We were suggested to visit this restaurant for seafood. The menu offers a variety of generic fish, generally accompanied by rice, which is expensive. Prices start from 115 reis for two persons. Drinks are also expensive. The food quality is good and the service fast, despite it was crowded. Expect to pay 100 reis without asking for expensive drinks. Nice view over the ocean.

One of the best places to eat and drink in Maresias with beach view! They have an awesome Passion fruit caipirinha (caipirinha de Maracujá) worth the $27 reais :)

Good food and beverage options. Good to eat a pizza. Good to get drinks. They have a tasteful burger. Tha waiting in the weekends are too long, get there after 10pm if you dont like to wait a lot.

Not fancy at all, more of a laid back with a mix of first time tourists, local beach house owners and Maresias surfers. Very good fish, great location and excellent service. It gets crowded thought, so better reserve or avoid peak hours.

Badauê is a tourist trap, a place we’re you will be served frozen fish by the beach. The menu is irrelevant, the wine list is lacking at best. Saying the place is expensive is an understatement: there is no value delivered for your money. The location, on the other hand, is fenomenal, and the place has potential to host nice meetings (that is, provided your group can afford it). The staff was friendly enough, despite the lack of language mastery — if you want half decent service you better know enough Portuguese, or at least be with a knowledgeable guide. Still, I wouldn’t come back, at least not until some serious changes are made both to the menu and the pricing.

Overall nice place. A little bit overpriced, I believe it’s due to the lack of options in the area.

Good food, but not too good for the high prices they charge. Service is terrible, servers don't seem to know the menu and are never around. Nice ocean view, but you will hardly find a table by the beach, unless you reserve in advance.

Only stopped here to have a few drinks. Only got to have one because the waiter never returned once he gave us the first drink. I ended up just having to leave cash on the table for the drinks because I didn't even get a bill.
