Delicious dhosai ☺️☺️☺️

This is a small but nice place to have yummy and hygeinic Vegetarian food in Mount Lavinia, Colombo. The staff is very friendly. A meal for two adults and a kid is very reasonably charged. We wish to go back for more.

We had a great experience here! We stumbled across it walking out of Mount Lavania Hotel and stopping in turned out to be a great decision. The kottu was excellent, maybe some of the best I’ve had. The owner was friendly and easy to talk to. Don’t let the small size of the restaurant fool you, the food here is outstanding. I will definitely be back next time I’m in Sri Lanka.

We lucked out with our very first meal in Sri Lanka. Tiny, super clean restaurant next to Mount Lavinia Hotel. Great owner chef who knows his stuff and loves talking food. Had dal and coconut soup - so light and fragrant - followed by an awesome kotu with egg. Just brilliant. The milkshakes are pretty addictive too.

We were there in December 2019 and had a wonderful dinner there. Really recommended Is wrong on google map. You can find this restaurant on the other side of the road.

Kanchi cooked undoubtedly the best meals I had in my one month in Sri Lanka. The gammon steak is so good and his homemade fries are also tasty. On top of the food being great he has a great personality and is fun to joke with.

I hesitated at this very simple place, thank goodness I had seen the other reviews. Everything prepared fresh so expect to wait if full. It was delicious and outranked all the fancy and overpriced places I had experienced. The owner was chatty and interesting and helpful whilst doing everything himself. I have visited Sri Lanka ( Mount Lavinia) twice this year and found this amazing restaurant!! Not only is the food fabulous and reasonably priced but the owner is an all round great guy. Friendly, informative and extremely accommodating. You definitely get the personal touch...... highly recommend! See you on my next visit!

We ate there 3 days (dinners and breakfasts), because it was the best place not only in Mount Lavinia, but also on Sri Lanka!!! The kottu's were perfect, but also crabs and devilled sea food and chicken (boneless!) were very good. We also ate Sri Lanka's soup - very tasty. The owner is really nice person and very chatty :) I highly recommend this place!

Kanchi’s place is amazing! We went two nights in a row. He is very kind and easy going. We pre ordered our meal tonight and it was ready when we got there. The food is great and the service is the best around. I highly recommend the restaurant. See you in a month.

Amazing food right next to the Mt Lavinia Hotel. Brilliant traditional Sri Lankan food like Kottu and fried rice + lots of great Western Options, the Oreo milkshake was so good! Super friendly owner, wish this was our local place and that we were here for longer.
