It was a good experience going to Kyoto. Staff members are lovely, helpful and very polite. Restaurant is tyde and clean. Food is delicious!

Absolutely beautiful food, the service was excellent, highly recommend this restaurant.

My first time trying Japanese food and what a letdown. As you can see in the picture it is like a ready meal that you could pick up in a supermarket, the only difference is a supermarket meal would have more taste. The small " portion" of rice was soggy , the chicken was bland and the curry was tasteless. It was supposed to come with salad but didn't. On the plus side ordering was quick and easy direct from their website but I won't be getting a takeaway in Kyoto again

The bento box was incredibly bland. The table server was grumpy and it was as if we were an inconvenience. The receipt pointed out that entry was at 2pm and exit was to be ASAP. That was a first for me. Overall it was an unpleasant experience.

The best Asian restaurant in town, fresh sushi and delicious infusion dishes, never disappoints. They have for take away as well. My favourite dish is General TSO's Monk fish (sweet dish), Futomaki for sushi (big sushi) and Pork or Chicken Gyoza (dumplings).

Got was amazing and abundant. The selection is wide and the vegan options are satisfactory. Would recommend

I had a Bento rice box set (rice + teriyaki chicken + 2 pieces of sushi + vegetarian spring roll). It's nice but you have to adjust your expectations about the teriyaki here. I thought it will be a grilled skin-on chicken graced with teriyaki sauce. Rather, it is a stir fried chicken breast in teriyaki sauce. I paid EUR 19.10 for the rice box set and one regular coke. Nice atmosphere especially the outdoor seating on a sunny day. Beers are from bottles (they have Asahi and Tiger).

I eat here quite often. The service is excellent even when the restaurant is full, the food is delicious and the portions huge. Probably the best in Waterford for this type of cuisine.

The food is delicious and always fresh. The service is good. Compared to other places I've been to, the tables here are always clean. I'm only interested in one thing. They have "Soba" noodles on the menu. As far as I know, it is made from buckwheat flour. But here, for some reason, it is wheat or it was first milled. If this is the case, then it is not suitable for this dish, since the third grind is better in this serving. The first grind is suitable for cold noodles.

This is my favorite restaurant. I like everything very much. I especially love the opening with Naruto! My favorites are duck miso ramen, miso soup and Hosomaki salmon roll.

I often visit Kyoto with my girlfriend. The food is always fantastic and the service is excellent. The chicken tatsutaage is always served hot and fresh.

We were a large group and we given a big table out of the way with plenty of privacy but enough attention to show we were valued. Service was prompt and precise. Dishes were great value and portions were generous. All members of staff were bright and courteous from the time we crossed the threshold till we left. At no time did we feel under pressure to leave. We will definitely return either as a couple or in a group.

Great food, shared lots of different options between us, all very tasty! The salmon roll in particular was unreal! Hot sake and the Japanese Fried Chicken also very good!

I’m a regular customer of Kyoto and all my families including myself absolutely love the place. Good service, polite staff, and great food as always. People just want to complain about anything trying to bring the place down. Good job Kyoto, ignore these negative people and keep going👍

I arrived late after a event and when I ordered a take away … i just asked for something with rice and vegetables and I think it upset the waitress because in my take away box was just chillies and rice, not cool to pay for a meal you waited all day to eat and get just chillies and rice that I couldn’t eat two bites of because it was too spicy just pure chillies ! And I ended up paying twice for a meal because they insist we figure it out on our own and then charge me a new bill when I leave !! I don’t wish to hurt this buisness and I’m sure the food is great but not what I got !!

I Ordered sushi for takeaway on Sunday 20th of November from kyoto . Spent over 100 euro on our takeaway ! Just at the end of our meal I found a worm in my sushi !!!! To say I felt sick is an understatement ......... When I called kyoto to complain they where extremely rude to me ! They told me that it's totally normal to get worms in sushi !! Never in my life have I got worms in my sushi !!! The worm was raw ..and the fish was cooked as you will see from the pictures ,which leads me to believe it was cross contamination!!! I was treated terribly by all staff that I spoke to ! They hung up the phone on me three times !!!! And even went as far to ask me if I knew how to cook sushi !!!! I will not be leaving this go ...

Loved the food and it was our 1st try in this restaurant and we loved it. We loved all side orders and main dishes as well like Tempura prawn, garlic and chilli chicken, dumplings, Singapore noodles, wok noodles, etc.

My wife loves this place. Whenever we have a guest or we visit Waterford, my wife makes it a ritual to visit this place. This wonderful outlet with loads of Japanese meal varieties is a must go to place. You will love every bit of the food. The service is good. And the prices are also nominal.

I was there the other night with my partner, he is a vegetarian and ordered veg Noddles and a main. He found more than 1 piece of chicken in his veg Noddles which is beyond disgraceful and so easily avoided if proper care and use of colour coding was implemented in the kitchen. As someone who works in the food industry I know there is no excuse it's just pure lack of consideration for peoples choices and lazy chefs. I wouldn't advice anyone who is vegetarian or vegan to go here as they clearly don't care about dietary restrictions. They didn't even tell the kitchen either and barely an apology. Very poor service all around This happened Sunday evening the 21st of August. We were served by a women with a straight black hair in a bob shoulder length style. Very unhelpful and not friendly at all We did let the staff know he was vegetarian. That's why he ordered the tofu mains.. We were sitting down the back with empty tables all around us, wasn't that busy. He said it was fine he didn't need a replacement bowl of veg noodles, one replacement bowl of Noddles was all that was offered. And since his veggie option wasn't vegetarian why would he want to risk it again. It's so easy to make sure that cross contamination doesn't happen of the proper training and consideration is taken. Again any vegetarians or vegans should avoid this place

The service and environment are good, the ramen soup tastes good, but the meat is too thin and the noodles are average 😞 I don't want to waste food so I ate all the food

OMG, I think this is the best chicken pad Thai noodles I have had in a very long time. I think it's safe to say same for the other meals they were serving because everyone finished the food on the plate. Great service. Prompt cleaning of the tables. Less waiting time to get served. I am absolutely going back for more 🥰

Ordered at 740 didnt vet it till 10 0clock pm Food cold and about 5 pieces of chicken in my meal Total cost of order was 88 euro Rang loads of times Girl on pho e was very rude. I will be telling e ery one what happened. Never order out again from this place

Absolutely disgraceful service tonight. Rang at 6pm to order for collection at 7pm. Was still waiting at 8pm and no sign of food being ready. Huge queue of very irate people waiting for food with no explanation given. Had to ask for a refund eventually and leave empty handed. Poorly managed establishment, will definitely not be returning.

Great food, excellent value and brilliant service. Couldn't fault it. Would recommend it to anyone who likes asian street food !!

Casual, friendly atmosphere. Very accommodating to special requests. Their Sushi is lovely. Tempura dishes are delectable. Have visited many times and it's always a treat. Perfect for the entire family.

First time in a while getting out to eat sushi. Highly recommend the Chicken Ramen, it was well worth the wait.

Such nice food!!! Everything was delicious and the portions were perfect. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were super nice and friendly. Our waitress Lucia was A1, really god table manners and was so nice to chat to.

Absolutely incredible sushi and wok stir fry. We will definitely be back! The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable we had an amazing dinner! The food looked gorgeous and it was so fresh.

Presentation and staff was really good. Cha Han portion was big. Fish was not fresh thought and clearly thawed. Only thing preventing me from giving it 5🌟
