The hotel is average, just provides you a roof for your head an a toilet for your butt. No wifi, tv is of pre historic times, no ac, rooms are in a separate building from the main hotel you will have to walk to the main building for your breakfast, staff not so friendly and it's far from red square. Go for other hotels if you have a choice.

We stayed here during the world cup in Russia for 4 nights and the stay was ok. The rooms were small but clean and cozy. The breakfast was included in the stay though it was not really good. They do not have much option for vegetarians. Location is good since it is close to the space museum and close to the main underground metro station which can take you to the center in 30 mins. All in all book this hotel if there is no other option.

Room was small, poorly lit, and not very pleasing to the eye. The shower head in the bathroom leaked water everywhere. There were no easily accessible outlets and none in the bathroom (no hairdryer or anything like that either). It included a free breakfast that wasn’t bad and it is close to a metro station so the location is good. Overall, not terrible but I wouldn’t stay there again.

Good place to stay, cheap and clean. Huge plus - very close to the underground(metro VNKH) station, about 5 minutes walk

The hotel is nice. Nice bathroom and environment. But the only problem was the internet. It was fluctuating, guess it's because many people are connected to it. Aside that, place is wow!

An old Hotel from the time of the Soviet Union, not expensive room prices, near to the metro station, the rooms are not in good condition, poor quality of Breakfast and the reception staff is not so nice.

In my opinion, the hotel "Zolotoy kolos" ("The Golden wheatear") is the best place to stay while visiting Moscow as for the price of 2700 roubles (less than 40 USD) per night you will never find a place better than this one. For that sum of comparatively small money, especially for Moscow, you get a comfortable, cosy and clean room for two persons with a quite big full-size bed that has an orthopaedic matress. The location of this place is really attractive as it's, literally, a five-minute walk (300 metres) from the underground station VDNHa. There is also a shower and a toilet in the room, free Wi-Fi, a TV set, a fridge and all the necessary furniture that you need like a wardrobe (closet), for example. The most interesting feature of this hotel is that a breakfast is included and every morning from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. you can have a substantial meal (actually, the quantity of food is limitless and a choice of various dishes is great, but, unfortunately, it's not allowed to take it away). I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Staff is very rude and not helpful Rooms aren't like the pictures on website They don't have lift till 2nd floor so you need to take your luggage through stairs till then Breakfast wasn't good also had very less options Only good thing is it's near to the center but not worth it's price

I tried to book a room from outside of Russia, and because I couldn't pay with a non-Russian card I called the reception asking whether they have a room on my dates. And a very rude lady was like "why are you calling me? Is it that hard to book on a website?" How come you are so arrogant? You work in HORECA, come on. You are loosing customers.
