Park

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Beautiful park with well tended gardens looked after by a volunteer group. Recently refurbished children park is great for the little ones. I go regularly to walk my dog and relax. Thereโ€™s a beautiful old oak tree thatโ€™s over 200 years old, well worth a visit People often mention park, play, pond, kids, area, children, great, walk, lovely, ducks,

This is a lovely park. There is a pond with ducks, a skate park and a play park. There are large grassy areas too. The play park was having work done to it today so was not accessible. It is a great spot and will be even better when the park is finished.

Gorgeous little park. Plenty of space & a great play area for kids. There is also a skate park which was being well-used by some of the kids. Really lovely little pond with a few ducks to feed as well. Everyone seemed happy! A free afternoon for the kids in the Summer Hols!

Nice little gem in purston with wheelchair access lovely gardens conker trees and apark and duck pond. However the water isn't safe as there's blue and green algae. Cmon wakefield councilors.. you got your park sorted now spend some money in the villages.

I have been to this little park for children a few times now, and I must say, I really like it! The park has all-new equipment that's perfect for babies and toddlers, which is great because my 1-year-old and 3-year-old absolutely loved it. There's also plenty to keep the bigger kids entertained. The only downside is that there's no lock on the gate, so you have to be careful, especially since there's easy access to the lake. Speaking of the lake, it's lovely and even has ducks that you can feed. Despite the gate issue, it's been a wonderful experience for us each time we've gone. Close by also is a skate park.

Great local park, with a decent looking play area for children plus a skateboard ๐Ÿ›น park. I as a dog ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿถ walker love the open space to throw balls around.

A small park containing a pond playing fields, some small copses and a playground. Recently, a new tarmac path around the park has been added. Fitness equipment has also been installed around this path. A new Veterans centre has opened by the carpark. The children's playground has been renovated.

Great park. Nice space to walk around and lots of space to play games. Has a duck pond (albeit there is reported blue green algae in it). The play area is really nice, kids loved playing there. Would be a great park to go for a jog around as there are fitness stations all around the park that allow you to do exercises, the kids loved playing on them and trying out the various different exercises.

This park has had new equipment added and is super, lovely little lake with ducks. No toliets as far as I know. Well cared for. My kids love to come play here.

Lived in the area most of my life but never really been. Today that changed and I was surprised with how nice it was. Probably nicer than pontepark (minus the horse racing).

This is a popular public park, plenty of green space to walk. The playground has recently had new equipment which is a mix that is suitable for children of all ages. There is a pond with ducks that like to be fed.

The renovated children's play area has something for various ages and is very good. I really think there needs to be some sort of surveillance to prevent it from being damaged. The few flower beds are nice. The duck pond is a bit boring .. could do with some bushes around it. Good that there are open areas for dogs to run off the lead. Great that there are quite a few seats along the footpaths.
