Hello! I would like to inform everyone not to leave any tips in the restaurant! the park manager takes them all and goes to another restaurant to drink alcohol for them. and the restaurant employees are at work and they don't get a single cet !!!! I know that because I worked there !!!

We stayed in the park for a week with the extraordinary discoveries and it was our first stay in De Schaapskooi. The park is relatively small for a Roompot and pleasantly quiet. We had a lovely time here and will definitely come back. The access roads are both extremely bumpy and the entire park is car-free except on arrival days, so you should keep this in mind when shopping etc. Room We had the chalet SK4 No. 205 for 4 people right at the parking lot and center. Like all accommodations, it has a lot of distance from the neighbors and is in an idyllic location. There was enough space for all of our things and although everything was old, it was still in fairly good condition, so we didn't miss anything. The cleanliness upon arrival was okay and the WiFi is really very good and stable. The only thing that was annoying was an extremely unpleasant smell in the toilet, which unfortunately didn't go away for the entire week. Also, on the first evening, the smoke detector started beeping briefly every 40 seconds. Even though it was plugged in, the battery was empty. We have removed this and left a note, but it urgently needs to be replaced. Sports & Entertainment In the center area of the park there are some play and climbing equipment for children, a tennis court and a basketball/football field. In the center there is a small indoor playground, a mini market and the indoor swimming pool with a tiny baby pool (without a lifeguard). It was mostly pleasantly quiet here during our stay and we were sometimes even able to do our laps completely alone. What's strange is that there aren't even lockers for clothes and the opening times aren't very good in the middle of the week (only 3 hours a day). (January 2023)

Peaceful and cozy holiday resort equipped with multiple amenities ( indoor pool, restaurants, playgrounds, tennis court, etc.). The facilities are clean, although some upkeep would be adequate (stains on the wall). The mattress is very soft. The staff is very friendly. Overall, it is a good choice for a getaway with or without children.

First of all: The park is located in the forest. You should be aware of this beforehand. Forest brings shadows. Our accommodation (bungalow) was therefore shady. We had a pleasant sleeping environment in midsummer, but it was also quite dark during the day and a bit cool on the couch in the evening, after showering and at breakfast. However, you can get along very well without air conditioning here. Everyone has a different feeling and a different idea of vacation. Our points are roughly summarized here: Quiet, shady location in nature. Nice service. Offer for smaller children (playgrounds, entertainment,...) Car-free is no problem: you can borrow carts for transport. The barrier is opened for unloading and loading upon/before arrival/departure. The park is therefore quiet, Restaurant ok, but a bit expensive for what you get. Staff nice. Houses in a condition that is not necessarily very well maintained, but in order. The holiday accommodations just have a high fluctuation and are located in the forest. It was a bit dirty though. This should get better. Beds comfortable. Except for two of the duvets, they were also clean. We had no problems with the condition of the ground when we arrived. Everything is well asphalted. Maybe we had another route? It was actually difficult to find using Google. But our path was good! We didn't use the swimming pool. Clean laundry area. Common prices. The people here all seem very relaxed. Free entry to the nearby park "De Koperen Ezel" - an adventure farm for children. Overall we had a good time. But a week is enough.

Overall not bad considering the price. But limited availability during the week was a bit of a letdown at first. The beds also didn't work for me at first, its just too soft. Worn out.

When we arrived the house was dirty, dusty and full of spiders. They were sitting everywhere, in every corner, on the bed, and especially in the closet. First thing we did was vacuuming the whole house. The matrasses and blankets were stinking of old sweat, which was disgusting. We had to buy fabric refresher to even be able to stay in the room. A couple things were broken, like the vent in the bathroom was hanging down halfway and also the freezer door. Also the shower door was just hanging on a thread. A couple days later the front door suddenly would not close anymore and after trying a couple times, the handle got stuck and now we couldn't open the door anymore. We got a key from the reception and at least the day after someone came to fix it. The surroundings are pretty nice, the park is in a foresty area. You park your cars on a big parking lot. Just on arrival and departure days the gates are open.y

Arrival: Great parking Lot. Lots of small and bigger huts in a parkside. We have rented a king size hut (about 6x8 m²) for 4 adults, two child's and a dog, which is definitely a little bit small. But that's for family holidays ok.

We had a caravan for 6 people and we were with 5. The place had 3 bedrooms, 2 of good size and one really small. The small one had 1 bunk bed and you couldn't even open te window because the bed was in the way. The house was dirty, smelly, outdated and not really welcoming. Dust and spider webs were everywhere😟. We had booked an early check-in, but spent those hours cleaning the house 😔, a shame really. However, the area is really nice and the good weather made up for the dirty house.

Nice little park in the middle of a forest. Very helpfull staff at the reception. This park has a little play area for kids till 10 yrs old, next to it a fenced soccer/basketball field. Detached houses are spread over the park and every house has a little backyard. The interior of the house is average but good enough to spend a couple of days. Do bring tape and trash bags to cover the bedroom windows. The light yellow curtains do not keep any light out. Lots of birds sing all day long. Do rent or bring bikes, lots of bike routes to explore.

Beautifully located in the forest. Very quiet and grilling is allowed. Bungalow was clean, just needed to be properly ventilated. We had a lovely time and will definitely be back.

Accommodation was fine so far, the rooms smelled normal for a forest area, only you could hear mice and rats crawling between the walls at night. The swimming pool, which is included in the price, is just a pool without lifeguards, it smelled a bit strange, only 1 of the 3 showers was in use, the bathing fun wasn't enough, we went swimming somewhere else. No children's entertainment at this time of year. Restaurant very nicely done, see photo. There is a very small indoor playground right next to the restaurant.

Nice roompot park. It is very clear and located in the forest. The park is well maintained. The accommodation was as described and we had no complaints. We particularly liked the beautifully and detailed interior courtyard at the service center. The kids were able to play in the indoor playground while we parents were able to relax in an idyllic atmosphere. Through the roof, even possible in the rain. Navigation via Google first led us to a "forbidden" access road right next to the park, after some improvement and a small detour later we arrived. Our mistake, but it can happen to anyone, so once again pay attention to the exact address before you arrive. :)

I don't even know where to start, my list of defects is so long. In short 0 star accommodation, 2 star park/facility Accommodation; old/run down/unkempt/dangerous/mice infestation/mold/smell of mold/broken inventory Furnishings; beautiful location, quiet forest, nature, children's play facilities, small swimming pool The pictures say it all, I strongly advise against booking here, even if it is cheap. Old is one thing and it's ok, but as shabby as this is, it's outrageous. If we hadn't had family visiting, we would have left immediately. Customer service is friendly and was contacted Bungalow number 138

Been coming here for as long as I can remember and I love the park 💜 However I hope renovation of the chalets hurries a bit 😅

On 1 side of the park all of the bungalows are hired out to businesses outside the Netherlands which creates a big group of mainly all men who are often seen around the car park/near Reception. Staff very friendly, excellent bikes for hire but the mattresses were really poorly and uncomfortable. On 2 evenings we were not able to park due to lack of parking space. They really should allocate one parking space for 1 house. The area though is of outstanding beauty and great for cycling and walking but I would not choose this park again due to the fact of feeling uncomfortable with such a large scale of men in the park.

Basic cottages (or as the Dutch say:stacaravans). The cottages have all you need, a small kitchen, hot and cold water, shower, beds etc. It's sort of in a forest, and that is nice. There is a playground for kids and a small swimming pool (now in times of Corona virus you'll have to make reservations) Shop, small restaurant it's all there. There is some lack in Ambiance in the cottages, bring your own I'd advice.

Its a very good park, they made sure most cabins don't face the roads so you get more privacy, and most apliances are already there, but the oven/microwave does take a long time to heat things up, for the rest its great! And its in the woods! Very clean air!

The pictures of this park don't reflect reality. It might be due to the time of year but everything looks a bit dated. The last bit of road to the park is unpaved. Depending on how you arrive you either have a few 100m of unpaved road or more like 1.5km. I stayed in a 4 person home. It's maybe ok for 2 people and 2 children max. The layout is tiny. You enter via the livingroom and kitchen area. Some doors open against each other. The home was clean. The arrival time is 1600 which I think is a bit late. As a consequence loads of people arrive at the same time. The roads on the park are tiny, leading to a bit of a messy situation as everyone tries to find their house and unload their luggage. The roads on the park are small, it takes a bit of effort for two cars to pass, especially in corners. The area is great to walk in. Further, nice that they send you a keycard in advance.

Hey, The house was okay! The dishes were still a bit dirty. But that’s understandable if the person who hired the accommodation before didn’t pay €70 extra for the cleaning staff after they left it behind the way they did. So know that you will get the house probably the way the people before you left it. Also the swimming pool is horrifying, get some of the water accidentally in your mouth and you will taste the salt of other peoples body sweat and the products they use on their body. It doesn’t smell like a swimming pool. Some parts even smell like sewage. There were some kids activities and my daughter had fun. So that’s what counts! But don’t go here if you seek quality.

👍👍 When we read the Google reviews, we think that the reviews that are very negative refer to Rabbit Hill in Uddel. Simply because those reviews talk about things that do not occur at all at the small-scale Rabbit Hill park in Epe. We have only rented a house at the park in Epe for two weeks and are fu...
