Perfect ambience with good food. The waiting time was not bad as well. Staff was friendly. Felt that the music was a bit too loud but that may have been due our chair being too close to the speaker. There’s a bar with bar stools, outdoor seating and comfy chair seatings as well. The interior looks really nice! Plug points available Parking could be an issue since there are only two parking slots of their own, but there’s ample space in the road.

Love this place! You get a good vibe, comfy place, good food and a very friendly and nice staff. You also can Bring your own bottle (BYOB) with no corkage fee and it’s open every day The food is to die for !!! Defiantly try their seafood basket and everything else is just as amazing and good quantity too. They also show the cricket matches on big screen. There is parking also. Defiantly returning here whenever possible.

From the way it looked on the outside, thought it was a cute & tiny establishment, however when you enter you get to see it's spacious than you expect. The ambience was relaxing because of the beautiful interior and the colour theme. The food was quite good too. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Would recommend to anyone. 👍 On a separate note, parking might get a bit tricky during busy hours. Ps. Loved how they came up with their name with a nod to the history. For anyone interested, it's there in their menu.

The atmosphere was actually pretty decent. But I ordered a beef burger and it was honestly the worst burger I have ever had. I can think of at least 5 street joints that serve better burgers. The first burger I received had buns that were as hard as wood. When I mentioned this they were courteous enough to offer to replace it. The second one I received again had old buns and the patty was miserable. I would think less than 50g and and to add salt to a wound it was burnt. The chef clearly has absolutely no clue. Thoroughly disappointed. Safe to say would not recommend to anyone I know or ever visit again

Bar that 'felt like a bar'. Atmosphere, lighting, music was spot on. Had my usual LIT cocktail with some fried fish and "chicken popcorn" bites. And not just bites they've got some nice meals to serve, too. She had her favourite creamy chicken penne pasta with some lime juice. All of these were nicely prepared and served to us on time. Whie we were there, there was this birthday celebration gettogether arranged for some office folks. Heard the staff being quite helpful with it like pausing the songs and having the happy birthday song be played on the speakers, likewise. So to the readers.. This is a possibility too 🤗 Can easily recommend this place for couples, friends, or with your officemates to grab a drink. No cons I can think of 🤔 so this'd be an all categories 5 stars rating from me.

It has a pleasant, soothing ambience. Very spacious. Tasty food. Prices are little bit towards the higher side. Got wide variety of cocktails. Parking is little challenging. Friendly staff and good and quick service. Highly recommended.

Went to Tunnel lounge for lunch with the office colleagues. We ordered several food like pizza, chicken burgers, chopsuey rice, pasta, fish & chips and grilled chicken. All were tasty and potion sizes were enough to share with another party. Only flip side was that it took sometime from their end to give us the grilled chicken.

The seats are not ergonomically designed for dining at all. Once we went there, those were too tall and very hard. You feel like going to some other seats provided, like the Setters for the others, and this time we sat on one of those, and those are also very difficult to reach the table. I highly recommend changing their chairs as early as possible. This is my and my son's opinion. The rest is quite fine. Wish you all the best!

I recently visited this establishment on a Wednesday evening for a casual meal, and I was pleased to find that it wasn't overly crowded. The food was decent, and I must appreciate the commendable service provided by the staff. However, it's worth noting that parking could be a challenge on busier days since they have limited slots available. The venue had a charming and relaxed atmosphere, evoking a cozy feeling. I noticed intriguing pictures of Sir Thomas Maitland and Lovina displayed both in the menu and on the walls. Although I couldn't determine if there was any historical significance to the actual tunnel in the story, it added a touch of curiosity to the overall experience..

Amazing place to dine and wine in Mt. Lavinia. The atmosphere is so nice and the friendly staff make you feel so comfortable. You can BYOB but have to pay 2,000/- corkage for each bottle. Their spirits are priced at club price in Colombo. But you can have beer for average price. I feel they overpriced the food though. We bought french fries and chicken popcorn. Both dishes were too salty. They may advice the chef. They also have a private room you can book for your get togethers. The place is very clean and the customers are classy. Overall, this is very cosy place that you can have a peaceful meal in a very busy area.

New spot with lots of space and a nice ambiance. The cappuccino and latte were ok; I added a lot of sugar. The staff is nice and friendly.
