Ladies and gentlemen, pause Netflix, drop the quinoa salad, grab your jacket and get down to Peppers. Tonight I experienced this little beauty - the Indian spice box. Think of all your favourite Indian snacks, add some chips and spices and you've got this little number. Delicious. P.S. Currently writing this review in a food coma - don't try to finish this all with just 2 people, this is definitely for 4 (but.....must.....eat..... another.....pakora) 🀀

When they say Indian most of them are not spicy but sweet. However this place is doing very similar to desi Indian food. Their starters are outstanding. The presentation is next level. Most of the biriyani I had in Waterford were very dry and not good in terms of spices they use. But here it was perfect in moist and the lamb was well cooked. Again how they bring the food is also interesting. The manager was very welcoming and asked us how the food was. Overall the experience was lovely

Very good food. Nice restaurant to sit in and dine. Free simple poppadom starter alongside our mains which were very filling. Food was good, half my lamb was quite tough but alongside the rice and sauce the meal was extremely filling. Would recommend for date nights.

Went to Peppers yesterday evening, it is lovely. Staff are helpful and friendly (as long as you wait to be seated πŸ˜€) The food is fantastic, the best Balti I have had outside Birmingham, and in general, the best sub-continent food I have eaten in Ireland, all made with very fresh ingredients. The starters were great, you don't often see Aloo Tikki on a menu and these were nicely flavoured and well presented with a tamarind dip. The portions for the mains are generous, so remember that before ordering too many starters πŸ˜€. Will be back again very soon, either in house or for their very competitively priced take-away. The accolades the restaurant receives are well deserved. Thank you Peppers for an enjoyable evening πŸ˜€

The waiting staff were so friendly and attentive it felt like I was right at home. I didn't find them over-eager (which can be a pain) or over familiar. They had it just right. The food was absolutely excellent and the price was very reasonable. All round it was a very pleasant evening.

Cash only accepted which is not ideal. Reasonably priced meal for two - food wasn't bad overall although chicken was a bit tough. 2.5 stars.

If I could give Peppers twice as many stars I would, I went with a vegan and a vegetarian friend and we had genuinely the nicest dining experience in a long time from start to finish. The owner/manager (we didn't catch his name!) went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after and that everyone's meal was perfect - and took extra care to reassure us that different dishes had been prepared vegan. The food was also delicious, I only wish I was hungrier so I could have eaten more! It was extremely fresh and you could tell everything had been prepared with care. I would love for all the staff to know how appreciative we were! I'd definitely recommend Peppers to anyone and everyone (and will be talking about it for days to anyone who'll listen) 😊

Massive shoutout to Ian who I spoke to on the phone! Best customer service I’ve ever received in my life! Called the restaurant as I usually do when I order from a new restaurant as my boyfriend is allergic to nuts. This guy was able to tell me so confidently straight away what had nuts and what didn’t have nuts. Super friendly & informative. on top of it all - Sent me the menu with everything marked off with nuts so I know in future and I don’t have to stress. Cannot express my gratitude enough. This lad needs a raise. So rare to get this these days so I’m calling it out. Was so excited to write this review as i never write review for anything. 100% will be ordering again. Probably one of the best first impressions to a restaurant ever! We love IAN! ❀️❀️

Nice and crispy papadum, with 4 different types of sauces. Like the first creamy sauce with cheesy and yogurt flavour. Starter with Tandoori chicken. The onion and pepper topping mixed well with the slightly salty chicken which balanced out the flavouring at the end. The plum and mango sauces (slightly sweet) work well with the chicken as well. Gave it a second level of flavour. Main course with lamb shank. The lamb was super soft and tender, covered with thick and rich lentil sauce. I had a side of plain naan bread. The naan was crispy outside but soft inside. It matched the lamb shank so well. However, it would be nice to have a bit of acidity in the dish. Overall, like the service and the food as well.

This Indian restaurant is good. The food is really good, the portions are a bit small but they are very well cooked. If you do not like spicy you have the option to ask it truelly mild. The price is totally fair, arround 15 or 20€ per person. The service is good and the decoration is beautiful. I absolutely recommend it. If you want to try another Indian restaurant that is similar but with stronger spices go to Cafe Goa that is close to this one.

Ordered the lamb jalfrezi. The meat was tougher than I'd prefer but the flavour just excites the tastes buds. Ate more than I should have - it was delicious!

It was my first visit to peppers tonight. The waitesses where very attentive and friendly. The place was clean and cozy . Complimentary Starters and ordered Starters where lovely. My Main course "Saag with Prawns" was disappointedly bland, no spice at all but the prawns where perfectly cooked. Garlic Naan was gorgeous! The cappuccino after was only Luke warm. Not sure if I would go back!

Portion size was a feast in the East! Best Indian cuisine restaurant not only in Waterford but in all Europe!! Keep it going cause you're the best by far!!

Went to Peppers this evening as a treat to ourselves over the weekend, myself and my friends were treated so well by the staff there and feel it was our best dining experience in recent memory hands down. I am a vegan and had heard that there were some good options, when I asked about them I was given in depth explanations of what was and wasn’t suitable for me. The gentleman serving us even showed me some options he could make vegan on request. He (I believe his name was Iain but cannot be certain) was very kind to us all and remained extremely considerate for the entirety of our time there. Even going so far as to bring raw ingredients from the kitchen to show us how they were used in the dishes. The food itself was excellent and I would have been happy to pay more than was expected for it - but the biggest takeaway I have from the evening is that I feel like a happier and more positive person for having been there. Simple experiences such as eating with friends can be made amazing with the right atmosphere and the right people in the restaurant - this was one of those experiences.

not one to usually bother writing reviews, but this place deserves it. absolutely the best indian takeaway experience ever. it hit 5 stars on every aspect - super helpful staff, huge portions, one of the best vindaloos ever (perfect heat + tender lamb), exceptionally reasonable prices (takeaway meal for two), and a wait of less than 15 minutes. will be visiting waterford much more regularly now for this hidden gem.

10/10 it’s rare to get such a high quality restaurant that is faultless and β€œPeppers in Waterford” is just that! The staff Colleen & Michelle so lovely and so professional in their manner and hospitality. The price for the quality of the dishes is incredible! Full of flavour - finest meats, I had the Duck and that’s usually a test of mine for any restaurant - many have failed as if you cannot cook Duck correctly I’d worry for the other food! and let’s just say Peppers and the Chef & team passed with flying colours! Partner has the Korma and loved it - I forgot to taste it as I was to busy enjoying my own food. The portion size is very good so arrive hungry that’s my one tip! I got what was left for take away. Top 3 Indian Restaurants I have eaten in! thanks again.

Let me start with... Ireland does not know what spicy means. Everything "spicy" is somehow more sweet than hot. But my husband and I found the exception!!! This is the place. We explained that we appreciate Indian hot/spicy food and that we haven't had anything remotely close to it. The lovely waitresses helped direct us to the naga chili dish... and that was the ticket. They were an amazing generous staff, excellent service, so helpful, kind, and made sure we got what we wanted. It was a great meal... we left more than satisfied. They had a nice selection of wine, beer, and spirits. It was definitely one of the best meals we had during our trip, with the best service. I wish I had caught the ladies' names. Well done, and thank you to the chefs as well ;)

We ate here last night and will definitely be returning. The staff were so friendly and attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. They offered to tweak the dishes according to our tastes, adding more spice to the butter chicken. My husband had the mixed meat madras and we had the garlic and coriander naan. Everything was so fresh and tasty and great value. Our new favourite Indian restaurant in Waterford!

I usually order take away because it's almost half price than dining there. The prices for dining there are similar to other Indian restaurants in Waterford, but ordering tale away is the real deal. However, the atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant and the service is high standard. Food is amazing. I usually get Jalfrezi Lamb (a bit spicy) or Lamb Saag.
