I have had this displeasure of visiting this clinic 4x in the past 3 months. The first time I requested an appointment to fix some fillings that had come loose and were bothering me, the dentist fixed only one filling and I was told that the remainder would be fixed in my following 'intake appointment'. I then received a 70 euro bill for the first appointment. During my intake appointment, the dentist only took photos of my teeth and told me that we could make another appointment to fix the filling/cavities. I was billed around 170 euros for this intake appointment. On my third appointment, my I expected all my fillings/cavities to be fixed. However, after telling the dentist that I still felt sharp edges on my tooth, she proceeded to tell me that it was supposed to be like that. Just two days after my third appointment, the entire filling came out and I was left with a painful & large hole in my tooth. When I went back for the fourth time to get this fixed, she asked if I was angry. I informed her of the frustration I felt due to the fact that I had a hole in my tooth where a filling used to be only a few days after our previous appointment. She said that based on her assessment a few days ago, the filling was fine. She proceeded to tell me that I should not treat her like the 'enemy'. Which was not at all the case, I simply communicating my frustration. She told me that I should find another dentist due to the fact that her and I do not have a 'click'. After she fixed my tooth, she also found it necessary to inform me that she was not mad at me. It is shocking that she believe she had the right to be mad at me for not doing her job properly. I've always loved going to the dentist as a kid and as an adult. I have never had an experience where a dentist has disregarded my complaints and treated me with such a lack of professionalism. Unfortunately, Google reviews does not allow less that 1 star. The star in this case goes to the receptionist and dental assistants, who seem to be the only professional people at this practice. It's safe to say I will not be returning to this dentist again, as we have not been able to find a 'click'.

First things first: I still come here, but to a different dentist and I have only had one check-up. Last year I came to have two cavities filled. She had drilled a crater below and was just finishing with the gaping hole above, when suddenly it became very quiet. She looked at her screen and back at the freshly born craters. Her screen, the craters. Her screen, the craters. Until after the umpteenth repetition she says in a broken voice: 'There is no easy way to say this and I am terribly sorry, but I drilled on the wrong side. The photos were upside down.' I felt with my tongue half my teeth that had just been drilled away at the top and bottom, for nothing... Never heard anything about it again, just got the bill 👀 Yes, still 3 stars because I want to give the new dentist a chance and because the dental hygienist is worth 10 stars! That's a winner 😊

I had both my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Moghimi. She is very kind, humorous and professional. I didn’t experience any swollen cheek or even much pain afterwards. Highly recommended!!

The website states: "We always keep room in our schedule for emergencies. This will help you quickly, even if you are not a client." The email I received from the company today states "Unfortunately we are working with a waiting list at our practice and don't have any availability for new clients for the upcoming months." FALSE ADVERTISING. This is just what you need when experiencing excruciating dental pain.

Update: Dec 2022 - Dr. Maartje is no longer seeing patients for regular dental care. We have left the practice as she was the reason we stayed. They have beautiful facilities, but I was tired of seeing a different hygienist in training at every cleaning appointment. We went to a different local dentist and both my daughters required multiple fillings due to cavities - despite going for regular cleanings and checks at De Liefde. Dr. Maartje is so kind, patient, and wonderful. My 5 yo loves going to see her. After her last visit, my daughter told me she wants to be a dentist like Dr. Maartje.

The clinic looks very nice, modern and clean. However, the service felt very rushed and when I came in the first time the dentist barely asked any questions. I was looking for a second opinion, but left rather disappointed. Also, I would have liked a thorough explanation, instead of assuming I know the process.

Great experience with Mrs. Moghimi. I had to pull two wisdom teeth at the same time and the pain wasn't too bad.

When I call them you are on hold for at least 20/30 minutes. It has happened 4 times now that after waiting so long they suddenly hang up and have to call back again and I am on hold for another 30 minutes. Bad service... In addition, I come back for the umpteenth time to re-stick or replace my splint, how difficult can it be.

wisdom tooth removal is never something you look forward to, but I want to thank Dr. Meshkan for making what can be an unpleasant procedure painless and comfortable. I cannot recommend her enough.

Their practice on the Plantage Middenlaan where they unfortunately show that they only listen to the story of their employees. To put themselves in the shoes of the patient does not occur to them. As a patient of theirs for years I've never felt so unheard. Very unprofessional!!!

I cannot reccommend this practice enough! I have a fear of going to the dentist, and needed to have some wisdom teeth removed. From the moment I walked in to the practice, Dr Moghimi & the rest of the staff made me feel at home & comfortable, during the extraction process they had made me feel so at ease that we were laughing and joking together! I cannot overestimate how gentle the process was, I felt like I was in great hands and the whole thing was over before I knew it! I went in with a fear and anxiety, and by the time I had left I was already planning the next step in my dental journey as the appointment was just that easy. I also liked that as I'm a native English speaker, I was provided with aftercare advice pamphlets in English :)

very, very, unsympathetic and both times that I was there the dentist botched it completely, the boss guy had to intervene twice. never again. biological? don't make me laugh.

This is our first dentist in the Netherlands and we have found them excellent on all marks. Everyone we have interacted with have been responsive and helpful, everything has gone smoothly and easy. The facility is welcoming and well kept.

I came here for a dentist appointment and I was so impressed by the fact that they take into consideration other aspects of your health that would impact your teeth (for example diet and sleeping habits). I had been struggling with my teeth for a long time, and they immediately were able to tell me the cause of my problems and offer a way to fix it. I will be coming to this practice as long as I live in Amsterdam and I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I had my wisdom tooth removed last Friday and my cheek is barely swollen the day after (even when I got some stitches on my gum). How amazing is that! 🤩 Dr. Meshkan Moghimi and the assistant were so nice during the process, they talked me through the steps and kept me calm knowing that they are so professional. Very recommended clinic to go if you’re also a worried and overthinking type of person like me 🦷✌️

The telephone accessibility of the practice is terribly poor. My appointment with the dentist was canceled with the request to make a new appointment by telephone. I have now tried three times to get an employee on the line, been on hold for 20 to 30 minutes and when it is finally my turn the connection is disconnected. I'm not getting a call back either. I give up.

I had a great welcome. The team was both very professional and friendly. As far as I can tell from my own knowledge and research, the dentists and assistants are very knowledgeable on dental health. You can readily get measured/tested for heavy metals and that's significant for those, like myself, looking for a holistic approach to their overall health.
