers, since they probably keep getting headaches daily from the loud music. Beside the cramped interior and the loud music, I assume the maintenance (cleaning) is performed also by someone hired by the administration, which they aren't doing too great of a job. The tables are barely cleaned. 3)The prices are a tad high, but not really. Honestly I think a large part of it is from rent. I can wholeheartedly say that a burger of such quality should be priced at around solid 6 euros, definitely no less. Now the actual price is 6,7 euros if I remember correctly, plus a side order of fries added something around 2 euros, which in sum is 8,7 euros (not including the Black Angus modification). Now, many burger places in town actually offer a very similar price point (plus their food quality is lacking in comparison) so technically this is on the level, BUT, there are couple of joints that offer a lower price point (But I am confident they do not pay as much for rent). So all in all this point is neutral. Based on the administrative quality of the building, I think it would be wise to negotiate the rent terms of this place. And lastly for the bad: 1) Actually I don't have anything bad to say about this place. The food and service provided by Burger Kiosk is at a top level. My largest issues is with the location itself, which is sort of out of control of the food joint itself. And this is the main reason why I am giving 4 stars. I think the location has to much affect on this venture, which could offer better service and possibly a better price if they were located elsewhere.
