Just had a bite to eat at Olea Restaurant at the Mariott. The restaurant itself is well thought out, everything is parallel and perpendicular and convenient for service. We went specifically to the terrace because of the stunning view. We ordered a cappuccino and Late Macchiato, two cocktails and cakes. Unsmiling and stern waiters seated us at dusty tables on country chairs. No pillows. I had to take the initiative and untie a couple of pillows from the bar stools. Coffee was served at the 21st minute. And cakes only after drinking coffee. I had to order water. The cappuccino was semi-cold, and the latte was served with a short spoon. And of course they confused who ordered what. Where do they get such waiters? A complete inconsistency with the excellent interior and chic view. But I certainly won’t pay that kind of money just for the view... I won’t have dinner at Olea.

Visited this place many times during lunch. I haven't been here at any other time. The room is excellent, the view from the window is gorgeous. Not very comfortable chairs/armchairs (maybe too subjective). Music at optimal volume. Not too intrusive and you can't hear conversations at nearby tables. The service is quite strange. The staff also seems to have two weeks of experience working from scratch without training. Sometimes all dishes and dessert are served almost immediately with minimal delay (even if you haven’t finished eating the soup), sometimes everything drags on terribly slowly. For a very long time they may simply not come up and offer to bring the bill. One time they brought me a cold steak. Minus for the service. At a business lunch, they serve quite a tasty cream soup (although almost always with some kind of crust on the surface). A couple of times instead of cream soup they served something watery with cabbage. There is so much breading on the pork that with any impact it very easily begins to scatter within a radius of 30 centimeters from the plate. It’s enough to even prick a piece of steak with a fork so that dry breadcrumbs fly in different directions. The portion is quite unbalanced towards the steak - there is not enough of everything else, there is a lot of steak in relation to everything. When a business lunch here cost 239₽, it made sense to visit this place for lunch. Now it costs about 400 rubles and all interest in this place disappears.

The restaurants (of which there are two) at the Marriot are what you would call "typical" restaurants at a large, expensive hotel. Restaurant Olea - Mediterranean cuisine. The menu is limited to three pages of food and the same number of pages of alcohol (this is a hotel restaurant!). They serve pasta, chicken, seafood and desserts. Large area, comfortable distance between tables, wide corridors, open kitchen which is pleasant to watch. Good renovation, comfortable furniture, overall nice design, very light. In the morning, the establishment operates in a buffet format and this, of course, contributes to the sense of self that arises here. It’s great to have breakfast here, it’s nice to have lunch, but I would have dinner somewhere else - for example, in a restaurant located across the wall: Grill&Grain - a restaurant for steaks, whiskey and wine. Unfortunately, it opens only in the evening, so I will be able to go there another time. At Olea I tried soup, main course, dessert and a couple of cups of coffee. On a 10-point scale, the food should be a 7. The soup was incredibly tasty, the visually pleasing presentation gave it a 10, the hot dish was a 6, I ate chicken, and subjectively it was poorly cooked. “New York” cheesecake - it’s hard to ruin it, but they didn’t succeed, the cheesecake turned out to be good, but it was missing something, so 8 points. Service 7.5! A large number of waiters who work well, but would like a little more attention, they forgot about me... My waiter was handsome, kind, bespectacled, a woman and complimented my sociability, I melted. Therefore, 0.5+ for the service, I wanted to give it a 7. In general, everyone is friendly, communicates, the impression is good, but it could be better. The atmosphere is a 6. By the way, it should be mentioned that the restaurants are located on the 7th floor with panoramic windows and a huge balcony where you can go out to take pictures (young people come up here for this, skipping the food). How could such a good pizza be ruined with such shameful cheese. It's impossible to eat. The pizza turned out to be 80% Italian - good dough, sauce, toppings... and 20% pizza, which is a shame to sell in a student canteen. All because of cheap nasty cheese... shame What kind of cheese? Kalacheevsky? Russian? No, with these cheeses you could still eat this, so to speak, “pizza”...

We ordered pizza for delivery through Yandex Food. In addition to the time delay (it was handed over to the courier later than it should have been delivered), an unpleasant surprise awaited when the box was opened. They delivered burnt pizza. I've ordered pizza many times in different places, this is the first time I've seen this.

Wonderful restaurant! Everything is very delicious! Very nice and polite staff! When we came with children, the younger one was immediately brought a highchair, and the older one a coloring book, so the wait was not accompanied by children's screams😁 They also have the most incomparable business lunches in the city and for only 349 rubles

I like it here. Always friendly staff, cozy place, beautiful view from the balcony. The menu is not very large, but there is a choice. I was delighted with the pizza)

My colleagues and I came for a business lunch, after 25 minutes and constant requests from the waiter to come to us, we left the establishment hungry!!!! In response to our complaint, the administrator said that we could wait because we only came for a business lunch. I don’t recommend this place to anyone, as you might end up hungry.
