The Butterfly House has 2 halls: one with real butterflies, the other with an aquarium with a scorpion, spiders, and also many panels with dried butterflies and other insects. In the first hall, butterflies fly freely; you can take a piece of fruit and try to catch a butterfly with it. The hall seemed small and sparse to me, but the child (2.5 years old) liked it, and this is the most important thing. The older children were also happy. In my opinion, the ticket price could be lower, and children under 3 years old could be admitted for free. The session lasts 50 minutes. The fine for a crippled butterfly is 1000 rubles. Payment is accepted in cash or by transfer. There you can buy various souvenirs and, if I'm not mistaken, live butterflies.

Small but very cute

We were with a child! The child is delighted! The butterflies are wonderful, they land on a person and you can feed them an orange. We looked at reptiles and ant houses. We bought a Butterfly Farm to try raising butterflies ourselves at home. I recommend it to everyone.

You are given 50 mins to walk around a tiny room with butterflies. The idea seems entertaining however the butterflies them selves did not looked that cared for, half of them had visibly teared wings. There were only about 3-4 types of butterflies around flying so it wasn't like you can see many different sorts of them. The space of the room itself is tiny so you can definitely go in and out of there in 15-20 mins however the ticket is quite pricey so you feel like you should stay there for longer but it gets boring quite fast..my kid nor myself were too impressed.

I visited the place three times within several years. Looks like the variety of butterflies goes down. Still every time me and my friends are full of an excitement and joy while playing with those beautiful creatures.

The place is wonderful, I had a great time. I recommend visiting the butterfly house at VDNKh. Especially with children, I'm sure they will like it.

When I was there it was still under construction, but you could still get in. It is a room in which butterflies fly around freely; you can lure them to you with orange slices, or many have smeared honey on their fingers so that they land directly on you. Well, it’s really a disaster for a lot of money. One uncomfortable room with half-dead butterflies. We've been there before. It was cozy tropics. I do not advise.

Incredibly cool feeling! We went to the butterfly house, and then we went to see the reptiles. I took a photo with one snake. I liked everything very much, a lot of impressions. For 1000 rubles (entrance ticket to the Butterflyarium) I would like to get into not just a room with artificial grass and artificial plants, home flowers in pots, but into a glass greenhouse where you can see the sky, with tropical plants planted in the ground.
