I
had
booked
2
nights
in
this
hotel,
which
seemed
to
be
very
welcoming,
as
a
surprise
for
my
partner's
birthday.
When
I
booked,
I
particularly
focused
on
the
room
with
terrace,
which
looked
even
more
charming
than
the
others.
I
didn't
realise
that
I'd
subscribed
to
a
non-cancellable
offer,
and
that
it
didn't
matter
because
everything
had
been
organised
for
the
big
day,
including
childcare
for
our
three
children,
so
in
my
mind
it
was
impossible
for
us
not
to
go.
On
the
morning
of
our
departure,
my
husband
and
I
were
stuck
in
bed
with
a
fever
of
40.
The
return
of
the
covid.
Unable
to
get
on
the
road
and
aware
that
it
would
be
disrespectful
to
go
to
a
hotel
in
such
a
state,
at
the
risk
of
contaminating
staff
and
guests,
I
contacted
the
hotel,
medical
certificate
in
hand,
simply
to
ask
that
the
hotel
suggest
a
date
a
few
days
later
that
would
be
convenient
for
them
to
postpone
the
stay
until
we
had
recovered.
Like
an
automaton,
the
hotel
replied
that
unfortunately
the
booking
conditions
made
it
impossible
to
find
any
solution,
but
that
they
hoped
we
would
recover
quickly
and
that
we
could
stay
with
them
at
another
time.
Not
the
slightest
compassion
or
flexibility,
despite
the
case
of
force
majeure
presented
to
them.
The
hotel
therefore
offered
us
two
nights
including
breakfast,
which
they
were
able
to
re-let
a
second
time.

Beautiful
mindset
to
make
money
on
good
faith
clients!
On
top
of
that,
I
found
extremely
unrespectfull
that
Supernova
dares
to
write
that
"it
looks
forward
to
have
the
opportunity
to
host
me
in
the
future".
Booking
a
room
in
Supernova
has
been
equal
than
put
331
EUR
in
the
trash!
Dear
Supernova,
for
your
information,
stating
that
you
empathize
does
not
make
you
empathizing!
You
didn't
try
to
find
any
compromise
to
make
that
situation
easier,
you
only
got
the
money
and
gave
my
room
to
someone
else
who
also
paid
it,
like
a
machine
would
have
done
it.
Now
you
are
answering
like
a
perfect
machine
that
you
are
looking
forward
to
host
me
in
the
future.
In
which
world
are
you
living?
On
my
side,
I
am
not
a
machine,
Supernova
is
and
will
remain
a
really
bad
experience
in
Rotterdam
so
please
be
assured
that
I
would
rather
spend
double
the
amount
for
an
hotel
2
times
less
charming
and
a
respectful
service
than
give
just
one
cent
more
to
Supernova!
