The owner leaves incorrect information about closing times. He says the restaurant closes at 8 pm but refused to serve me dinner at 7pm saying the kitchen was closed. He can close whenever he likes but don't let people assume they can eat here when they will be turned away long before closing. Other restaurants in the area have useful listings.
Nice place, ate very well. Service was great. Maybe a tad pricy but all in all good
Upscale Restaurant separate from a cafeteria style self service restaurant with very large and nice playground and splash garden. Fantastic in summer, highly recommend.
I can't comment on the food or service, but I feel it's important to warn other parents about the very misleading setup regarding the children's play area. The restaurant advertises that it has a play area for kids—but what they don't make clear is that the restaurant and the playground are in two completely separate locations. You’re not allowed to bring food from the restaurant to the playground due to so-called "safety reasons." But here's the real issue: they expect you to sit in the restaurant while your child plays outside completely unsupervised, out of your sight. And if your child needs you, she’s supposed to walk alone via a public street—being careful of bicycles—to reach you. How is that safe? How is that even remotely acceptable? If safety is truly a concern, why not have a direct, secure access between the restaurant and the play area? And please don’t come and say that I could just eat at the playground—because all you serve there are deep-fried frozen snacks. That’s not a real meal, and certainly not something I’d want to sit and eat while my child plays. The entire system is completely backwards. It’s absurd to call it safe while expecting a child to cross a public area alone to reach their parent. Very disappointing and not at all what a family-friendly place should be.
The location is nice, staff is friendly and playground great for the kids. Food (dinner) however is poor quality. Fried food presented as being cooked and baked. We wouldn’t eat here again. Coffee, drinks and snack are fine.
Very friendly and great service. Food is good, and additionally, they have gluten free bread, and cookies.
My friend and I went here after hiking through the beautiful surrounding landscape, and we were both really looking forward to a cold beverage. When we looked at the menu and saw soup, we figured we'd like to try, and I can highly, highly recommend the vegetable- and mustard soup. They were incredible and that in combination with the seating and location we had an absolutely wonderful time!! Highly recommend this place :)
Very nice and great thea
