Diese Zweigstelle ist eine kleine Enttäuschung. Echt klein und unter dem Namen erwartet man etwas anderes. :( Als wir da waren, war nur eine Etage mit Exponaten geöffnet, welche in 5min gesehen war. Nachdem man nix bezahlt hat trotzdem ok.

Lovely place with a good selection of exhibitions. It's situated in a very comfortable place, just near metro. And the staff matches the exceptions- old aka Soviet ladies among modern art.

The gallery was very limited, only 2 small exhibitions. The exhibits themselves were too obscure for my liking and I was unconfortable the whole time, couldn't leave faster.

No noteworthy piece of western art, no famous russian artists either. Mainly trash, photographs and film, very likited paintings. Don't easte your time here!

I visited the Shepard Fairey exhibition. The selection of works per se was good to be honest, with many works that I really like. Nevertheless, Fairey’s work and selection of anti capitalist rhetoric, viewed from Moscow, was a missed chance at best, or an act of complicity at worst. One gets out of the show with the feeling that the Kremlin’s rhetoric is spot on: “the s*** that we have over here is no worse than the s*** that they have over there,” and that’s as fake as a $3 bill. Baseline: The Moscow MoMA and Fairey landed a hand (willingly or not) to the local regime. All the people I went with (Russian or otherwise) had this same exact feeling. This implies that I don’t expect much form the MoMA, and I would not recommended it: just another mouthpiece of the regime, hence definitively not a good museum.

Small but good museum with selected pieces of modern art from Russian artist and not only, it worth to visit it. There's a small book shop inside where to buy also books of art.

That is really a great gallery. It is located in the heart of Moscow, so it is quite comfortable to reach it. It has different buildings in different locations, but the choice of exhibitions is very good in each of them. The last exhibition that I visited was a photo exhibition of Steve Mccurry, that impressed really a lot.

Highly disappointing, not only the exhibition occupies just one floor of the building, but the leaflet is available only in Russian, this making the visit pointless. A waste of time and money.

Nice place and manageable collection of modern art, will not take much time.

I just didn't want to visit places like where everyone usually goes. So I mean I didn't follow normal travel guidebook rules and It was my best decision to make. MMOMA, espeicially located in Гоголевский Ьульвар, offered Yankilevsky retrospective at that time!
