PLEASE SEE LATEST EDIT AT BOTTOM. Xercise4Less Belle Vale is a huge gym located on the roof above Belle Vale shopping centre. It has excellent parking facilities and is open until 10pm on week days and 8pm at weekends. For the most part, the gym makes good use of its impressive floor space, with a good free weights area, a wide range of plate-loaded and stack weight machines, two full sized cable machines and two smaller functional training cable machines, a huge cardio area and a large spinning section. There's also an open area that can be used for stretching, functional training, yoga, etc. You'd be impressed with all that for £11.99 per month, but there's also a boxing ring, punch bags, an MMA cage, a large separate room for their scheduled classes, a bodyweight straps section and an area with some additional benches and kettlebells. Oh! They also have a separate women's training room. EDIT: Unfortunately this gym has really gone down hill in the past few months. Basic equipment is tatty or missing and not being replaced and some machines have been broken for months with no sign of being repaired. Staff are not very helpful or interested when you point out that there aren't enough hooks for the cable machines, which has been the case for ages now. It's just not good enough and not what I signed up for. The changing rooms are dirtier these days too and lots of the lockers are broken. I've been forced to travel further to the Hunts Cross branch just to get a decent workout. EDIT (5th May, 2018). I STRONGLY recommend you avoid getting into a contract with these criminals. I called the gym a month before my contract was up and was told it had already been cancelled internally. This meant my details were not on the system and so I was unable to obtain the W number they ask for to complete the cancellation online. I cancelled my direct debit after the final payment I owed them went out and now have Harlands debt collectors telling me I'm in arrears. Absolute joke. This is how they make their money, by forcing people into arrears and adding additional fees. It's a semi criminal organisation and I'd highly advise joining PureGym instead.

Cancellation process is terrible no help at all and now I have to pay £30 a month for 3 months to pay charges I incurred for cancelling and then put my request in to cancel and that will take 3 months . I can’t go the gym as I have 2 kids and work of an evening and I’ve been a loyal customer to the gym for 4 and a half years. I would say the gym is great and classes are good value for money if you never want to ever cancel it and want to me a member until you die. Really disappointed in the service and this has definitely jaded my experience with exercise4less. Not normally one for leaving reviews either but the situation has annoyed me immensely.

The gym is fantastic.. loads of equipment to use and even has a barbers inside! However the gym itself is starting to look a little bit shabby - don't get me wrong it's very clean but could do with a lick of paint and also the letters on the windows need replacing as they've peeled off.

Gym is great value for money. Nervous starter but know have confidence to go to free weight area and discovered lots of new (to me) great machines. Look forward to going and hate missing now. Gym is spotless and spacious, staff not in your face. Only negative it gets so hot, no air con.

Been training here for 18 months, loads of cardio machines and weights. I hate gyms where everything is all squashed together, but this is all very well spaced. The staff are sound, the place is always clean and there's a good general atmosphere. The only negatives for me, the poor air-con for those hot summer days, it can get quite stifling. Could probably do with a few more attachments for the cable machines, ropes mainly.

Friends asked me about this gym recently and I thought it would make a good review here. I had one monthly payment not go out by accident and instead of notifying me this happened in anyway (no phone call, email, texts, voicemail) my missed payment was sent off to a 3rd party debt collector where I had to call them only for a snarky man to tell me I had to pay as it had "changed hands to his company now". I would like to point out in no way I had a problem paying the monthly fee but he then told me I had as well as being billed £10 monthly fee I will be recieving a £60 contract breech fine and when I said "no I refuse to pay this" it was then upped to £120. It was eventually sorted and brought down to the initial £60 only. surfice to say I cancelled earliest opportunity and never went back because I felt embarrased by the way they treated me over a £10 membership fee. tl;dr: I missed one monthly payment that I could've payed at anytime because it was automated and Xercise4Less decided to send it to a bailiff company instead of telling me a payment was due which caused me to pay £70 instead of £10. *edit Forgot to add this was a few years ago now.

Xercise4less have emailed its members to say that refurbishment is under way, which is well needed. It's getting better but most of the cable machines still require some maintenance. Let see what happens over the coming weeks.

Cancellation of gym membership process is nightmare. Been paying this gym each and every month on direct debit without fail . I havnt been able to get there for health reasons ! And have now finally cancelled sending letter from my doctor supporting my reasons to cancel. However, this gym Still continue to send generic e mails and texts advising me to pay rest of money And that I may also have to pay an admin fee ! What a total rip off If anything this gym should be reimbursing me for non use of their facilities ! And poor customer service. When I also queried this with the receptionist initially, her attitude was arrogant an rude. So think twice about signing a contract they literally tie you into for 12 months !!

Lots of cardio equipment, always something available. Boxing ring, MMA cage, fitness hall, weights room, ladies only area, showers, toilets and lockers are all available. Gym is kept clean, always see cleaners working. Membership is on the cheaper side too!

It rhymes with QUALITY4LESS and SERVICE4LESS Refunds and the quality of the Exercise4less company in general : Customer services advised me that I will get my refunds in 3 or 5 working days, they even change it as "refunded" on the 4fiit website. But they never did it and I didn't see the money on my bank account. Now they just ignore me even if I can prove that my bank account has never been refunded. When you want to cancel your subscription : they ask for a 31 days notice (as written in the terms and conditions of the contract...). Probably to be able to take money from you once more even if you don't go to the gym anymore.

I'm reviewing the staff as opposed to the gym, the man on reception "speedy"? Was exceptionally helpful and funny. Sean the PT doing the induction for my dad and not ramming the machines down a 65 yr old man's throat. And Nathan, the PT who trains my 13 year old son in boxing declaring " I won't train him if his grades slip"...music to a mum's ears. I never thought I'd review a gym but your staff are exceptional!!

Standard community gym chain, good amount of equipment, can be busy at certain times through the week (which can't be helped) some machines are requiring some maintenance (but I think this is getting done over time as there has been a slight increase in memberships)
