The ultimate park for sport, play and pooches. Perfect for that morning walk or the weekend stroll with a flat white in hand. Beautifully patched with blooming baby pōhutukawa trees and lush west Auckland grasslands. Our dog loved it and you will too

Good fun, plenty of car parks. although the safety chains on the swings inhibit use for adults, it makes it nearly impossible to use

Great location for walks or the playground/basketball court for the kids. Offers stationed exercise equipment at the top by the playground. Usually has events here in the summer. Also a great place to watch the sunset. Lots of parking. The only thing I'm not sure about is where/if there are public toilets.

Fun playground, suitable for all ages, would definitely recommend this. Definitely one of my favourites parks to go to once in awhile.

Gets busy during weekends for all kind of games that can be played. Good area to cover up or run through for health and fitness purposes. Location is good, Parking around is not an issue and seems safe too.

Been here for several events. Situated her eis the Hoani Waititi marae that opens its doors to everyone, henceforth, most people call this their marae or turangawaewae. They have events like Famiky support for flood victims, Waitangi Day celebrations, parties and other main events that require large gatherings. It caters for it all. Nice big playground. Skate park, basketball courts, electric scooters, and lots of grass areas to pitch a gazebo and set up a BBQ. Awesome park.

Nice park to just watch football games or people watch while seated on the bench on a laid back morning. I love the fact that its a complete leisure park and sport venue with a cafe inside.

Great playground, great for kids cycling, great sports fields. You can't go wrong here. Be careful though, this is West Auckland after all. Generally safe, but there are always exceptions.

A nice place to walk my dog... big, flat paved footpath, trees, fields, people. Nice atmosphere. Plenty of parking. Children's playground, basketball hoops, exercise trail etc. Something for everyone.

Went there to watch my sons play football (soccer). It's been a few years since i was last there. The facilities are excellent and are very popular, if the numbers of people there today is any indication. The park doesn't just cater for football, there are playgrounds and fitness stations that seem popular, they weren't there last time I visited. It's a great asset as a green space out west. I'm never disappointed whenever I visit.

Better ground than lots of other local grounds for football. Artificial ground needs a bit of repair now, but overall, I would give 4 out of 5

A great park friendly people and canines. Love how people use common sense around distancing (except around the basketball courts 👀) just know if you've never been here it is very busy, I wouldn't travel afar to come here when your local parks are probably just as good but none the less for the community this park is near perfect. Toilets need self opening doors though and maybe touch less water fountains to drink and fill bottles from since there are ALOT of people who walk this park..daily..Council👀👍

This is another park that has pockets of scenic backgrounds for you to snap some great pics. An opportunity for visual memories to be made. Multiple fields, basketball courts and spread out play equipment are great for "kids of all ages" to enjoy. A pleasant path encompassing the entire (well maintained) grounds also provides a lovely setting for a smooth ride/walk/run/cycle around the park, which is also dotted with exercise equipment here and there. Nice setting. Good facilities. Has basketball courts, exercise equipment and paths for the kids to ride a bike. It’s an easy place to walk the dog and take the buggy plus it has a playground although the slides are best left for the bigger kids.

We always drive past Parrs Park. It is a childhood signpost. Finally took kids there as appeared to have older children playground. Kids absolutely loved it. High enough climbing structure and slide, older kids swings.

Big park, there's plenty of parking out the front of the play ground with toilets on site. They were pretty grubby but there's always lots of people there so there very well used. The playground itself has slides swings a small moving water play thing 2 net swings and other items on a bark ground. There's a basketball court, skate Ramps, a bike track, outdoor fitness equipment, cricket batting cages dotted around the park with a big walking track that loops around connecting everything. Very busy area and only going to get worse as there planning subdivisions all around the park. The grass fields are used for sports and school activities along with small fitness groups a well used space for the people.

Waitangi Day Celebrations at Parrs Park. Great food, music, and crowd est 20 - 30,000. Thank You Hoani Waititi Marae and Waipereira Trust for hosting and managing the event Mauri Ora.

One word. AMAZING. Parrs park has everything for a fun filled exercise time. To start there is 9 different exercise equipment that caters for all muscle groups and first time to super fit people who want to exercise on gym equipment. Do not forget the foot path circuling the park. There is 5 soccer fields a rugby and two cricket fields. 4 basketball courts.A large high energy play area for young Ones from 1 yr upwards. Enough toilets and water points. Enough parking area to fill a stadium. Do not forget the swimming pool and for dog lovers a very wooded safe area where dog lovers and their dogs can roam freely around.

Great park that has a bit of everything to offer. My toddlers love the playground and going for walks here.
