You can go out of curiosity, there is even a tasting for 250 rubles. An excellent solution on a frosty day.

At what other museum do you get a welcome drink on arrival! There's a slew of interesting artefacts and tidbits of information on the history of vodka. Download the phone app and read the QR codes to hear the story. There's also drinks to buy including ciders and vodkas after you finish. The museum is small, it'll only take about 20 mins to go through, but really enjoyable. Watch the days you go however, on some days the museums are closed (there's also the bread and the chocolate museum to visit). The most days the markets are open next door, which has the cheapest and largest selection of handmade babushka folks in Moscow.

Really not worth the journey. The place was shabby and dingy and gloomy. Like time had stopped there at some point.

We wandered around the rooms with pleasure, it’s a pity that the Internet there doesn’t work very well... so the idea of scanning and listening to audio information was not a success for us personally. But then we read everything on the museum’s website. Naturally, almost everything was known, but we still enjoyed repeating (reading) it.

Museum of the History of Vodka in Moscow Visited on 7/10/2019 Museum of the History of Vodka is located within the Izmailovo Kremlin complex, a unique centre of culture and entertainment. Although all the members in my tour group are not into alcohol, we still find the visit rather interesting and informative. This is just a "boutique" museum of vodka, and therefore visitors should not expect the building to be like other museums occupying very large floor space. Russia is considered to be the birthplace of 40% alcohol proof vodka, and therefore vodka is synonymous with Russia. Many varieties of vodka are on display, in addition to many historical documents, photographs, artistic installations and the first distillation unit. We are offered a vodka tasting session, and of course visitors are welcome to purchase bottles of vodka.

The place has changed the location. Now it's a lot worse than it used to be. You go up to the third floor without elevator. You stay in a very stuffy room with no air conditioner. And then you climb down the stairs again. They had vodka tasting which wasn't good either. Three kinds of vodka - horse radish, cranberry and pine tree nuts infused vodkas. All were diluted by half with water. Beware guys. You might not like it.

Must visit for all alcohol and vodka lovers.

Its rare place to vist . This place is very smal but don't underestimate it. This has all kinds of vodka in very distinct from and shapes varying from ingenious to exotic brand all in one place. But they all are only for display purposes 😅😅😅😅. So Don't get you hope too high.

Nice museum but very small. If you're a fan of vodka bottle designs, why not, because that's really all there is to it. It seems to me that for paying a little extra there was a vodka tasting at the end. If I had to do it again, I would save my rubles for a hot chocolate ;p

(Translated by Google) Having visited the Museum of the History of Vodka, I was surprised by many interesting stories about things that the Russian people still use in their speech and actions. For example, "about 27 gurgles", front-line 100 grams, when we click on the throat, offering to drink, differing that we do not have a stamp and do not know why a person who was poured 50 grams in any tavern. There are many exhibits of vodka from all over the great Russia. Interesting comments on the TV guide, which is installed on your phone and you can listen to information about the exhibit that is interesting to you more than another. It is cognitive, interesting, I advise you to visit!

(Translated by Google) In the museum there are long-forgotten, but well-known varieties of vodka such as "Rasputin" or alcohol "Royal", even a medicinal sample of vodka on milk thistle was found ...))). There is a small tasting room in the style of the USSR, where you can drink vodka and mead .., there was one bored foreigner with three glasses of vodka on the table)))), but whoever wants to feel as if in Russia can drink in an embrace with bear ... We were delighted with the visit to the museum, there are few people, the assortment is large and interesting ... even including cologne! the sobering-up station is empty (pandemic), in general, do not drink much, take care of yourself! 🥃🥃🥃 WE RECOMMEND TO VISIT! 👍

(Translated by Google) Unmissable! Russia is the country of vodka, and through the museum it is possible to understand more of this culture so strong in Russians. The museum is small and a little difficult to find (it is located inside the Izmailovo Kremlin, which is outside the center of Moscow). On the tour you can enjoy tasting at an affordable price. There are people who speak English and can explain the drinks and the history. I recommend it for young people and adults.
