Went to it on opening day now its reopened, quite nice very friendly and I think it will do well once things settle down.

It's my local, even though there are at least 5 pubs and bars a lot nearer to where I live. It's a 15 minute walk, but I feel so comfortable there. It's a really friendly place and the live music is excellent! I love going to the Open Mic night - it's the most supportive one I've ever been to. Anything goes! I haven't tried the food yet, so I can't comment on that.

Best pub in the area. Been coming here for God knows how long. Great pints, nice and comfortable, sports. Everything you could want in a pub.

Little gem of a place with a nice relaxed atmosphere. Barb behind the bar is friendly and welcoming making it a great night where you feel totally at ease. We will definitely visit again.

This pub is quite dead nowadays. There are no real standards anymore. Or staff with great personalities it's not the best place to hang out as the quality customers that used to frequent it are not there anymore sad but the sign of the times I suppose

I used to work here over 20 odd years ago, I left in '99 to join the Navy, been meaning to go back all these years. This used to be a great pub, had great times with the customers and staff aswell as Sandra and Stuart the owners. I wonder what happened to everyone.

I recently visited the Clarence in Wallasey and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the great atmosphere in the pub. The beer selection was excellent and the staff, particularly the landlord and landlady, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I have to give a special shout-out to Trevor and Georgie for their hospitable nature. They truly made me feel at home and went out of their way to ensure that I had a great time. It's clear that they care deeply about their patrons and it really shows in the way they run their pub. Overall, I highly recommend the Clarence in Wallasey for anyone looking for a great pub with good beer, friendly staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. It's a true gem!

Nice friendly pub, live music and excellent food and highly recommended Sunday lunch you don't need to book but get there early-ish or you may have to wait. Nice outside garden, with heated shelters for smokers.

This is a nice friendly local pub with friendly and knowledgeable staff, which stocks a good range of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. Hot food can also be provided on a regular basis. The pub lays on a quiz night on a weekly basis, well worth popping in for a pint.

First time and definitely won't be last for Sunday lunch Food was fresh and real veg and meat food portion sizes also were excellent The pale ale selection was lovely.... A bit too lovely as had 4 pints Will be back next week I think

Great food at very reasonable prices. The staff are incredibly friendly and a nice atmosphere in the pub. Ate here 2 nights on the run. Recommend ☺
