Second time coming here in a week and I LOVE everything about this place. Very clean, Modern, food tastes out of this world and the service from Fatima is 10/10 amazing! She goes above and beyond to cater to your needs whilst also being so welcoming and getting to know you. She remembered us from the last time and asked where the children were. It's all about the Little things. Their salad with pomegranate is sooo tasty! The falafel and rice everything has so much flavour. Great option of drinks too!

Thought I'd give this place a go and was not disappointed, immaculately clean , staff are very welcoming and well mannered friendly and helpful, took me back a bit because its on the site of the exchange pub which stood their in the late 80s and early 90s. We booked but you could walk in and grab a table , the food is stunning, we had complimentary bread and dips to start , I went for the castello chicken wings with half and half with side salad and my better half went for the boneless chicken breast with rice and salad 👍

Highly recommend this restaurant. All the food was delicious and portions were reasonable. Had the mixed starter which included a good variety. The sirloin steak was cooked exactly as ordered (Rare to Medium rare) . Mocktails were great. The service was excellent and facilities were clean

I Visited Castellos one weekday afternoon to catch up with a friend. I have been previously, however, this instance I wanted to try new things on the menu. For starters, I had the moussaka which was pleasent and had a nice taste to it. I found it was best with the flatbread they provide. My friend enjoyed her houmous with shawarma. I would get this again next time. For our main, my mixed grill was really nice. Nothing new from what I had before, but for lunch on a Thursday afternoon, it does just fine. The shish kebab I took as takeaway at home. It was just as nice as the grill chicken and lamb pieces I had in the restaurant. My friend found the chicken wrap okay. Overall, I would return here. It was a nice atmosphere and the staff were attentive. In addition, the food was of good standard 4/5

After reading reviews our family decided to try it and happy we did. Nice friendly staff, good service, food and cocktails for the price are amazing. Highly recommended. Before we leave Cardiff we definitely will come back.

Great service polite ,respectful and so well mannered and efficient. the food was excellent a delight for the taste buds. Drinks a little expensive but definitely will return absolutely loved it.

For starters we had Moutabel, which was not at all what we expected. It was a big mush, topped with herbs that tasted like pencil sharpener. 😬 Thr pita was too thin and didn't have any flavour. For mains we went for the chicken a la cream and the spicy shawarma dish. For sides we ordered Greek salad with no olives, but it came with olives and the herbs on top of it again like a pencil sharpener. We also ordered a side of fries. The atmosphere was nice and staff lovely, but both chicken dishes were huge and i could barely finish one. Minus the herb spices the meal was quite nice. I like jow the mushroom sauce went with both rice and chicken. The herbs really ruined the salad. The mocktails were both amazing, but when you go towards the end you can't get the juice through the straw because of the bits so it's a bit annoying, but still loved that!

The food wasn't great, but it did come in large portions. The Flying Burger has close to no flavour and the chicken is quite litteraly white. The Kufta tasted like it has been kept in the freezer for a year and the Chips were weirdly dry. The Waitresses were good and let us swap tables, so the service was great.

Really nice place for shisha. Very chill and welcoming place and the service was amazing. The drinks were lovely and the shisha was the best. Highly recommended, we'll defo be back!

Just to be clear: this is not a bad restaurant. The food is okay. But it is not as good as it used to be in 2021. Back in that time, the food was full of flavor; just the rice alone was delicious. The chicken shawarma was incredible. The garlic sauce. The bread. Everything tasted authentic, just as I eat it in my home country. Even the packaging was better. I don't know what changed since that time, but it's not the same anymore. It seems to have more oil and less flavor. it is still an acceptable restaurant and I still order from it every once in a while, but I just wish it would go back to that high quality that it used to have a few years ago.

Got recommended by a friend and it didn’t disappoint, food was beautiful, lamb shish was cooked to perfection and the presentation was amazing. Portions were good size and pricing was cheap for what you got. Staff friendly and can’t do enough. Me and the partner loved it and will be back and I will be recommending you to others! Keep the service and quality like you got it and you will be thriving.
