The food was good, but everything else was a bad experience. They messed up our order and my friends’ order and then blamed us for getting it wrong. They completely forgot to add a burger and then told my friend who ordered a cheeseburger that it was her fault for ordering the wrong thing when she received something else. It also took a very long time to get our food. I do not think it is worth coming here and waiting for food just to be talked down to by the staff. Also, the bathrooms were out of soap and very dirty.

Pretty good burger and tots. Place was very cool. Service was fast and friendly. The only thing I didn't like was the shake. I ordered chocolate chip but it tasted like butterscotch.

Good grief this place is amazing. There are a bunch of young girls running the place and the most refreshing thing is that every one of them are outgoing and personable. That is becoming a rare thing these days. This is an old school burger joint that I am positive has been here a lot longer than the roundabout just out the window. It is amazing to me that so few people seem to know how to merge in to and back out of a roundabout. Thirty-five years ago they installed one just south of the Jackson Municipal Airport and the people there had it figured out in no time. Everyone likes to poke fun at people from Mississippi but I swear they are smarter than any of these idiots that come to a complete stop. Geezo beezo! Anyhow, like I was saying, the food and the atmosphere here is amazing. Give Health Camp Burgers a try today. And the banana split shake. Your mouth will love you! (Later) I stand corrected...the Circle has been here in Waco for a really long time. I wonder if the people way back then came to a complete stop and waited forever to go like they do today?

A Waco original, Health Camp has been in operation on the famous Circle since 1949. The retro charm of a walk-up window burger joint and the fun 50s music inside will take you back to a simpler time. I had a cheeseburger and tots that were good, not the best in town, but good enough. That chocolate malt, though, was divine. Get it. This is worth a stop to take a selfie and say you did!

It’s the nostalgia of the place. What I will say… the burger was perfectly cooked, juicy & hot. While the burger was juicy and buns were toasted lovely… the actual patty lacked flavor. The French fries were my favorite part of the meal. Prices are cheap. The restaurant is clean. The staff was pleasant & helpful.

Great burger, juicy and full of flavor. The onion rings were awesome we ordered some more after we ate. The shakes are just thick enough to eat them with a spoon but can still drink them with a straw. Try the strawberry cheesecake snake goes perfect with the burger. Old school vibe with a nice staff.

I use to LOVE coming here! My friend drive an HOUR to get their food and I have NEVER been so disappointed. The chicken is MAYBE 1/4 of the size it used to be. And it has me feeling sick!! I don't know what happened within the half year sense Ive been but it's AWFUL!

If you can survive the round about, you can be rewarded with great tasting cheeseburgers, Corn dogs, grilled cheese, tater tots, fries, shakes and malts! Great tasting food, friendly customer service. Restaurant with a nostalgic appeal. Oldies music, pics on the walls, smallest bathroom you've ever seen, but that's not why your there after all!😊 highly recommend! Enjoy!

A local old-school favorite in Waco! Expect the most amazing and juicy old fashioned burgers and a large selection of milkshakes! For years when I was a kid I thought this place sold actual health foods 😂 what they actually serve is FAR better lol the taste and flavor will not disappoint!

Worth the stop if you love burgers, shakes and fries. Would visit again. Cheap eats and probably some of the best food stops in Waco.

Health Camp is a classic! The burgers are delicious & just what one would expect hot off the grill of a roadside diner. Sit a spell inside and enjoy the nudges of nostalgia as you spoon down a scrumptious shake & take in the tunes wafting over the air waves. The staff is engaging & hospitable. Take this turn on the Waco Traffic Circle. You’ll be glad you did.

This place has always been great. Gotta love an old timey burger joint named Health Camp! The fries are not salted (you do get salt packs), the amount of bacon on their burgers is a darn good amount, and excellent malt shakes. The staff is friendly, and come to check to make sure you like the food. You can order at the window and eat in your car, or dine-in. Oldies music playing, historical photos and such on the walls. Cool diner. My great-grandparents started coming here and we've been coming ever since. They've been in business for 74 years. Gotta be doing something right!

The burgers are delicious. Classic greasy burger, exactly what you want it to be. If they were a little more filling this would easily be five stars. The tables are a little small, so not great for huge groups, but on pleasant days you can sit outside or take it to go!

Throwback to college days at Baylor University and the food is just as memorable! Bacon Cheeseburger is my favorite. I chose not to order the chocolate shake this go. Advise to go hungry and order the fries and a shake!

One of the best burgers in Waco. The fries are good and the milkshake options top off the meal! Can’t believe I’ve lived here for over a year now and it took me this long to try it. What a cute atmosphere too! We’ll be back! Often 😉

I've lived in Waco for about ten years and I finally got around to trying Health Camp. Located right off the Waco circle, this small building has awesome old school appeal, it's like stepping back in the past. There's more seating inside than I expected. The burger and tots were awesome. I wanted the onion rings, but they said they were out because they are working on battering them fresh in house again. My girlfriend and I shared a chocolate malt, it was thick and delicious. They have A LOT of flavors to choose from. I will definitely be back, thanks for a great birthday dinner.

Best place I've ever been to in my life!!!!! Everything was served and delivered perfectly! I loved everything and was not disappointed at all! I went on Friday and I went Saturday and tried to go Sunday (but it was closed) but I would go every single day if it was open! This place has my heart wrapped around their finger.

Absolutely amazing. Great food and a friendly staff. Burgers were perfect, fries were solid, shakes were delicious, iced tea was, iced tea. Thanks for a super lunch after the TAPPS state cross country meet.

The burger was pretty good the fries were just alright tho. I haven’t had the opportunity to try the shakes yet so I may re-adjust later on

Really glad we just randomly stopped in here, the onion rings are awesome, and the shakes are even better than they look, and they look awesome!!! Highly recommended banana pudding milkshake
