First time at a theme park and the pleasure beach offered a truly great experience. All the rides were unique in their own way, and most (newer ones) were very thrilling and smooth. Place was kept very clean and all the staff were nice and friendly. Good value for the price - a set price and was able to go on any ride and amount of times. The app helped knowing the length of waiting times. Plenty of food and drink at reasonable prices. Including some gift shops scattered around. Overall, the pleasure beach was an amazing experience and I would certainly be going again.

Crazy games. Many of the rides here are very old but the do the job. You will hear cracking noises all the time from the rides but they still work fine. I was terrified as I was riding most of them as it was my first time in the park. I would go again with my friends. There are not many thematic activities or cartoon characters but there is an area for little kids. There is Burger King and other places to get food/drinks from. What really puts me off is that there was a lady who is a little on the bigger size and she couldn’t get on one of the rides. But I saw the same lady getting on other rides. So I guess there should be bigger seats to accommodate everyone. Also, few of the rides, you have to climb stairs which means if someone has a disability or on a wheel chair may not be able to get on them.😒 I am sure the park management could do a lot more to be more inclusive.

Definitely worth it. As this was introduction to theme park rides, I can say this park as an assortment of rides that will offer you value for your money. There are rides for families and children and older people to share together. Well they must offer value for money if they have been here for 125 years right??🤔😊 Enjoy!!!

A true definition of fun, thrill and amusement. A gigantic ride on park that gets adrenaline pumping. Games, merry go rounds, super high speed roller coasters, boat cruise, tower lift, good meals, all sorts of fun games and rides. The place is well situated, very neat and spacious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The ticket takes you in and you can use it for all the rides. Safety is paramount as little kids are subjected to height measurement before using certain rides. A true value for the money. Kids love it so much. I will definitely recommend to family and friends and return back some other time. Great fun!

Great family day out. Kids loved it. Nostalgic to see some of the old classics still going. QR code scanning to get in, great idea. Having to scan on some rides a bit of a pain, as all on Husband's phone ( because he booked) he wasn't always on all the rides and some the kids just went on but needed to take his phone. Must be an easier way?

You know it’s lovely to visit Blackpool to see the lights walk the prom and grab a chip shop take out and sit and watch the waves 🌊 or go up the tower for a view. Lots of shows on and gigs to attend there’s something for everyone in Blackpool area the weather can be bad as it’s the northwestern uk but it can also be very good in the summer months but the lights are an autumn festival.

We booked online, there’s loads of choices for some type of discount, whether it be booking in advance, using Tesco Clubcard vouchers, (you get 3 times the value of your Clubcard vouchers towards entry to Blackpool Pleasure Beach), or even via 10% off due to who you work for, (BPB has a list of companies who they offer 10% discount for, Google it and you will see the list and links for discounted entry). We chose to book using Tesco Clubcard vouchers, which was really straightforward. We visited on a day that felt like many storms and it rained for hours, (BPB no longer offer the rainy day money back guarantee), however all the rides were on, (except those stated at the time of booking due to re-tracking). Queues were non-existent, most rides were straight on. If you pre-book, you will be required to upload a photo. You’ll receive an e-ticket with a QR code, you will be required to use your smartphone to get on all rides, (you scan your QR code for entry to the park and rides). You can get a wristband if you are having issues with your phone…you’ll need to speak to guest services at the time of your visit. In my party there were 2 adults and 2 children. The park caters for everyone, from the extreme thrill rides to the quality family/children’s rides. The hi-lights for me were: Revolution, it was really windy climbing those steps, it was a ride in itself…but also the ride for me was immense. I’ll mention the staff towards the end. The other ride was Wallace & Gromit’s Thrill-O-Matic, this is a quality family ride that’s definitely worth a second time on during your visit. All the wooden coasters were a must! Again further discounts were available whilst in the park, 10% was offered for season pass holders, but again it was also offered if you worked for one of those companies on the list previously mentioned. You get discounts off things like food & drink, the gift shop and photos, (I believe there is more, when you look on the website it will show you the list), it was straightforward to get too, no messing around at the time of the transactions. So I’ve got to say, the staff on the day were all amazing! World class customer service! Everyone was really friendly and helpful…bear in mind, the constant wind and rain…the staff all made the difference. I think BPB really have hit the jackpot with their staff this season. Everyone took time to make sure our experience was the best, actually better than it could be. Nothing was too much…ice cream machines were turned on and filled (yes, I know…my daughter wanted an ice cream in the middle of a storm). Ride operators all had a great sense of humour, the ones on Revolution and Blue Flyer stood out…but also the staff greeting us at the main entrance/security, the Scottish gentleman was really funny! I personally came here because of some tough times in my life…for those 6 hours, I forgot all about them, I was in another world. Thank you Blackpool Pleasure Beach for making some wonderful memories for me and my family and for taking away some personal pain for the day. We will return this season!

It was a rough summer for this business I'm sure, as the weather was horrible... We visited the theme park last Saturday. The park opened promptly, but the roller coasters and other fairs started to operate much later, some of them until 12 pm. This caused very long queues elsewhere. A bottle of water (500ml) costs £2. Where there are so many people water should be free (tap water). Most (if not all) the catering facilities only sold diet drinks with artificial sweeteners. Horrible! If someone visit this park with cancer (like myself) I only could have water, as sweeteners are not allowed. Another issue was the Big One ride. They kept close all day regards to the wind. WIND!? It was absolutely clear, hot weather after months. The staff at the rides were really friendly and helpful. Spot on! A little bit annoying the check in system at each rides but understandable! Altogether a great place to visit! First time was with the famous Icon.. Really great ride with lot of surprises. Food is really provided by wide range. Not as expensive as we expected. Make sure you arrive earlier because the lack of parking lots nearby. A 10 hrs parking is £10 on the street (full length of the Ocean Boulevard). There are plenty of private car parks, too. Still great weather forecast for the week. Go and visit! Have fun!

Blackpool pleasure beach is the ultimate getaway spot for your summer long weekend. You can choose to go on rides which will look like you are descending into the beach in itself. You will be amazed on how much the water line has receded back in the morning when compared to the evening. There are 3 piers and each one of them has a lot of fun activities. The walk way from train station is very big. If you enjoy walking along the beach lines, it will be a pleasant walk. You can experience horse chariots in the roads amongst the busy traffic.

Had the best time ever ! Rides are impressive and are plenty to choose from, lots of places to eat and the place is kept very clean and tidy. The prices are fair (around 40£ for a day pass if you book online) and the staff are always there to help you with anything you might need. "The Big One" is definitely worth trying, even for people who are afraid of heights ! Totally loved it !

Took my son we stayed all day loved it. Went on the Grand National 12 times. Not advisable for a man of my age as ended up with whip lash and a hospital visit but my son was made up with the day. A great day out for everyone but maybe not 12 times again!!! Ques weren't massive as schools were back but all rides were working and fun.

It's a small theme park with 100 years old roller coaster, which is really amazing. It is the best attraction for the young crowds to have fun here. There are entry fees for it, and you can have full day fun if you are looking for a theme park but not a grand one. Opposite to it is a very peaceful beach with benches provided to sit and relax. If you are at this very place in early hours, you can relax yourself with the melodious wave sounds.

One of the best Roller Coaster ride in the UK. The distance between the ride is near to each other, making it nearer to walk. Hence more rides you can do. The location is perfect, by the promenade, just park your car by the road side parking ( cheaper than inside the park, only £8 you can park from morning until evening, inside £18!!).Don't miss to ride THE ICON ( Silver colour and InFUSION, Blue colour), both awesome!

Rides are very good when you can get on them. Icon is one of the best, but In Fusion is also very good. The Big one was closed due to weather conditions. Recommendation is to buy the Speedy pass when booking online, trying to buy it in the park will be too late as there is a limited number and everyone try to get one once they experience the waiting times in the first ride they try. It will be 4 stars if I could have got on more that 4 rides during 8 hours stay. Also queues to buy food are crazy

We had a great time over the weekend in the pleasure beach! On all the old rides having a great time with family. My Son enjoyed riding all the child and family friendly rides at Nickelodeon land. Nice to see some new thrill rides being added to the park too 🎢 limited food and drink options though especially for vegetarians. The main downfall of the trip was having to pay by card for everything 🙄

I remember walking around here with my nana for FREE, Once in a while I'd go buy a ticket and go on the old wooden roller coaster 😲😍 Yes that was in the 70's but now to wonder around 2022 and NOT go on any rides they want £47.50 = $61.88 US dollars (at the time of this post) OUCH 😢🇬🇧 This is NOT DISNEYLAND but almost costs the same. No wonder there was hardly anyone there. SORRY we PASSED on across to the South Pier for FREE

Couldn't book online as was last minute thing so was a little shocked at the gate price. Family of 3, with a 5year old, lots of rides he was still too small for but there were plenty he could go on. Staff operating rides/in amusement arcades were all very friendly and welcoming, food at restaurant places quite expensive but not too bad at the various stalls dotted around. Plenty of toilets.

I had a great time at the Blackpool pleasure Beach theme park. The queues aren't particularly long and the rides are amazing however, there is very little social distancing and a lot of people weren't wearing masks but the staff didn't seem to mind. After all, I had a really good day and managed to get on 90% of the rides.

We visited on a Tuesday and could finish riding most of the recommended rides within 3-4 hours. I would recommend trying to book the tickets in advance(little cheap) and also if you’re a uni student to avail 10% student discount. Also, BPB has lot of rides suitable for every age group though the crowd was mostly kids. Moreover, wait time for the popular rides is usually 20-25 min. So, if you visit on weekends maybe the wait could be more. The food court is good too. All in all we enjoyed our time there.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is a classic gem of fun. It proved to be a delightful and nostalgic experience. To enjoy discounts, buy tickets 7days before your planned date of visiting. Blackpool Pleasure Beach offers various forms of entertainment to complement the rides The dining options at Blackpool Pleasure Beach offer a decent selection of snacks, fast food, and sit-down restaurants. I’m conclusion it was fun to be there

Fun day out with so many different attractions for all ages. Nickelodeon’s land was great for the kids plus family,Alice in Wonderland and Nickelodeon streak were really good. Theme park food was yummy and affordable, the donuts and bubble waffles were my favourite.Icon is a must try ride along with Valhalla(don’t forget a raincoat if you don’t wanna get soaked ) both of them sick rides but not the only ones. Queue times not too long, great experience for all ages!

We booked tickets online as you aren't able to pay on the gate. The website advises they are letting a limited amount of people in to help COVID measures. It also advises that rides may be cleaned so expect delays... We were very disappointed to find the park as busy as any other August bank holiday, queues 1 hour 30 minutes long and people not adhering to social distancing rules. Very frustrating. For a family of 4 we paid just over £110 plus £15 parking to go on 4 rides. My children were very disappointed and we didn't enjoy the day. Yes I understand that visiting a theme park in the midst of a pandemic, there's going to be delays however I did think the capacity would have been reduced like other places. It seems we were caught out by the people who'd purchased fast passes, these visitors got priority on rides no matter who long other guests had waited. Again, frustrating when other theme parks aren't offering fast passes due to the pandemic and trying to make the experience a good one for visiting guests. The staff here we're good and doing their best to remind people to social distance and getting the rides going as quickly as possible. The park was clean and the rides we did manage to get on we're good. Overall I would advise anyone thinking of visiting, to consider fast passes or go at a less busy time.

We had great fun going on the rides. Never had any food there as had already eaten. Sadly only stayed about 3 hours as had a long drive home as it was a Sunday. It was very expensive for the short time there but all of us enjoyed it from my two year old granddaughter to myself the granny and the others in between lol as there were 5 of us in our group. It was great to have rides suitable for all of us.

Really fun day out. Pretty good value compared to some competitors, especially the food and drinks which are pretty reasonable prices by theme park standards. Really needs more seating, especially near food outlets. Also some more shaded areas for hot days. Some areas are a bit scruffy, but the rides are world class. Staff are really friendly.

Excellent day at the park. A lot of rides to do, good food places, and vegetarian/vegan options at pretty good prices. Staff are so friendly and helpful and made our visit brilliant. Big shout out to Aaron who served us with our Bucket of fries! A great example of good service and friendliness to Blackpool pleasure beach. Wonderful experience and we are returning later this year.

Superb value for money for the number of rides and attractions achieved during a day visit - Excellent for thrill seekers! The only let down was the lack of customer service skills from many of the concession stalls staff. (Future visit already being planned! 😁)

First time we've been for nearly 40 years... we loved it just as much now and we did back then. The wooden rollercoasters are just brilliant. Valhalla was amazing and all the old favourites, ghost train, Alice in wonderland, etc. are all well maintained and very nostalgic. Go have lots of fun at this fair. Pricey but worth it if you stay for the whole day

Nice Theme Park for Kids and Adults , There are different rides to explore , Nickelodeon Land for Children is the most busiest. We went on Friday still its was quite crowded so plan accordingly if you are planning to enjoy most of the Rides as few rides waiting were more longer. Overall a good day spent inside the Blackpoool pleasure Beach.

We had a great day with our little one, mostly short queues for rides and lots to do! I've removed a star because these days the prices are crazy expensive. Highly recommend the Pleasure Beach Railway which was lovely. Only one room for improvement: the only time we really had to queue was for donuts. The machine was broken but the till assistant kept taking orders, which resulted in a lot of disgruntled customers who had queued for 20 minutes, paid and got nothing. Some staff retraining needed there I think!

Blackpool pleasure beach was lovely as always. I have to say the E-ticket system is abit of a faff especially if you have kids who don't have phones but want to go on rides themselves. You'll need a well charged phone on you as you need the QR code to get on all the rides or perhaps a printout.

We had an incredible family day at Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Illuminations! 🎢✨ The iconic piers, tower, and entertainment places made it an unforgettable experience. 🏰🎡 🎠 **Blackpool Pleasure Beach:** Thrilling rides, lively atmosphere, and something for every age group. The adrenaline-pumping roller coasters are a must-try! 🗼 **Blackpool Tower:** A historic landmark with stunning views of the coastline. Don't miss the entertaining shows inside—perfect for family fun. 💡 **Illuminations:** The lights along the promenade create a magical atmosphere after sunset. Take a stroll or hop on the tram for a mesmerizing light display. 🏖️ **Seaside Charm:** The traditional piers add a touch of nostalgia. Explore the arcades, grab some traditional fish and chips, and enjoy the sea breeze. 🎭 **Entertainment Galore:** From street performers to theaters, Blackpool offers a diverse range of entertainment options. Check the schedule for live shows during your visit. Overall, a splendid destination for family outings! 🌟 Highly recommended for a mix of excitement, nostalgia, and seaside charm.

The illuminations are magical! Unfortunately the weather was not on our side. We decided to talk along the promenade during a storm (we hadn't checked the weather forecast!) and got pelted with sand all the way down. We then decided we would try driving through which was a lot warmer. The stretch of lights would be difficult to walk the whole way along but walking did give more time to appreciate each set of lights for longer. There were trams that were very Christmassy and also had Santa on, maybe we will try that out next time!

Fantastic lights, but totally taken aback at the disregard of social distancing and out of the thousands of people we drove past not one person was wearing a face covering, including the guys in yellow hi viz vests with Blackpool Council logos on, we stayed in are car and was to scared to leave the car with this amount of thoughtless people about. But the lights are spectacular well done Blackpool

Very overpriced and alot of the height restrictions me a smaller sized rides don't get to use most of the rides, if you book days before you save a significant amount on the day price you pay, the whole resort is tired and unfortunately suffers from dreadful British weather which dosent help, its freezing windy and overall a bit of a bleak place, the yrmas are nice but the end of Blackpool near a the tower has. A rundown chavvey appearance and some what scruffy, the trams are fresh and clean but overall I won't be going back anytime soon,

Possibly the best theme park in the UK! This had always been a favourite day out as a child and coming back reminded me of what a great place it is. We take our children to a theme park every year and this year we visited Blackpool. What an absolute ball they had, so much so that they insist we visit again next year! Thank you Pleasure Beach it truely was a pleasure visiting you.

Love every minute of it, we went during a non busy day so no long lines, not many people around, did pretty much all the rides yes including nickelodeon ones even tough was just my husband and myself, plenty of places to eat or grab a drink, restrooms clean rides seem quite safe although some seem to need an update like the ghost ride did not think much of that one but being the first gosh ride according to my husband then you understand in those years was pretty scary. Obviously can't take many pictures as you most of the time on rides. Ps. Most of the rides have a little space just before you get on them to leave your small belongings like purse or wallet, cell phone, glasses I do not recommend to bring a big bag if you don't need to.

Went back to this Theme park with my teenage Son last year for the first time since I was a child and was very impressed. It still retains that old seaside charm i remember but they have also sympathetically blended old with new and brought it bang up to date with some fantastic modern rollercoasters and rides. Love the fact they have kept old favourites such as Steeplechase, Grand National and Big Dipper, it can't be easy or cheap to keep these old timers going and its nice to see they have. I hope they continue to for as long as possible because it really does make this place unique. I think we were either mad or totally fearless in those good old days (I remember my gran going on the Big Dipper with me !!) because the National and the Dipper are real white knuckle boneshakers compared to some of todays smooth rollercoasters, great, great fun but don't go on them with your false teeth in !!!!😬🥴 Great value too, relatively cheap compared to the two other big parks in the UK. Staff were wonderfully warm and friendly, just like I remember Blackpool folk as a kid ! Can't believe this park is now well over 100 years old, its offered thrills, laughs and pure escapism for millions of people over its lifetime and created millions of wonderful memories and I hope it continues to do so for another 100 plus years. Great park, great day and we'll be back next year. Thank-you Pleasure Beach and all your wonderful staff, you made me feel like I was 10 years old all over again ! 🤪😍

The last time I visited Blackpool was 18 years ago and had memories of a dated town. Recently went there with my daughter and had a great time full of wonderful memories. Waterfront has been changed and offers much nicer access to the beach, which made Blackpool a very different place. The water park was fantastic so as the theme park. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Some great rides and attractions for an exciting day out, the queues on the bigger thrill rides can be a bit long, but getting a speedy pass will make the day go a little faster. I bought the normal tickets and managed to fit in all the big thrill rides within 5 and a half hours going on infusion 3 times and icon twice. The best ride for me had to be ICON - I have to say this is by far the longest ride unfortunately THE BIG ONE wasn't in service due to high winds but I'll have to come back to that one as it is the fastest roller coaster in the UK. Surprisingly Revolution is also up there as a favourite it's quick to get onto and doesn't last long but there's a definite thrill. So much to say I guess I'll have to review each ride separately to give an in-depth experience. Overall it's a great day out for all ages, food and customer service is welcoming.

What a day we had! We went on a trip, and when we arrived, I was blown away at how awesome the fun fair was. There were plenty of things to see and do, and the food was really good. Going to Bubble Waffle was really interesting as the way the way the waffles were made were so cool, and it's definitely something new to try if you haven't already! Definitely recommend going because it's a really good family day out!!

Despite using your ticket to enter park you also have to scan the ticket at every ride and go through the smallest barrier. The maps aren’t entirely helpful and neither is the app. Thankfully we went on a quiet day due to weather which did mean many rides were closed at first. Good luck if your any bigger than a size 16. The seats on the rides are really small and uncomfortable and there. The app tells you the park is completely cash free but that’s not entirely true. The stalls are cash only so be sure to take cash and make sure you phone is fully charged. We weren’t told until the end of the day that you can get your qr code printed in the Wallace and gromit shop. It was still fun and staff were friendly and helpful that’s the only reason I didn’t drop another star but it could definitely use an update.

We went while tier 3 restrictions had just come in to force. Still a great day, in fact better as it wasn't very busy and was able to go on rides multiple times and still have time to spare. Great day

Great evening riding the tramway. The Illuminations are always a hit witb the kids! Downloaded the Blackpool Transport app and got a small reduction on transport tickets. You can purchase in advance and not activate until you need to use it. Get 24 hours, 3 days or 7 days for reasonable prices. Family of 5 cost me £11.50 for 24 hours use. On and off as many times as you like and use on the buses too!

Visited last weekend with two teenagers. Excellent time, the park and friendly staff doing an amazing job following covid rules. Plenty eating areas food really good and where applicable piping hot! Ride queues long on the popular attractions but not a problem for us we still had a fantastic time! Looking at planning our next visit very soon!

Under the circumstances. The pleasure Beach did an excellent job. Nearly all the people who attended wore masks. Food was good. Pricey. But you expect that. Rides were amazing. All the family enjoyed their day. Going back again next month.

Fantastic place for a family day out. All covid restrictions are in place and e ticket park entry for even less contact with other people is great. Would definitely go again!

Went October 2020 with the family. We all enjoyed the Illuminations. My little boys especially loved the Sponge Bob section. We arrived at 8pm, big mistake, traffic was a nightmare. Decided to park up and walk, but with hindsight should have used the Tram.

I went early Sept 2020, and looks like they learned how to manage the crowds during COVID (or maybe we went on a lucky day). Maximum wait we had was 25 min, and average wait time was 15min. Therefore, we were able to pack in nearly all the rides. The park didn't seem that busy and most people kept their social distance and wore masks. Really liked the mix of fast new rides and the older wooden rides, a very unique experience. Sadly, the big one wasn't open due to high winds.

Full marks for the pleasure beach. Excellent effort with the current covid restrictions and we look forward to returning one day. We felt really safe. 6 hours passed in the blink of an eye.

Open times changed at short notice, but on arrival couldn't blame them, place was very quiet. I managed to walk straight on nearly every big ride. Was brilliant fun. Nickelodeon land was the same which was great for children who don't understand queueing. Only down side is not everything was open and the map is terrible.

The best there are not that many safety measures in place but before entering inside any of the arcdes or entertainment places you must wear a mask and scan the qr code from the NHS covid tracking app. Saves abit of time if you have already in your phone . Attractions are still beautifull. Night lights are the best to see

Absolutely fantastic experience, loads of precautions taken, screens up in between queues, floor markers for social distancing, one way systems and hand sanitizer stations all around the park especially at the exit for each ride we went on. Staff were all extremely helpful, there were lots of cafes and shops closed but that is to be expected as it was a Monday near the end of the season. There were no queues for rides and every one we saw were respecting social distancing and were wearing masks. Staff were dotted around the park to make sure everything was being followed but didn't spoil the experience.

I have been to Blackpool Beach and it is an exceptionally beautiful and charming and glorious beach and it is definitely worth visiting. I would definitely recommended everyone to come and visit this beautiful and charming beach. In adding another thing I wanted to say once again that Blackpool Pleasure Beach is an exceptionally beautiful and marvellous and is an exceptionally glorious and charming Beach and I would once again recommended everybody in the whole world to come and visit this exceptionally beautiful and marvellous Beach. The owner of Blackpool Pleasure Beach is an exceptionally marvellous and thoughtful person as well and the owner is an exceptionally kind person as well. I saw the Blackpool Lights in Night time and They are Exceptionally Beautiful.🙉 Blackpool Tower is Exceptionally Beautiful as well and Blackpool is one of my Favourite Places. In adding once again all of the people that come and visit Blackpool Pleasure Beach have Exceptionally lovely personalities themselves. The owner of Blackpool Pleasure Beach also has an Exceptionally lovely personality as well.

Despite the restrictions of covid-19, Blackpool Pleasure beach was a great day out and their rules for social distancing were well done, everyone followed them with no qualms. All the theme park staff we spoke to (especially the wee guy at the basketball hoops) were absolutely pleasant and friendly. Great customer service!!

Had a brilliant time at Blackpool pleasure beach a great choice of roller coasters and rides to suit all ages and even with the pandemic everything was done correctly hand sanitizer at the start and end of rides and socal distancing signs in place, one way systems in some places, any where that can have connect was sanitized and cleaned a wonderful day. Had our third time here and finally got the experience the big one for the first time brilliant ride it's a must.

Considering the current circumstances it was a pleasant day out. Earlier in the day the queues were quite long at about 45 minutes for the more popular rides but towards the end of the day many people had left and on some rides the queues were 0-5 minutes. By far the best rose IMHO was Icon, I lost count how many times we went on that ride!

An excellent collection of classic wooden rollercoasters, fun steel coasters, classic dark rides as well as a great family area. A lot of the rides are very unique and unusual - such as Steeplechase - the last ride of its kind in existence. The food is great (especially Big Pizza Kitchen, Coasters and FY4 Fried Chicken) and the staff are efficient and generally friendly.

We had a great day with the kids , weather stayed dry and all the rides but the big one was running which wasn't a problem for us. There wasn't any queues so the kids got to ride to their hearts content. The Avalanche was their favourite 😀😀 Only problem was scanning your ticket for every ride which didn't seem to work properly for most of the rides , seemed a pointless exercise when we had to show them to get into the park in the first place .🤔

It was my first time visiting Blackpool pleasure beach as i stayed near fallborrow park Dean resort. There is a decent amount of thrilling rides at this park. One of the best rides to experience in my opinion would be the big one 235 feet high in the air looking out to Blackpool. If your staying near the lake district its definitely worth a visit.

A fun theme park. Some great traditional 1930's wooden rides and also some modern thrill rides. The food is traditional theme park fast food. The lines were not too long. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that the Valhalla, Impossible Ride, Grand National and The Big One were all closed for some reason or another which meant I missed out on some I wanted to go on. Overall a good place, depends when you go as to what's open.

  • 2/5 Michael N. 2 years ago on Google
As lost a lot of its appeal . Run down shop units . expensive attentions . No beach to sit on . Fish & Chips outlets all over Blackpool. Blackpool lost it when they put turnstile in at the pleasure Beach and then over priced it . I member just walking in and being able to go on what you wanted or just have a walk round. If they shut it down tomorrow will be no great loss. Ones you have been to madam tussauds & dungeon & coral Island it's job done . There are people still trying to keep Blackpool alive but they have a long way to go .

Amazing day at pleasure beach theme park!! The new rides are brilliant, especially the ICON! The grand national is one to watch out for as it has a super bumpy & harsh ride. The red arrows ride is definitely worth a go, you have to challenge yourself to spin all the way over!!

  • 4/5 Ben D. 1 year ago on Google
Great way to spend a day, nickelodeon land is great for smaller kids. It is a bit of a pain having to use your phone to scan a QR code to scan to get on every ride. The picture options for the rides are reasonably priced, £20 for a wrist band you can scan on all the rides with cameras and get a digital copy

Great day out with plenty of rides for everyone. It was not very busy so it was nice and relaxed to stroll round. The food and drink stalls were well priced considering it is a captive audience they never over charged like most places would

The pleasure beach was brilliant, there were so many more rides than I expected and they were so much fun to ride - my favorite being infusion which I rode four times in a row although it does hurt your head a bit. Parking price is still expensive.

  • 5/5 Dani C. 1 year ago on Google
Short staffed so no picture desks at rides where open or available which although they are pricey at times the choice of taking away as souvenir is so much better than just out right slamming down shutters and bolting closed without any mention whatsoever on website, admissions, entrances or even rides. Perhaps management have missed a little turn there due to cutting manpower. 🤔 feel free to respond to me personally for my further thoughts 👌

I do love coming to Blackpool pleasure Beach it's a great place to bring the family for a fun day out. There are plenty of rides for adults and children to go on. There are about 19 rides a 2 year old can go on. They have plenty of rides, a plus-size man, or a woman who can go on, too. There are plenty of places to eat and drink as well, and the whippy ice creams are fantastic and very reasonably priced.

Great day out! Visited on Tuesday 20th June. We booked online in advance, would recommend and then you just scan your E-ticket before getting on each ride. Wasn’t busy at all because it isn’t the school holiday, longest we had to wait for a ride was 20 minutes. Icon and the Big One were my favourite rides, so much fun!! The only thing was the staff on the Valhalla ride were a bit rude/seemed fed up but it didn’t bother us because the ride is so good! Would definitely come back again!

  • 3/5 Colin S. 10 months ago on Google
I'm very conflicted about this park. On one hand it has some very unique rides that you can't find anywhere else. But the park is a nightmare to traverse. The theming of everything is all over the place and is very disorganized. It's a good park for ride enthusiasts since many of the rides are very unique.

  • 5/5 Lucy T. 1 year ago on Google
Brilliant day out! Love how much is crammed in to the space. It was busy, as I would expect at Easter, but didn't queue more than 25mins for rides. Keep an eye on the app for queue times. Park was clean and tidy. Staff were helpful and everything was kept moving.

Fantastic day out if you enjoy rides. It’s closed Monday and Tuesday so we had to go on a Wednesday and it was open 11am till 5pm it wasn’t to expensive for food but it was £50 to get into the pleasure beach. All the rides was open and wasn’t a long queue to get on them

  • 5/5 Ammad F. 8 months ago on Google
Went on a Sunday. Mix of weather but no fast winds so all rides were open. ICON was the best by far, very smooth and enjoyable. Valhalla was a disappointment compared to the one before the upgrade. Would not recommend it. Infusion gets worse every year. Lot of head banging and was painful. Big One again lives up to its name. Kids had a lot of fun in Nickelodeon Land.

  • 4/5 Simon R. 8 months ago on Google
I took my girls and one of their friends last week when the sun was out. It was an enjoyable day for all of us we arrived at 11am and left the park at 7pm so a full day on our feet. A couple of things that were disappointing like others have mentioned on reviews especially the characters which interacted with the children but then you had to pay extra for a photo with them. The eTickets frustrating having to scan on each ride which drains the battery. I had to screen shot them for my eldest to get on rides and my youngest needed me to queue with her for some of the smaller rides. After seeing and speaking to another family using cards we found out that you can request these from the shops which does help. Food and drink weren't too overly priced and despite the park being busy we had a great day out. Nickelodeon land was fun for the younger children but I do miss some of the older rides like the log flume that has gotten smaller and some of the others that have disappeared. I would recommend planning your visit and avoid the rides near the entrance and go to them nearer the end of the day as they did have long queues. The best ride for us was the Avalanche.

  • 5/5 Beka O. 8 months ago on Google
We spent a beautiful (windy) summer holiday Monday here. We came for the white knuckle thrill rides and weren't disappointed! The views off the tall rides were so special and made our day even more memorable. Staff were efficient and friendly throughout the day. Surprisingly moderate queue times for rides 10-30 minutes, the longest one Valhalla 45 minutes that was by far the longest one, but so worth it (prepare to be drenched to the bone)! It wasn't as insanely priced as some places like this. We didn't do much of the family areas. But they looked good. Took me a while to hunt down my pre payed refill drink bottle which can only be collected from the refill station by the entrance and costs exactly same as buying on the day from any stall so don't bother. Their parking lot is small and costs ×2 as much as parking on the street by the park. The downside to experience was having to scan your ticket for every single ride. Also the app isn't very accurate with queue times. Having a map on the app would be good. They were handing out QR codes for Spotify for music related to the rides I didn't really understand the point of that.

  • 5/5 Zamsa H. 8 months ago on Google
This is one place I enjoy coming to over and over again, you have theme parks, lots of places to eat, shops, the beach, car parking/toilet facilities, the zoo etc. never get bored. The pleasure beach hasn't really changed much over the years, used to have to scan wristbands, now you have to make e-tickets when booking online with photos of each individual person coming with you. Although you have to scan on every ride (which I don't see the point as now there isn't any option to admission only tickets, you have to purchase a full ticket, whether you go on any rides or not), sometimes they only ask how many people going on the ride and they let you through, don't see the point of the photos either as they don't check who they scanning. Overall, apart from the price and e-ticket situation, an enjoyable day out for the family as different rides available for different ages, would recommend at least one visit.

  • 4/5 Bogdan C. 7 months ago on Google
We had a nice time at the park. While we enjoyed being here we did find it rather difficult to find rides as there are no sign’s around for directions and the map is not the handiest. The park does seem rather old so it would do with a bit of a glow up. We were there on Saturday and it was pretty busy with the longest queue being about an hour. Would be interesting to see the queues on a weekday

  • 4/5 Jess K. 7 months ago on Google
Loved all the rides and the view from above ground. Definitely a fun family day out. Although, the shops are a little expensive and you can only pay on card.
