“Good vibes only” super chill place. My boyfriend and I enjoy every weekend at the Speakeasy in Central Ave playing some chess and drinking some herbal teas , they kratom is the best in town. Gaby is super friendly and always welcome us with a big smile. You have to try the turmeric latte is out of this world. Definitely a friendly environment.

Great spot!! I celebrated Pride this year during an alcohol-free diet. We were bar hopping on Central and I saw there was a local kava place! My friend and I walked over and Speakeasy Central Kava Bar had my name written all over it!!! They had so many great canned and bottled options- from Perrier and Vita Coco to Liquid Death and Coconut water and a variety of kombuchas. They also had a snack display with Clif bars, nuts, and other assorted vegan and allergy friendly treats. I ordered a kava 70-30 to-go (that the other bars were friendly enough to let me bring in) and a Living Vitalitea Paradise Passion kombucha for later- my friend got a Liquid Death water. Customer service was excellent, no wait, and I loved the decor.

This was an awesome Kratom Mule Here especially the red one. I wish they had a vending machine with healthy food to nibble with this drink!

This is a Kava/Tea house so expect drinks you that are potent and rare for the rest of the US. Every Saturday there's live music and an open jam with this guy named Jake. He's super talented and the atmosphere is very chill and everyone is very friendly. Saturday's are my personal fav because of the music. Looking forward more events like last night.

Kava was good- REAL good. Nothing else was though. Awful service, seems like regulars and staff have their own clique going on. Had to wait a while to be helped. But when I was, I will say- the kava was amazing! That’s about the only redeeming value to this place.

Oh man! I had the pleasure of being served by Doug the kava tender when I visited Speakeasy Kava Grand Central in St. Pete. He went above and beyond to explain the different adaptogenic and coffee drink options they provide. After a couple of minutes of discussion, recommendations, and making sure they had in stock what he was offering I chose a Golden Lions Milk!!! How friggin cool does that sound dudes! I asked him to spice it up a bit with cayenne which he got as excited as I did about and gladly obliged. I am so happy with this place, the Spicy Golden Lions Milk, and Doug's exceptional customer service that I would highly recommend coming here to experience it for yourself! Love, love, love it!

Went here on Saturday for the first time. I loved the environment. Everyone was very nice, the coffee was tasty and they had live music!

My first time attending a drag bingo, and I felt so at home. This is the most LGBTQIA+ inclusive kava bar I’ve ever been to and I absolutely thoroughly enjoy spending my days here.

We showed up for Drag Bingo, which is once a month on the first Thursday. It was so much fun, and the atmosphere was super comfortable. The host Ariana Sparkle was entertaining and had us laughing the whole time. Great prizes too!

I like this chill place! I was grateful they were actually open! So many places in the area have limited hours. Great music when I was there.

Tried Kava for the first time and it was really interesting. No good way to explain it fora first timer. The worker was really nice and explained the different options and how they affect people. I'd recommend to anyone who likes tea and wants to try something different

One of my favorite tea stops. Great service. Fresh products. LGBTQ and BLM friendly location, in the heart of the Grand Central District. Events such as Drag Bingo, trivia and local musicians are frequently held at this location.

Absolutely love this place! The best tea in town, their happy hour pricing cannot be beat, great staff. I come here at least three times a week. My ONLY complaint is the music — it can be very loud and intense at times. It seems that the owner pretty much let’s whoever is working play their personal selection. I would love to see this standardized to some degree. Music can really determine a vibe, especially for a workspace, or a social environment.
