Four of us were in the area and went here purely based on 2 things: One, they sell pizza. Two, it had a higher rating than the other place with pizza. What we got was way more than just pizza. I always forget to get names but I wish I had. As soon as we entered this establishment we were greeted with a warm "hello", followed by a polite, "let me know if you have any questions". After looking over the menu we all order. A reasonable time later we get our pizzas. Our delicious, fresh, well proportioned ingredient and tasty pizzas. I love that the lady who took our orders checked on us during our meal even though this is NOT a full service restaurant. To have never stepped foot in this business before and be treated like I was a regular was awesome! I will be happy to visit again and seriously appreciate their great hospitality!

Ordered with no Onion on salad due to allergy. They wrote No Onion on the box and then LOADED it with onions.

Meal was good, sandwiches were good except had ordered steak and cheese bomb without mushrooms for both without mushrooms and both came with mushrooms. Didn't bother to complain about it

This place is definitely running a scam or the one particular cashier is jacking up prices and pocketing the extra money. What we ordered according to their menu online should have been 29 before taxes. My husband was charged 41 dollars and some change. He didnt have the full amount when he went in but the fat red head running register took his 25 dollars and told him he couldnt get that back but had to leave to get the remaining money. He asked about a receipt and she said he would get it when he returned with the remainder of the money. He goes back and pays the 16 still due and asked for the receipt and she told him she threw it away. Not impressed with being charged over 10 dollars a sandwich, and one of them was a small. WILL NOT BE COMING BACK HERE!

Oakland house of pizza was very good when I tried it a few years ago, but when I went back, I've never had an experience so terrible. I started by placing my order through their website, and it told me it was going to be a 25 - to 35-minute wait. I placed the order at 5:32, so I arrived at about 6:04 to grab my order. When I got to the counter, the person who was assisting me was very rude and on her phone. She then told me that they hadn't even started my order yet, and it was going to be about 45 minutes before they would have it ready. I was in a rush, so I politely asked for a refund, and she told me, "Well, sir, you have arrived before the window of when we told you it was going to be done, so no". I became upset and said, "Are you going to have it ready in three minutes?" She said nope and began to walk away. Then another woman came up and didn't say a word to me and issued a refund back to me card. She then handed me a receipt and told me it would be back on my card in about 3 days. To this day, I haven't received a refund, and it's been about 2 weeks.

Staff, food and service is always perfect. Great place to get good food quickly.

Average for the local "house of ______" pizza places. Have been many times when visiting family as it is closest pizza place to them The eggplant Parm sandwich is solid comfort food. The pesto chicken sandwich was basically just a lightly seasoned chicken sandwich - if pesto weren't in the name, you'd never associate the word pesto with the sandwich

2nd time this has happened. Food arrived ice cold. 20-25 minutes after being cooked supposedly... Called for a refund and was told I could come back to the store so they can cook me another one. Absolutely terrible customer service and won't be ordering from here ever again. BUYERS BEWARE!!!

I love a good salad but they have a tendency of being boring. Not at Oakland House of Pizza!! So many to choose from!! My all time favorite is their Grilled Chicken Pesto Salad, sooooo much flavor that you don’t need dressing! This is my go to lunch establishment.

Great food. Very busy place so you need to show some patience with the staff especially on Fri and Sat nights as they get swamped with orders. Definitely worth the wait.

I have always gotten it to go, and I have never eaten there until this time. They were busy and had at least 7 people working. The phone never seemed to stop, yet we still got our food in good time it was hot and tasted amazing. They are my new favorite pizza place

Hands down my favorite pizza near Waterville, it's become a Friday night tradition.

We ordered pizza and a sub. I enjoyed the pizza but my husband thought the crust was a little cardboardy.

Their chicken kabob salad is so incredibly good, the flavor of the chicken is in every mouth full of salad. They are always friendly, service is quick and consistent.

For starters the woman who took my order couldn't understand me because she stood so far away because of these covid barriers that are still up. Extremely loud in there. Also the doors are left open there are flies flying around and it's extremely hot. I ordered an appetizer she never heard me order it. She brought out my burger which was absolutely disgusting and very tough. When I asked for my appetizer was you didn't order one she says I'm like no you just didn't hear me apparently. Won't be back. The burger was like a piece of it was so hard and chewy because it's not fresh Burger.

Wasn’t a huge fan. As someone who’s work in a restaurant for multiple summers I will say there seemed to be little organization, poor communication, and was charge for 2 large pizzas which I saw was two mediums. When asking for large pizzas I noticed larger boxes in the back. I understand the price of food but that was a bit ridiculous. Wasn’t a fan. Was told it was only gonna be 30 minutes it turned out to be 1 hour an 15 minute wait. Not impressed

Surprise little gem we found on vacation! Excellent pizza and a cheesesteak this Philly resident found satisfactory! Lol! It was yummy!

Small lovely place to grab a bite if you're in the area. Staff is welcoming and the steak bomb was delicious!

I called Oakland house of pizza on my way home and ordered a pizza. She wanted my phone number I give it to her and she said is this David I said yes and she say ok mama.

We love the House of Pizza chains but Oakland was by far the best one The crust was flaky on the inside but crispy on the outside it was perfect Good people too. So if you're coming to the state of Maine and looking for some good pizza Oakland house of Pizza is worth a trip

I have been coming to this restaurant for 25+ years. It started when I was young and remember going with my parents. I loved watching the ducks in the water. I just picked up some take out food from there tonight, mind you it has always been a 25 minute drive and well worth it. The food remains amazing and consistent, the staff is always friendly and working their tails off. This is a long overdue 5 star review and I hope more people get to enjoy this local establishment as much as I do. Continue to be amazing Oakland house.

Food is always really good and they give you so much! And shout out to the delivery driver we had last week. Thank you for being so polite and giving my dog a treat :)
